'Damn kids. When they get my age Slytherin house will be nearly gone, and have no pride left.' Leland thought as he layed on his back on a push green couch. He was watching a few kids run after each other around the Common room. Of couse they were young and they should be having fun, it was just really annoying. "Can't you do that in your dorm?" Leland asked with a bit of annoyance in his voice. They looked at each other as they seemed a bit astonished he didn't night their heads off. Walking towards the dorm stairs, they followed his orders. Closing his eyes, the Common Room seemed to fall silent now. A few other students sat doing something, but they weren't that bothersome. Leland had a busy day. He had an apprenticeship with a business man during the day. He followed this load of a man around a building listening to him and his lisp. One thing is he couldn't use a wand of his life depended on it, nor could be use dictation. Leland had a strong patience level, but seven hours with this man seemed like hell.
With his arms folded behind his head, Leland began to fall asleep. When he first felt the touch of slumber fall over him, be was oblivious to the time. Inhaling the thin cold air of the dungeons he drifted every so slowly into a restful state. Unsure of the time now, Leland's eyes inched open as he found himself alone in the common room. The fire was burning low- lower than he seen in years. It was so dark, he could only see the fire, the couch aross from him and two chairs. Anything outside of his seeing space was pitch black. Sitting up, he stretched his long arms over his head as he slowly woke himself up. An eerie feel fell over the room as Leland remember one of his early years in the common room. He woke up and decided to come down into the common room. When he came down, he intrupted the Queens in a meeting. Of course he was yelled at, he was young! He needed to be put in place, but he remembered the odd sense of 'not knowing that was behind you' that same night, which he felt now.
The Queens he met that night were the older Queens. The Queens of Slytherin have been an on going group in Hogwarts before he was ever a student. Leland would deffinatly never listen to the Queens now, due to the fact he was their age and actually had patience with others.
Looking around the room, shadows danced on the floors and walls as Leland marlved at how it looked like he was accompanied by others, but he wasn't he was alone. Deciding he didn't have enought streght in his legs to get up and walk up nearly 6 flights of stairs towars teh 6th year boys dorm, he would just spend the night on the couch. "Accoi Blanket!" Leland said as he felt a black blanket fall over his feet. Pulling the end of the blanket up to his chest, he layed back down as he placed his hands behind his head again.
