Bored by the fire ((anyone))

Jacqueline sits by the fire, alone. She was very bored, and being rather new, knew noone.

Vika ran down the stairs singing at the top of her
lungs. "R-E-S-P-E-C-T hony do ya know what it means to me R-E-S-P-E-C-T hon yaaaaaaaaaaa." At the bottom at of the steps she sat down,taking a sip from her water bottle she smiled.

Looking around the room Vika sighted anthor girl walking over she sat down in the seat next to her.

Bee was walking up the stairs when she heard singing. It seemed pretty good actually. Bee loved to dance but she couldnt sing at all. She envied the person who was singing at the top of her lungs in a nice voice. She heard the singing stop and Bee relized as she trudged up the stairs that the person must have gone through the potrait hole to the Gryffindor common room. That was were Bee was heading to set down her bag of books. Once at the portrait hole Bee forgot the password. "Please let me in," Bee pleaded with the fat lady. "I am Bee remember me?" The fat lady still wouldnt let her in. "COME ON!" Bee yelled, her temper growing. Angerly, Bee kicked the wall."Ow!" Bee schreeched.

Bee was sitting in the hallway thinking about what the password was when she remembered. "Hollow." Bee said. The portrait swung open and Bee walked inside.

She saw two girls sitting by the fire. She knew one of them but the other one she didnt know. She sat down next to Vika the girl she did know. "Hello Vika," Bee said in a tired voice. Then Bee turned to the other girl. "Hi," she said as nicely as she could. After sitting in the corridor for 30 minutes, Bee wasnt in the best of moods.

Vika saw that Bee walked in.Sitting down by her she greeted her back. Laughing she said,"Got stuck in the corridor again?"

Bee smiled a true smile. "How did you know?" she asked in fake confusion. Bee laughed. The fire was warm and comforting. "Actually, I happened to forget the password." she added hastily, "It must have just slipped my mind......as usual." Bee laughed again. Her anger was slowly ebbing away by talking to Vika.

" Bummer!!!" Vika said laughing. Getting to her feet she she began to walk. The good feeling din't leave her eyes, but her face set into a frown. " Did anyone follow you." She asked courisly. Hoping that she din't sound crazy she laughed it off.

She grinned at Vika, but was startled by her question.

"Uh....No I don't think so.. Why do you ask?" She looked at Vika, trying to guess from her face why she had asked that question. Then she laughed with Vika.

"Was that you singing?" Bee asked in a friendly tone. She thought it was, since Vika was forward with herself. She grinned at Vika again, waiting for her replies.

" Why yes, how did you know?" Vika said in a rich, fake accent. She laughed again.

Laughing on the out side her thoughts were swimming inside. ingnore the question a voice inside her head said.

Bee smiled at Vika. She had forgotten all about her struggle with the fat lady.

"I could just tell because you sounded so good!" She said. She laughed again. She was laughing along with Vika, who seemed to be only half laughing. Bee looked at her, her curiousity swelling up inside her. It's none of my business, Bee told herself as she watched Vika. She had never seen Vika act so strangely. She decided to not nag about why Vika had asked that, since it wasn't her problem. But then again, who would follow her? Bee looked away from Vika, hoping she hadn't noticed that she had been staring at her.

"Am I the only one who has problems with the fat lady? That can't be right can it?" Bee asked in a shocked voice. She was trying to get their conversation back on track. She still had a nagging feeling in her stomach, but Bee ignored it. Vika will tell me when she's ready, Bee told herself. It didn't make Bee feel any better.

" You and Neville" Vika said in a joking tone. " So what are you up to ?" Vika asked.

Taking a seat by the fire she asked Bee to join her.
Clapping her hands a tray appeared with snacks Vika took an apple with carmel and began to eat.

Bee grinned at Vika when she said that it was just her and Neville.

"Oh, well, I guess you're right." Bee said in a fake huffy voice. "I'm not doing much really. Just trying to get homework done, remember the password, get to class and get sleep. That's really my schedule." Bee laughed. "Sounds really interesting doesn't it? Oh, and I forgot about eating. I eat a lot too, so that has to be on my schedule." She paused and then stopped joking around.

"Actually, I am studying much more than I use to. I tried out for Quidditch and now I am the beater! I'm not really doing anything else....." She suddenly remembered her little run-in with the Slytherin girl. She decided to mention this to Vika.

"I met this one Slytherin girl yesterday. She seemed pretty rude and she wouldn't tell me her name, but at the very end when I told her my name, she just panicked and ran off. That's not normal Slytherin behavior, is it?" She smiled as she sat down next to Vika near the fire. When Vika made the food appear, Bee eyed it hungerly.

"Mind if I have some? All that fighting with the portrait makes me hungry."

"Sure enjoy." Vika motioned at the food. Slytherin? Girl? That idea was to famialier. Who could it be? Mary. Maybe. Dawn? Possiblity. Mack? Most likley.

Vika decided to ask about the girl. " So what color hair did she have? Was she older than us? Was she with someone?" Questions poured out of her mouth like water into a sink.

Vika began to recall her night with the slytherins. The most membroble one was with Mackenzie. A sea of possiblities, But that night made them sworen enemies.

Dawn...... Yes Vika remembered the painful thoughts of her mom.

Bee tried to remember everything about the girl. Vika seemed very interested in who it was, she was asking questions left and right.

"I think she had red hair, I can't really remember.She seemed to be in our year. She was with this other girl, who seemed to be afraid of heights of something....." She tried to remember. Everything seemed to have happened only yesterday, but she couldn't think of what the girl looked like. Bee could only remember what the girl had said.

" Red hair?" Vika asked " Could be Mary. Did she say some thing to you?" Vika asked with courisity. She toke another bite of her apple deep in thought.

She looked at Vika with interest. Apparently, Vika had had some trouble with Slytherins as well.... Bee wasn't sure if she should ask about it or not. She didn't want to be rude.

"Yeah, she did talk to me. We had a conversation. It wasn't a great one though, considering she was insultiing me...." She grinned at Vika.

"Whoever it was, they didn't care if people insulted them. She just smirked a lot. When I asked her what her name was, she said: "To you, I am Your Highness.. " Bee laughed.

"They had lots of pride that's for sure!"

" Oh yeah like thats ever gonna happen." Vika said.
" Last time a Slytherin insulted me it was about my mom pureblood & Slytherin.''

" Sooo....." She let her voice trail.

Their conversation about Slytherin had reached an end. Bee decided to ask Vika something.

"So, have you been to Hogsmeade lately? I haven't been there for a while." Bee said with a friendly smile. Hogsmeade was one of her favorite places to go, and she was jealous if Vika had been visiting often.

'' Yeah I have two weeks ago with tristan....." Vika let her voice trail in the thought of Tristan.

Bee looked at Vika in surprise. Vika didn't usually trail off like that. Something was wrong here. Bee looked at Vika, studing her. She didn't have any idea who Tristan was.

"Uh...sorry for asking Vika, but who's Tristan? Is that a friend of yours? And what did you do at Hogsmeade? Your so lucky! I wish I had gone to Hogsmeage!" Bee smiled at Vika, hoping she hadn't asked a bad question.

'' Yeah he is sort of....'' She trailed of again and was blushing. " Well it was sort off personal'' She told her.
