Kelsey was going out of her mind! All of the Social Seperation is driving her INSANE! Kelsey needed friends, it was her. She wasn't like a leach that never leaves anyone alone, but instead she just talked alot with people...
Whatever the reason, Kelsey was bored, and playing her Violin... alone in the Common Room. She was praying that someone would come to her rescue and talk to her.
She had her eyes closed, her arm holding her bow as she played yet another song she wrote.

Vanessa completely stumbled into the Common Room! Her music flying everywhere and cuss words spilling out of her mouth without recognition. She blushed profously as she gathered her things and realized there were people in the common room. Lowering her head, she made her way to a chair and sat down, curling up into a ball as not to be noticed. Vanessa had never cussed so much in her lifetime! What in the world had gotten into her?! Sighing with disgust for herself, she threw her music on the floor and looked into the fire. It was then she noticed someone else there. The girl was playing a violin, quite beautifully if Vanessa might add. But there was something about the way she held and played the beautiful music, that told Vanessa this girl was lonely. Vanessa's friendly side overwhelmed her and she picked up her music, placed it infront of the girl and smiled.
The music was mostly written for piano or guitar, because that was what Kyle played, but she was pretty sure it would work for a violin also. The lyrics were written seperately form the music and Vanessa was hoping that she could sing as the girl played, that's if the girl consented to play at all. Vanessa was a relatively nice person, a bit shy around the edges and a little quiet, but still all around nice. And terrific at writing songs! Or so, many told her. Her piano was sitting at home gathering dust as she was here, gathering dust. She really had no talent without her piano, or Annie. But, she made due.Not very well either.
Stepping away from the girl, Vanessa sat down and watched, her breath caught in her lungs, hoping she would play the music before her. Vanessa needed to sing these lyrics, these lyrics that were so beautifully written on a piece of paper with her swift and elegant handwriting that no one could read except her. She needed to let her heart pour out into this world in which, her mind was imprisoned. She needed it.

Kelsey stopped playing ubruptly and looked at the girl as she entered. She was cursing loudly as she stumbled intside. Kelsey smiled and decided not to make the girl more embarrassed as she was already. Kelsey continued to play her Violin and tried to show the girl that she wasn't judging or anything as she curled into a ball on a chair. Kelsey closed her eyes and conitued to play. That is until the girl placed parchment in front of her, a pleading look apon her face. Kelsey nodded, knowingly and took up the music. They were for Piano... but Kelsey didn't care she knew how to convert notes to Violin instantly. Kelsey thought for a moment and then took up her Violin again. She started to play the notes, her eyes on the parchment...

Vanessa smiled as the girl began to play her music, she tapped her foot to the beat and waited for the entrance to the words. The music slowed slightly and Vanessa knew her time was almost there.
"Stand up straight.Do your trick.Turn on the stars.Jupiter shines so bright. When you're around. They tell us slow down,.We're too young you need to grow. The speed's the key.And they don't know who we are." She sang, her voice strong and soft as if it were a river. Her posture was perfect and her breathing, controlled. Vanessa finished the verse and looked at the violinist.
"I'm Vanessa. You play great! I play the piano and I've always admired violinists, but, I could never really pay that kind of instrument." She said as she opened her eyes and smiled with warmth and happiness.

Kelsey stopped playing and smiled at Vanessa. She reached out her hand for her to shake.
"Kelsey, nice to meet you Vanessa," Kelsey blushed slightly, "Thanks! I've been playing since i was 4 or 5," she smiled.
"Piano huh? I love the Piano, i tried to play once, but I-I moved and left the piano back at, um, home," she tried to make it sound as if she had belonged to a family her whole life. But truth was, Kelsey was an orphan. An orphan since her mom died giving birth to her. Kelsey didn;t like telling people about it, so she usually didn;t tell anyone.

Ali burst into the common room she was upset. " How mean does a guy get"? Ali almost yelled. She ploped down into a chair and then looked around noticing the other girls in the room Ali's cheeks turned red. Normally at this time of day everyone was outside. She sank down even lower into her chair. How could Snape be so mean. It seemed as if he got meaner every year. I mean she had messed up before in his class but this time he never would have even noticed if she hadnt said a small little word.
