(This is just a RP that I made to meet some new people.)
Maddie walked out of Potions class, with a happy expression. She never could find out why she was so excited in Potions, she just was. She was actually really good at it. Her expression suddenly changed to a one of a kind Slytherin-Smirk when she saw a couple of 1st year Hufflepuffs staring at her, with a (if ya could call it one) smirk plastered on their small faces.
Her smirk then changed to a laugh as they blocked her passageway. "Yes........................." she said completly annoyed, tapping her foot. When they didn't say anything and the smirks left their faces, Maddie made a mental passageway with her hands and they instantly moved aside. "Thank you." she called over her shoulder as she walked away, but you could still hear the annoyence and fakeness in her voice.
When she reached the Slytherin Common Room, she said the password and walked in, and plopped down on the couch, in the center of the room, placed her bag beside her, and took out her Potions homework.

So, since she had nothing better to do, she started on her homework. In at least a half an hour, she had most of her homework done, all except Divination. Actually, she really wasn't all that good at it. Oh well, she'll ask one of her friends about it later. By now, some more people were starting to crowd the Common Room. She stared at the lit fireplace in front of her, kind of dazed... She really hoped someone would come along 'cause she was getting bored.

Mary left potions happily; classes were complete for the day. She had a ton of homework unfortunately but didn’t feel like doing it right away. Looking out the window she saw it was gorgeous out; she needed to go for a walk. Not even bothering to get changed she walked out the front doors into the ground. After a brisk walk around the grounds Mary began to become bored and annoyed by the insolent students who had also come out to enjoy the sun. To escape the fools Mary walked back into the castle and right down the stairs heading to the dungeons.
Click, click, click, click went her heels on each step as the practically skipped down the hall. “Salazar” she said to the suit of armour in a dictatorial tone and watched it slide away to reveal the porthole to her common room. She looked around apathetically and spotting Maddie, one of her dorm mates, moved over to a chair beside her. Dropping her bag to the floor with a thunk Mary plopped down in the seat. “You’re not seriously doing homework on a day like this are you?” Mary asked with a cocked eyebrow. “Its too nice out and even though the absence of windows down here doesn’t let you know it surely you can feel it in the air… that nasty draft that plagues us is barely even here today.” She continued with a smile.

Maddie looked up to find Mary sitting beside her. "Oh hi." she said, and smiled. "Actually, I really don't know why I'm doing homework. I guess I really had nothing else to do. I did however think about going outside, but... I don't know... I just... didn't... I guess..." she said, this time, while laughing slightly. "Weird huh? But, I think I will go outside... I'm already done with my homework for the weekend. And you're right about the draft thing. Oh yeah! Umm... well, I'm done with all my homework, except Divination, I'm completly lost. I've always been told I don't posses " the power!" she quoted Proff. Trelawney. ((Sorry, did I mention that it was Friday? )

Maddie explained why she was doing homework and Mary laughed at her Trelawney impression. “Really? I have always done exquisitely because I keep foreseeing my death and the death of all those who fight on the good side.” Mary said with a laugh. “I do it vaguely though “There is a lot of red and people are crying, fear has run ramped, the dark is coming. Oh Professor must I continue; this is frightening? Everything is so dark and I hear screams in the distance.” She of course eats it all up thinking I have this incredible gift.” Mary said with a smirk and a slight giggle.

Maddie laughed as well at Mary's comment. "Actually, ya know, that's a pretty good idea! I just gotta figure out what to write on here. I have to write like a 10 page essay on what kind of visions I see in class or whatever, and then, for extra credit or something, which by the way I really need 'cause I'm failing, she gives us like 3 teacups and we have to try to read them. The confusing thing is, is that when I look at them, all I see is a huge black blob! And I'm sure that that isn't any kind of special symbol or anything." she said, while laughing.
"Anyway, what do ya think I should write? I mean I'm usaully sleeping in the back of the room, staring into a ball of smoke in the back of the room, or guessing the wrong answer... from the back of the room. In conclusions, I'm always in the back of the room, and if anybody askes how I can stay up so late at night, the answer is "I get most of my sleep during Divination." I think the most intelligent answer that I've answered in Divination was when she was asking everybody what they saw in their crystal ball thingy, and my answer was, "I see smoke.". Actually, I think she was somewhat suprised that I had actually answered something, that was... at least... true..." she said weakly, and started giggling again.
"Oh well, I'm sure something'll come to mind. But, right now, wanna go do something, I think the draft's coming back." she said as she shivered slightly.

