Sitting by the Fire

[Liam Angelus G5]

Whe Liam walked through the portrait hole, he found himself in a familiar place. Liam was glad to be back at Hogwarts, glad because he would finally be in a place where he didn't have to hide what he was. Noticing that he was the first one in the Gryffindor common room, Liam took a seat by the fireplace. He picked the most comfortable chair closest the fireplace and began to read. He'd noticed that the fire was extremely comfortable compared to what it felt like outside, he only wished that somebody was here to share it with him.

[Ayumi]

Ayumi stood outside the potrait of the fat lady of quite awhile. Struggling with books in her hand,and her bag hanging off her back. She looked at the Fat Lady testifly, and sighed, "Ok, I know I know this, it's Hellow." The potrait stayed shut, "Ok, ok, Hallow!" She said with enthusiasm, still no go. "Ok um Hillow! That's it!" She said hopefully. The fat lady began to turn around. "Ok OK fine then Hollow it's Hollow tell me it's that!" Ayumi said now confident. The potrait opened, and Ayumi quickly walked in, ignoring the pain on her shoulders.

She stepped into the large common room, it's squishy chairs, and warm fire, and dormitory stairs. She smiled a bit, and began to walk towards the fire. She plumped down upon a soft chair, and dumped her books on the ground,one pounding onto her feet. "Oh ow!" She wimped as her foot went up. Shaking it off, she opened a book, and began to become indulged, not noticing her fire chair partner.

Liam looked up as he heard the portrait hole open and close. He was able to make out the shape of a girl who appeared to be a first year, and one he knew at that. He turned back to what he was doing and continued to read. It wasn't until he heard the girls books hit the floor and her say, "Ow," that Liam looked up again.

When Liam looked up he said, "Ayumi are you okay, that must have hurt. Did you have trouble getting in through the portrait hole?"

Ayumi turned arouns, surprised by the voice. She looked, and saw that it was Liam. She rubbed her eyes and muttered in a sleepy voice, "Yeah, yeah, I uh got confused with the password a bit." She said shaking outher right arm that throbbed after her 200 sentence assignment given by Professor Frostner. She looked back down at her throbbing foot and said, "Oh no I'm ok, it's my arm that's killing me." She said with a smile returning to her books. "First day and already I'm exhausted and stressed..." She said through the turning of her pages.

Listening to Ayumi speak, Liam realized he too was feeling rather sleepy. "You had detention today, didn't you? That would make anybody exhausted, sitting in a room with Frostner. What'd you have to do, write sentences or something?" Liam said as he put his book away and grabbed a piece of food he'd stuck in his bag that he was saving for a snack. "Would you like some, Ayumi? And, about school, just relaxe, take it easy don't be in a rush, just stay calm."

hi all. hey Liam you done you'r homework yet? think id better m8 a start on mine . hey Ayumi dint see you stiting there how was detention? what you have to do?
she asked as she sat down at one of the tables near the fire and pulled out her potions homework. right how much did we have to liam? i forgot,

Bee walked into the common room welcoming the warmth. Wow that feels good after being outside Bee thought. Today, she had felt horrible. For five nights Bee had gotten no sleep because she was afraid of her dreams. Bee was going to sit by the fire but then she noticed that there were people sitting there already. Bee decided to take a armchair that was a few seats away from the people. Bee didnt even look to see who it was that was sitting there. She was so tired she couldnt see anything very well anymore. Bee threw herself into the seat. Right now she needed rest. Lots of it.
