Jasmine continued to lean on her broom as she closed her eyes. The sounds of cheering gathered around her and she almost in tears. Ravenclaw was really getting into the game and she thought they had it all wrapped up. But Cho did not catch the snitch first. Jasmine knew she couldn’t blame Cho for anything but she felt really bad. Why didn’t Ravenclaw win? That was her question. Reopening her eyes she walked out of the pitch with her head down. Tears seemed to roll into the girl’s eyes she as walked slowly in the dirt. She held her new prized Nimbus 2000 in her hands and kicked the dirt hard. Jasmine was angry at the moment and she didn’t know who to turn to. Sitting down on a bench she set down her broom and rested her head on the back of the tree.
The wind continued to come after her making Jasmine shiver. She didn’t care and already felt miserable as can be. Closing her eyes again she put her elbows on her knees and buried her face into her hands. Not caring she just felt like looking into the darkness. How could this really get to her? She didn’t understand anything and shouldn’t take this so seriously. Turning around on the bench she spread out her legs and hugged her knees. Turning her face towards the wall she looked at it. It was as grey as it came and sparkled from the snow. Jasmine felt some what relaxed but felt guilt inside her heart. Why did she take this so seriously? Real it was only a game but this was her first game ever and she did pretty well. Scoring one goal was good for her part. Thinking about the positive she felt some what better but the guilt was still there. Humming to herself lightly she rocked back and forth. This is what Lana would do to her when ever she lost a horse show or her horse was sick. Closing her eyes she thought of her favorite song and sang lightly to herself.
"I sit and wait does an angel contemplate my fate and do they know the places
Where we go when we're grey and old
'cos I've been told that salvation lets their wings unfold
So when I'm lying in my bed thoughts running through my head
And I feel that love is dead I'm loving angels instead
And through it all he offers me protection a lot of love and affection
Whether I'm right or wrong and down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me I know that life won't break me
When I come to call he won't forsake me I'm loving angels instead
When I'm feeling weak and my pain walks down a one way street I look above
And I know I'll always be blessed with love and as the feeling grows
He breathes flesh to my bones and when love is dead
I'm loving angels instead" She sang lightly to herself.
After a few hours went by she opened her eyes and felt her throat was shore. Rubbing it she got up from the bench and threw her arms into the air. Stretching up into the sky she felt empty inside. Could anyone feel this empty or disappointed? Jasmine knew sometimes she could. Taking her hair down from its pony tail she let is stick to her face. Not really wonting to move it she walked back to the castle kicking dirt as she went. After entering the common room she set her broom aside and sat down on the couch. Laying down she stretched out her legs and turned towards the fire. She had a blank expression on her face and blink a couple times. Jasmine was just waiting for the guilt to finally go away.
