Maddie had just come out of Tranfiguration, and had tons of homework, which like really sucked 'cause, really, she wasn't very good at it. "Oh well," she thought to herself. "At least it's not Divination." Now, Divination, she really sucked at that. Anyway, she had just gotten back from Transfiguration, and it was the last class of the day.
She walked down to the Common Room, said "Salazar", and walked in the room. There wasn't very many people in the Common Room yet, about five to ten, she figured. So, she spotted her favorite chair, the one closest to the fire, and probably one of the most comfortable ones was empty. So, she plopped down in the chair, placed her bag beside her and just, sat there, not really doing anything. But, after a few minutes, she relized that it was stupid and began reading.

The evening was setting in, as Draco napped in his dorm room. He skipped all fo his classes for the past two days. School wasn't important to him. He recieved all of his lessons he needed for the future at home, but still his father forced him to return to Hogwarts every fall season. Draco assumed it was due to the fact he was in the same year as the 'wonder-boy'~ Potter. He did have an advantage over his father. Draco was the closest to Harry than anyone of his father's elite.
Waking up from his few hour slumber, he realized Goyle and Crabbe were gone. "Must have went to Supper." he muttered to himself as he stretched his arms before himself. Draco sat for a moment as he became quite bored. There was no one in the room other than himself. No one to bother, no one to tell what to do, no one to be a practice target for spells and hexes. Pushing his feet out from his covers, Draco went to his closet and put on a dark green robe. Opening the dorm door, he made his way down towards the Common Room. Students began to flood the vast deep chamber of the castle. First years fought in the corner as they spat tickling spells toward each other. "Demonic fools!" Draco yawned as he pointed his wand towards the two. Both feel towards the ground as if they were stone. Walking past them, he said-"Learn a real spell that matters. Don't waist it on your ickle games." Kneeing down, he took their wands out of their rock like grips. Cracking them in half Draco let the peices fall at his side, as he walked towards the fire sitting area. A tall back leather chair was empty, as Draco walked towards it and sat. He knew it was going to be a boring night.

Maddie was still reading when, she heard talking, which was a little odd, because nobody was really talking, except for the first years who were practicing spells over in that one corner. So, every now and then, she would hear spells being muttered. But, suddenly, after a few words were spoken, they were silent. "That's... weird..." she said to herself.
She looked around and found the first years, all staring at one another, sort of, in shock. She then turned to her right. There was a black leather chair, that usually no one, not even her sat in. No one really knew why... they just didn't... sit there... I guess. Well, anyway there was a boy sitting in it.
She eyed him carefully. Definalty older than her, but how much, she didn't know, and a Slytherin... duh! She stared at him closely, and finally reconized him. He was the Slytherin God, Draco Malfoy. Actually, it wasn't that hard to find out, everyone in Slytherin knew who he was, well, except all the stupid people who didn't keep up on gossip, or were just blind or deaf. Actually, she really didn't care that much.
"Umm... hi..." she said, in a mix between an awkward, and a don't really care voice.

Holding his want tight in his right hand, he shot spells into the fire. The colors changed from black, to red, to blue, to orange, to green, to purple, to white, then back to normal mixed flame. Draco yawned as he still seemed a bit tired. Guessing, it wasn't the night yet, Draco didnt think it was manditory to fall back asleep. Well, maybe another nap wouldn't hurt. Crossing his arms at his chest, with his wand still held tight, he closed his cold blue eyes. Seeing black for a moment, a voice spoke as if it was directed towards him.
He didn't hear any direct comand, but he still did not recognize the girl's voice. Opeing his eyes up again. A girl sitting not too far away seemed to be the one who addressed him. He had no idea who she was. She was quite younger than him. Seeing as if this girl wanted to start a conversation a mere 'hi' would not cut it. "Yes?" he said in an annoyed fashion as he tapped his finger on his shoulder. His blue eyes focused on her as he waited for a reply. This girl wanted a conversation- she better have something to talk about.

She went back to reading, after she had said hi. Actually her book was like extremely boring! It was for Muggle Studies and she had to read it for a report they were writing. The book was called: "Cinderella: A Disney Classic". And, to put the cherry on top it says: "For Ages 5+". ((I'm using sarcasm here.))
"God," Maddie muttered to herself. "How old do they think we are? I mean, it's not like they say, 'Ok, today class, we're gonna learn how to write an essay. Can you say essay?' or 'Aww... are you hungry, you need a nanna."
Just then, he replied to her hi. "Great..." she muttered to herself, again. "I just got myself into a conversation, didn't I?"
"Nothing, really..." she said awkwardly. "I just said hi." she said, again, in an awkward and an "I don't care" voice, and went back to reading. "But, hey, anything's better than reading this retarded book." she thought to herself. "You're a... Malfoy... aren't you?" she asked the boy, although, it was pretty obvious.
((That better for ya?))

