Lenora watched the beds flash before her eyes just a splash of red every now and again. Faster and faster she twirled until she felt sufficiently dizzy to collapse on the floor in a fit of giggles. The music still floated through the room though and Lenora began to hum along with Tchaikovsky’s Ouverture solemelle “1812”. She got up in a graceful movement and began her dance once again because she had been interrupted by a spin, which was much to fun to stop. As the song ended Lenora began the choreography again from the beginning and this time managed to stay in ballet for the whole 15 minutes of the song.
As she finished though she flopped onto her bed caught and her breath once more; she had to admit she was getting rusty. Lenora of course took dace lessons every summer but she couldn’t through school and had found herself not practicing enough as of late. Feeling tired but content Lenora got up from her bed and changed into some normal clothes before picking up a book and skipping down to the common room.
As she got down there she noticed the room was moderately busy and her favorite seat by the fire was already occupied. She decided to sit in a corner and moved into a seat by a window. Staring out at the beautiful blue sky she watched as clouds lazily drifted along the sky. Lenora then flipped open her book and began to read.

Liz entered the common room, which was surprisingly noise this evening. Something Liz didn’t really like very much, as she was just uncomfortable in big crowds. Liz sighed and told herself firmly, that she has to get over her natural shyness and be a bit more sociable. Glancing at the rather loud group over at the fire once again, Liz decided that she wasn’t really ready for that much socializing though. Liz made her way towards the window, where she usually liked to sit. Sometimes even on the window-sill. A girl – an other fourth year, as Liz knew thanks to sharing a room with her, sat near the window, but as Liz didn’t really know her very well, she just sent her a hesitant smile even though Liz wasn’t sure if the other girl saw it as she was reading a book. Lenora as her name as Liz recalled now.
Just then Liz heard the scratching of nails on the floor and smiled as her small gray kitten came running towards her. “Hey, Artemis, had a nice day?” Liz asked softly picking the kitten up and sitting down in an armchair, slowly stroking the animals fur, as the kitten curled up on her lap and start pulling.

((Liz I'm setting this post as after we met in the Student Lounge so that we've already met. Hope you don't mind )"Hollow," Faith chirruped, as she approached the portait hole. "Come in," The Fat Lady said with a smile at Faith as she swung open and Faith entered the Common Room with a call back of , "Thanks!" Inside the common room was bustling with noise coming from the Gryffindor's sitting on the many couches and armchairs. Faith did her usual scan of the room and, by the fire, noticed two fourth years she knew as Elizabeth and Lenora. She crossed the room towards them. "Hi guys," She greeted with a cheerful smile,"Mind if I join you?"

Lenora had not been reading long when she was joined by Liz, Faith, and Liz’s cat Artemis. She reached out and pet the cat, always having been a sucker for them. “Hey Artemis, where’s Pumpkin?” she inquired about her own kitten with a genial smile. “Hey guys how are your days going?” she then asked her human companions. “And of course we don't mind you joining us Faith; you are always welcome. The more the merrier right?” She said with a glance at Faith before putting her book back in the bag she had brought down with her. Staring out the window Lenora felt her mind drifting off into the clouds. “Lovely day is it not?” she asked if only to shift her focus back to them.

Liz smiled at Faith as she joined them. “Hi, Faith, sure you are welcomed to join us,” Liz greeted – Liz was naturally rather shy, but Faith seemed like someone she could become good friends with. Liz didn’t feel tense at Faith’s company, hadn’t felt even when they met for the first time. “Yes, it’s gorgeous outside. I just wish spring would start coming already,” Liz told Lenore with a small smile, “I don’t think we’ve really talked before even though we are room-mates. But call me Liz. I know you’re Lenora.”
Liz scratched Artemis lightly and grinned as the kitten purred, meowed loudly and hten jumped off Liz’s lap and moved back upstairs after rubbing herself against Liz’s legs once. “Jogging is a real burden in all this snow. I really prefer summer and spring in reality,” Liz continued slowly. She loved to run at morning and was an early riser, always making a quick tour on the grounds outside before most people even woke.

Faith pulled (or rather dragged) up an armchair and sat down on it, instinctivley tucking her legs underneath her and hugging at a pillow.
"Honestly," She said with a sincere smile, "I find jogging a real burden on any day, snow or no snow. I've said it once and I'll say again, I prefer air to earth and a broomstick to my two legs. But, I'll agree with you on prefering summer and spring, winter doesn't make for good flying condtions. Snow was great back in Cheshire where I live. We hardly get any so it's brilliant when we do, but up here it's just....well cold for a start." She laughed,"So do you going jogging often then Liz?"

Liz smiled shyly: “I go jogging every morning around 5 and I go for about 2 miles. It keeps me in shape and I have time to clear my thoughts of whatever might be bothering me. I like it. But I certainly like flying as well. I don’t have the newest broom, but it’s ok.”
Liz jumped a little as some extremely loud crash came from the fire-place and glanced over her shoulder towards only to see, someone had had lighted some fire-works. Grinning at her jumpiness, Liz turned back to the other’s girls, with a slight blush on her features, hoping she hadn’t made a complete fool out of herself: “I should be used o this in after four years already, but…” Liz didn’t finish the sentence, knowing that the other two should be able to finish it themselves as well.

"Wow, I'm dead on my feet at five in-" Faith was cut off as yet another deafening round of fireworks were set off. She sighed and sat back in her chair, still in shock.
She shook her head at Liz.
"It gets me everytime too," Faith told her, "I'll never forgive the Weasley Twins for inventing those things. However hilarious they are when someone sets them off in class."

Her two companions began speaking about jogging and Lenora smiled. She wasn’t much of a jogger herself but she had no problem with getting up early. She was surprised she had never noticed Liz out of her bed though. As they were speaking though there was a loud bang as someone set off some firecrackers. Lenora jumped a foot into the air but managed to stifle the scream that attempted to throw itself out. Lenora glared at the boy who had done it before turning back to the girls. She laughed as Liz mentioned that after four years of it they should be used to that and Faith swore to never forget the Weasley twins. “I don't think any amount of time could get anyone used to that.” She said rolling her eyes at the boy. “Bloody kid trying to get attention.” She muttered before realising she sounded like a Slytherin.

“The Weasley twins were absolutely crazy. I sometimes wonder how their sister managed to survive living under the same roof as them,” Liz added with a soft smile, “But I have to admit that I kind of even liked their pranks. They weren’t meant to do any harm that was permanent and they were always funny.”
Liz glanced back at the fire-place before settling into her seat once again: “But all these fire-works getting off without any reason disturbing anyone without any purpose – I don’t like that.”
