"Yea, well I remember that when I used to be alone. Life was a lot less stressful!" Pyro snapped at her while turning around and Mary began to pout. Seemed he wasn’t in the mood for their usual back and forth insults for some reason. Mary wondered what could possibly bring about the sudden change in attitude. She was curious as to whether it was just that he did not like large crowds of people, or was it these people in general. Or maybe he was mad at her. Why would he be mad at her? It’s not like that statement was any more cruel than her others, in fact it was much nicer than many, she believed.
She was brought out of her trance by Kris and Jason speaking and she heard Jason speak her name. “Hmm?” she said before she realised what he had said. Lifting her head Mary looked at them “Hey what are you two talking about? I don’t need anybody protecting me I'm a big girl you know.” She said face crimson once again this time a mixture of embarrassment and anger. Huffing she relaxed against Jason once again and pouted because Kris was treating her like a child, Jason was acting as if she was a porcelain doll, and Pyro was mad at her for no reason.

*Pyro leaned back in his seat so he was kind of half laying, half sitting in the chair staring at the fire. He didnt want to admit it, but that being alone comment had really struck home. Come to think of it, he had never had any real friends. Ofcourse, it wasnt like he had cared. He had enjoyed being a loner, the fact that he was one hadnt even occured to him untill someone had decided to tell him.
Mary had been the first person he had really talk to and befriended. they always fought and bickered like this, but usually it had the undertone of sarcasm, or a hint of a grin to show it was just a joke. For someone reason tho her comments seemed more like ture insults today. He also couldnt understand why it made him mad to see Mary flirting with another guy so deeply. Maybe it was because she was his first friend, he didnt know. he ignored Jasons question about the wand and stared in the fire, mumbling quietly to himself*
"So what im a loner, not like it matter. What so wrong with being a loner?"

Mary just sat there pouting until she thought she heard Pyro speak. “What so wrong with being a loner?” she heard him ask. Getting up she moved over on the couch beside him, leaving Jason to sit on his own. She had never seen Pyro like this before and she was mad at Jason anyways, plus he would understand. “You’re not a loner.” She said softly. “It was a joke; that's what we've always done you and I, we joke. What's up with you anyways? I mean you are never barrels of sunshine, meant as a complement before you get upset, but today… well just these past fifteen minutes or so actually… are you ok? I mean did I do something? I couldn’t have done anything though, did I?” she said to him.

*Pyro was looking into the fire when suddenly something moved right next to him, he jumped and snaped his head around. it was mary. He followed her with his head as she sat down and faced him. He looked at her for a moment, than averted his gaze and looked back at the fire. He heard her question. He tried to look back at her and found out that he couldnt. He than lowerd his gaze to the floor and sighed*
"I dont know, I suppose that today is just not a good day for me. Guess im just not in the mood or something."
*He fell silent for a minuet, than smirked, still not looking at her*
"And yes I am, I have been and I suppose I always will be one."

She was astonished; Pyro showing emotion was something she was not used to. She pushed his legs out from under her with a small grin and made herself comfortable. “Today? You were fine a bit ago when it was just us, or even when Jersey came. Seriously did I do something? I'm not exactly the most sensitive person at times.” Mary babbled before realising he had defended his loner comment. “Well apparently not considering you are around people right now and hey look at that you’re talking to me. Plus you talk to more people than just me. But you do talk to me often enough that I'm sorry as much as you would love to do this self-pity nobody likes me everybody hates me I think I’ll go eat worms bit, ya cant.” She said to him quietly but forcefully.

*He arched an eyebrow at her*
"Hey, I didnt say anything like that, I just said I was a loner. Just cause your a loner dosnt mean your depressed or your looking for selfpity you know."
*He looked at her and shrugged*
"And I dont know, guess I just kinda fell outa the mood"
*He looked away again. This was getting to mushy and getting way to much into emotions. He yawned loudly to shake the gloomy mood away, than turned back to her, frown on his face*
"And hey! I told you why I have the wand, Now give it back"
*He turned to Jason to answer his earlier question*
"And yes, I did steal someones wand."