It was dark. No words could describe how dark and black it was. This was a darkness that even a flashlight would have trouble cutting through. These were the corriders much much much lower than the Slytherin comman room. These corriders had never seen any human life for centuries. Except for one human traversed these corriders on a almost daily basis. Having traveled this place so much and being used to the darkness Aden could see quite well. He was able to step over any crack or rock that might trip him. Aden had traveled so much here that he would probably be able to do it with his eyes closed.
Aden had found these corriders in his first year. He found them to be a great place to walk and be alone. He also knew that to follow these corriders all the way to the common room would take hours upon hours. Luckily, Aden had already found many secrete passages that sped up his journey. So it was that in less than 10 minuets Aden was standing infront of the armor blocking his way into the common room tapping his toes in impatience.
"Seriously, you should know be by now and open upon my approach." Aden spoke to the armor. The suit stayed un moving. Aden paused. "Your going to force me to say it arent you?" Still the armor didnt respond. "Oh fine, Salazar." The armor moved to reveal the door to the common room. Aden steped in and began to move across the room. As he walked he steped past a group of girls. He rocognized one as Mary Evans, the other escape him for the moment, they both were 3rd years.
He caught a part of their conversation and was forced to stop his walk. He turned to them. "Don't tell me you seriously signed up for that class? And don't tell me your actually planning on staying in it?" Aden had also been unfortunate enough to have taken the class in his 3rd year. After the first lesson he skiped the entire year and signed out of the class first chance he got.

Maddie was still talking, when a boy, older than her, stepped into their conversation. He asked her about Divination and if she had really signed up for it. Well, of course, why would she be doing Divination homework if she didn't sign up for it. Oh well, it was just a figure of speech, probably. Maddie just liked to correct people.
"Actually, yeah." she replied. "My parents made me do it. It's like a thing that runs in our family, and it's sort of a tradition. I, on the other hand think it's stupid, and I'm not good at all." she said, this time laughing slightly.
"And, to answer the other question, no, I don't plan on leaving the subject. I would, but my parents would get mad at me, so, I guess I'm stuck with it."

Hazelle walked in the room, and noticed some people talking,so she walked over to them. "Hi, I'm Hazelle I don't think we've met." She looked at the girl's open divination book. "Divination huh? I don't think I'll be taking that class in my third year, it seems kind of usesless, but that's cool that you're taking it...."

Maddie was yet again, talking when a girl that, this time looked younger then her stepped into the coversation. Yay! She didn't meet very many of the younger students. Oh, another person asking about the whole Divination thing. Oh well, this Hazelle girl sounded like the type of person that Maddie was.
"Hi." she said. "Umm... I'm Maddie. Maddie Kenacheak, if you wanna know my last name." she added at an after thought. "And, by the way, this is like the third time that I've answered this question today, yeah, I take Divination. But," she said, holding up her finger. "I'm only taking it because it's a big thing in our family, like, practically everyone is like really good at it. To tell the truth though, I'm not good at all. That's why I was trying to figure out what to write down for my essay. And, for future refrence, do not take the class, unless you think that you'll be like really good at it..." she trailed off, and waited for someone else to talk. She didn't always like being the center of attention.

Hazelle smiled "Don't worry I was not planning on taking it. That sucks that you have to though....My mother is actually forcing me not to take it." she sat down in an empty chair "It's nice to meet you. And sorry about just comin up and talking to you, I always do random things like coming up and talking to people that I don't even know." she smiled again, and looked around the room.

'Lucky! That is so not fair that her mom's actually forcing her to NOT do it!' Maddie thought to herself.
"Seriously?" she asked, amazed. "You mean, your mom's actually forcing you not to take a class? That's amazing."
"Anyway," she started again. "It's fine with me that ya jumped in. I don't meet very many younger students, and it's nice to finally have a conversation with one."
She noticed the girl looking around the room. "What ya looking at?" she asked.