(( Yes, Thank you. Plus, No need to write OOC in the middle of a post. I understand how your character would react to such a subject. Plus, if you didn't think I udnerstood, you could of easily posted "Maddie thought sarcasticly." Just a tip for future referance. ))
Draco exhaled as it took the girl awhile to reply. And, when she did- she replied very vaugly. Draco looked down and realised this girl was bored exactly like him. But she picked the wrong person to start a conversation with. Of course, it was a horrible time to talk to Draco directly after he sleeps. Looking up, Draco glanced at the dancing flames in the fire. For a moment he forgot about the girl a few feet away untill she asked if he was a Malfoy.
Looking up, His cold blue eyes shot at her. His eyes narrowed, "Draco Malfoy." He said flatly with a growl. "And you? I don't know any wretched baffoon who would not introduce themself to me first. Of course its common mannors. Pitty Ickle young children these days don't have one shead of it. Damned your families in one instant and didn't even know it." Draco spat as he glared at the girl. "Must be a mudblood lover? All of the youger Slytherins these days are. Softie I presume? Horrid thought when I leave this house you will be left behind to hold this house together. By the time you get older there will be no Slytherin house! Ruin Salazar Slytherin's dreams! Your make his toss in his grave every time you or your friends say his name to enter this common room!" Draco cursed.

"Sorry." she said with amused, wide eyes, as she put her hands up like you would when a cop says, "Put your hands in the air, your under arrest.", and laughing. "Wow," she thought to herself. "It's kind of funny how he gets worked up about nothing."
"Sorry, just asked. Didn't mean to offend you or anything by asking who you are. And, I'm Maddie, Maddie Kenacheak. And, another thing, I am not a mudblood lover. All my friends are pureblood, thank you very much." she said, matter of factly.
"One more question, is it like totally boring down here, or is it just me?"

Draco paused as she hardly reacted to his comments. She stated her name, as he ran it through his head. 'Kenacheak, Kenacheak..? Haven't heard of her. New blood I presume.' He thought as he looked away from her. Obviously her family line wasn't all pure. Draco only knew the best of the pureblood world- her family was not one of them. The simple stated earlier that all of her friends were pure. Not looking at her at this time, Draco begged to differ. She was one of those soft girls. She could be a peach any time she choose untill she goes crying to daddy and he pushes her away. Draco did not what to tolerate this girls persona. She was not worthy of being in the presence of a Malfoy, let alone anyone with so many years older and much more important than she; herself was.
She began to change the subject, as Draco didn't even choose to respond. She might as well be talking to a fall for all he cared. She wasn't worth his time any longer.

Maddie simply raised her eyebrows when she got no response. She had indeed been expecting it. She didn't care, she had already been down for dinner and by this time was finished her book. After all her book was only like ten pages long!
"How the hell am I supposed to write like a twenty page essay on that?" she asked herself, a little too loudly. But, do you think she cared? Not likely.
She figured she would try once more, since there was nothing else to do. "So, what's the answer? Is it boring down here or is it just me? Or, do you think you're too good for me? Wait, don't answer that, I already know the answer. Well, still, what do ya think? Should I wear the blue top or the green one?" she knew she sounded extremely stupid, but hey! She was trying to get his attention. "But, seriously, are you as bored as I am, or, do you enjoy acting stupid in front of younger people. I hope you know, I'm refering to your explosion that you just had when I asked you who you are."
((Yeah, I know it's weird! But, who gives? I'm just a weird person I guess! ;D))

The girl, whom he already forgot her name, was talking to herself. 'psycho' he bluntly thought as he leaned his head back and tryed to fall asleep. Although he didn't expect to sleep for too long. Her loud mouth wouldn't stop running! With his eyes closed, she repeated her previous question to him. Added a comment, Draco merely replied with his eyes still shut, "I am too good for you." he stated flatly as she quickly told him not to answer. Too bad, like he would listen to a girl 3 years younger than himself. She quickly changed the subject to go on about clothes. "Damn annoyance! Shut your mouth! I did not come down here to converse with a dotard dunce!" he flashed as he glared at the toxic vexation across the room.
She wouldnt SHUT UP! Draco was getting ticked off. He were merely annoyed before- now he was about to throw flames. This girl was a simple mudblood lover who had no friends, so she latches onto older students for guidance. Answering her her comment, that he guessed was suppost to get him mad- but was quite 'lack there of'. "Acting stupid, throughly doubtful." Draco spat as he shook his head at her. "At least I am not a sycophant leech." Draco bellowed as he pointed his wand towards her and set the pillows on either side of her on fire. He was annoyed to no end with this girl and noted to himself to never speak to her again. Standing from his seat, he went on his way towards the boy dorms.
(( I had to end this post. It was going no where!))

((Yeah... umm... sorry 'bout that, but I was trying to make a convo! Anyway, I LOVE to talk, therefore do does Maddie. I get the same comments from my RL friends when I don't shut up! ;D))
The old fire trick, eh? Oh well. She simply stood up and put the fire out with her wand, while laughing. She grabbed her book and shoved it into her bag, picked that up too, and turned to face the slightly burned chair. Oh well, if anyone says somethings, she could always blame it on Malfoy. After all, he did do it.
She started to walk off, but suddenly, turned around, and right before he walked all the way up the stairs and was out of sight, she congured and threw a ball of watery mud at the back of his robes. Hey! Two could play that game!
She swung her bag over her shoulder, while laughing again, and said her trademark, "See ya!", loudly enough for everyone in the Common Room could hear, and walked out of the room, as calmy as she had come in.
