Kari lay stretched out on her bed. She was going over the night before, when she and James had nearly caught frost bite after falling into the fountain in the courtyard. He had been so kind and caring, along with considerate. He seemed perfect, but... He also seemed to good to be true.
"How can I tell?" she groaned. "That night at the Valentines dance, when he came back from Canada, he whisked me off my feet, but it couldn't be possible that he likes me. He's a fith year, and he probably thinks I'm babyish."
Kari rolled over onto her stomach. She pulled a chocolate frog from the pocket of her robes and took a bite.
"Chocolate, the must non-depressant product in the world." Kari popped the rest in her mouth and chewed thoughtfully.
"Oh, but he's so wonderful! I couldn't NOT like him!" Kari looked at the door as she heard the handle turn. She wondered who would be coming into the dormitory right now, it was lunch and everyone was in the Great Hall.