Aden approached and Mary smiled up at him. “Hey Sweet Heart.” She said to him using her nickname from when last they spoke; he had told her either Aden or Master would be fine titles so of course he got Sweet Heart… She remained silent as the topic of conversation stuck to divination before a girl who looked to be a year or so younger came up and introduced herself as Hazelle. “I would take it for spite… Why do mothers think they can tell us what we can or can not do? Who we can or can not converse with? How is worthy to come to our own bloody birthday party… Mothers…” Mary said the first bit with venom but the final word just sounded exasperated. She hated the way her summer had been planned and she had next to no say… Playing hostess all summer… what a nightmare.

Maddie laughed to herself slightly, when Mary called the older boy "Sweet Heart". Not that it wasn't a common thing to call people, it just sounded a little odd, considering Maddie had just met the boy and didn't really know him.
"I totally agree with you." she said to Mary. "Unfortunitly, just about all parents are like that, huh?"
"Well, do you peoples mind if we change the subject?" she asked.
((Yes, peoples is a word, I looked it up.))

Aden couldn't help but frown at the girl. How pathetic, being led by her parent's chain. He couldn't deny though the demands of parents. His thoughts drew to his father but he quickly shook them out of his head, now wasn't time. Aden looked down at Mary and nodded at her in greeting. He smirked inwardly at the nickname remembering their first meeting.
Mary had a short little outburst about controlling mothers and Aden looked at her with slight amusement. He smirked, "Let me guess. One of your friends has a mother just like that and uses you as an outlet for such stress?" He half-heartedly listened to Madisons reply to Mary. He merely shrugged. "A change of subject would be great. All this talk of Divination and controlling parents is making me ill."

Seth just walked out of Poitions class with a smile on his face. It was the end of classes for the day and he could retire to the commen room and see whos their. He knew he had a lot of homework but he didn't want to do it right awayy. By the time he got to the suit of armor he decided to just go ahead and do his homework. He didn't want it to pile up.When he got to the suit he said Salazar and walked in. He noticed a group of 3 girls and 1 guy talking near the couch. He plopped down on a big chair and took out his poitions book. He made a small smile and said "this is going to be fun."

“Of course not Sweet Heart. I have a mother like that who uses my father and myself as an outlet and let me tell you…” Mary said to Aden with an amused smile as questioned if it was a friend of hers with the demanding mother. Just then a young boy, likely in the year after ((we are playing this where Mary and Maddie are third years just so you know Seth and Aden is still in fifth )) came up and sat down as if he were invited. Mary simply glared at him incredulously – how did he survive so long in Slytherin house with such deplorable manners concerning older students. She then turned away ignoring him but with an amused smirk remembering Aden’s treatment of the first years upon their first real chat. Not that she had shown him much respect in telling him to move his legs or she would sit on them… But then she is Mary so it is different. Plus she would never impose her presence on a group like that – an individual it is easy for them to walk away but a group take so much more bother… As he made a random off hand comment though Mary couldn’t help but look back and cock her eyebrow at him. “I would ask what you are talking about but quite frankly… I don't care.” She said with a sadistic smirk before turning her back on him and looking at Aden. “So Sweet Heart, are you ready for Dawn’s party? I am at such a loss as to what to get her… It’s so hard to shop for other people because anything they really want they can get for themselves…” she said pointedly ignoring everyone but Aden.

Evila tried to slip inconspicuously, so as not to attract the attention of the older students, but ended up tripping and falling on a carelessly discarded Chocolate Frog wrapper. Hastily picking up her books, she attempted to avoid eye contact; she was told that the older children wouldn't hesitate to jinx you if you so much as blinked at them. She didn't really belive it, but it would be best to be cautious, she decided as she entered. All the pride and snobbiness that she usally wrapped around her like a fine dragon scale cloak had disapeared, and she was left shivering in awkwardness. Sighing, she realized that there where no more places to sit other than the couch where the uppper classmen where sitting. There was atcually one boy in her year, but she didn't know. Come to think of it, I haven't even seen him before! This can't be good. As quietl and meekly as she could she sat down at the very edge of her seat and took out her parchment and books. For onec, she immersed herself totally into her work, but hoped they wouldn't laugh at her. Perhaps it would have been better to play it cool. Better to try to impress them then put on a show.