“Thank heavens. At least we are getting on a bit normal topic,” Kris said with obvious irony, “No offence you guys, but I don’t really like soap-operas and would have fled pretty soon, if Mary and you, Pyro, had started proclaiming ever-lasting friendship.”
Kris had no doubt, Pyro would probably fuel up again, but he didn’t doubt Mary would take it as anything more than a brotherly tease.

*Pyro turned to kris, and surprisingly he had a grin on his face*
"To tell you the truth, I to hate soap-operas, stupid muggles, and I was about to puke myself.. Hence the subject change."

Kris raised a curious eye-brow if Pyro didn’t seem to take any offence.
“Muggles do have some useful inventions but I do agree with you on this part. Which ever people think up soap-operas should be locked away somewhere and never be released again. There must be something seriously wrong in their heads,” Kris shuddered, thinking about latin-american soap-operas, “I have no idea how muggles themselves stand those things. Had hte misfortune of being forced to watch one for 4 hours in a muggle-plane once and I was sick of it in 2 minutes.”
Mary rolled her eyes giving up as Pyro once again dismissed what she was saying and changed the subject, She laughed as Kris mentioned Mary and Pyro declaring their immortal friendship, neither one of them were like, it could never happen. Even at her sappiest Mary would never do something as… well just plain insane as that. She came back in as the boys began bashing soap operas.
“Hey!!! They are not that bad, I find many of them quite funny. Plus you can't help but be drawn into the lives of the characters. They are very good for passing the time. In the summer they come in quite useful for blocking out the ranting of a demanding mother. And don't think I will have any qualms with kicking you out of the room if you talk during my shows when I come to Italy this summer.” Mary said directing that last bit to Kris. She was uncertain as to how her mother would feel about her spending the summer in a foreign country with no supervision but she didn’t care, she was going visit Kris for two weeks at least.

Kris batted his eye-brows towards Mary, slipping off the couch, so he was kneeling on one knee and grabbed Mary’s hands in his while quoting with a dramatic grimace, while holding Mary’s hand over his heart, but with a voice tripping of sarcastic adoration: “Oh, Mary. I know you are my sister and not interested in me, and I love someone else, which means that by the unwritten rules of soap-operas, we are bound to be the perfect couple.”
Kris scoffed and sat down on the couch once again, releasing Mary’s hand and scoffed: “All the point seems to be evolving around things like these. Would it really be that hard for everyone just tell the truth. What bothers me about soap-operas is the constant moanings over the silliest things. And why do all women seem to want that one guy always, even when the guy is in love with someone, who doesn’t want him and the guy isn’t usually even worth the women.”
Kris shook his head ironically: “But I know the rules already. You’ll get your soap-operas in peace. I don’t have the slightest doubt you would kick me out of the house and I don’t’ really fancy begin thrown out of one, especially if it’s mine. But you’re still welcomed at any time, night or day as you know.”
Mary giggled at Kris’ declaration that they are the perfect couple by soap opera rules. “Oh Krissy Bear sweep me off my feet and take me to your privet jet where we can fly off to an island where no one will find us. Until my maniac father who is looking to take me back and marry me off to some random rich guy so that my father can steal all of his money.” Mary played along.
She laughed as Kris mentioned all the women going after one guy who’s taken. “That’s because every other guy in town they are either have already divorced or are related to; and know it I guess I should add. Oh how I love the drama; especially when it’s not mine.” She said with a grin. “Well its good that I'm welcome because it would have been pretty awkward when I showed up anyways if I wasn’t.”
Jason listened to the conversation, thankful he was'nt in this topic. His cousin had forced him to watch a soap opera with her onec before, the outcome had'nt been that great. He ended up breking the TV and then yelling at his cousin for getting mad at him when he tried to leave. DEeciding not to speak about this particular topic, Jason pulled out his bag and took out a mirror from it. It was a two way mirror, and the other person who had it was his cousin Justin. Trying to reach him, Jason said Justin into the mirror and to no avail, he did'nt answer, so he put it back in his bag.
