"I wanted to be like you, I wanted everything, so I tried to be like you, and I got swept away...away. I ddin't know that it was so cold and, you needed someone to show you the way. So I took your hand and we figured out that when the tide comes I take you away...away. If you want to, I can save you, I can take you away from here. So lonely inside, so busy out there, and all you wanted was somebody who cared..somebody who cared. I'm sinking slowly, so hurry hold me, your hand is all I have to keep me hanging on, please can you tell me so I can finally see, where you go when you're gone...where you go when you're gone." D.J. sang along with the music that was playing in her dorm, the guitar sounding magnificent. With a flick of her wand, the music ceased, and she smiled with contentness.
Kicking a box out of her way, D.J. braided her hair as she ran down the stairs to the common room. Her tennis shoes clicking on the stairs as she walked. Tying a blue ribbon around one of her braids, she moved to the next one, braiding it in ease. Her fingers working carelessly over the blonde strands, upon reaching the last five steps, she finished her braid and was tying the ribbon around it when she lost her footing and fell down the stairs, landing half in the common room, half on the stairs. D.J. sighed and just lay still, looking at the upside down room and students who stood before her. A smile crept across her face as people started to leave, the common room to herself, what else could she ask for?
"Aye..." D.J. muttered as she sat up, her back to the common room. She quickly got to her feet and brushed herself off. Her bones ached a little, she hadn't gone jogging in awhile, but she had been a bit busy with schooling and flirting, so she really didn't have any time for jogging. This made her bones very brittle and her energy less, but she didn't mind. She had more social time, something she needed often. D.J. walked into the common room, and sat down on the couch, just sitting there. Humming. Being bored.
