Kori was getting really really really bored with this dumb muggle television show that she was trying to get a part in. It was rubbish, stupid, and overly exaggerated. The script lay before her, her part highlighted in neon green, standing out at her, taunting her. Lifting her eyes to meet the fire, she looked back at the script book, then at the fire, then at the script book. Then, without thinking, Kori threw the script book into the fire and watched it burn. Her eyes grew wide when she realized what she had done, "Ooo!" She called as she dove towards the fire and reached her hand in, grabbing at the flaming script. The fire engulfed her hand and she screamed in slight pain before finally pulling the blue packet out and letting it fall onto the rug. It continued to burn, and then it died down. The script was no more.
Tears sprang to her eyes, real ones too, not the fake ones she used to land parts in plays and television shows. Tears that showed frustration and sadness, she cried as she hit her arm against the chair, causing a dramatic scene. What was she going to do?! Now, she defenitely couldn't get the part, without the script she was lost and didn't know what to do. Oh, Pa is gonna laugh and say he told me so, I won't be able to...I have to find a way to fix this. Kori thought, stopping her tantrum only a bit to think of a way to fix the burnt script which was now ashes. She didn't know any spells that could repair the burnt paper, she had no clue what to do. So once again, she let out a cry and laid her head on the chair, sobbing.
People who passed her would probably think her over-dramatic. Well, she was an actress, was she not?! What was she supposed to do? Besides cry and throw a tantrum. Maybe it would get her, her script back. She let out another wailing cry and buried her head deeper into the chair, her tears soaking the green upholstery. She calmed down a bit, her tears flowing silently but, her breathing still irregular. She couldn't hear beyond her own gasps for air so it wasn't in the least bit surprising when she didn't realize someone was there until they spoke.

Jersey lay on her stomach on her neatly made bed. She had her quil in her hand and her defense against the dark arts book sat opened. Jersey was indeed experiencing her daily ennui as she began to twirl her quil around in like a baton in her fingers. With a sigh she looked down at the book and then to the quil, therefore leading to her decision to do it later, when she's actually up for homework. Rolling off of her bed, Jersey laughed as she landed with a hard thud onto the floor. However the laughter faded as she realized she had hit her elbow hard on her night stand somehow when trying to get up from her fall.
Standing upright now, Jersey took off her cloak, since classes had been over for the day, which left her with a long sleeved dark purple shirt on with faded jeans. Throwing her cloak carelessly onto her bed, she smiled and left the room. Feeling a bit of chills as she rounded the common room for something to do, she decided upon sitting at the fire. However, she saw that someone had already occupied that space. As she got closer to see who it was, she saw the person had been crying. Jersey really didn't feel like dealing with a sad person at this moment, and attempted to turn around.
As she turned around, however, she remembered how people always helped her out and let her tell them her problems when she needed it. Therefore, making a u-turn Jersey made her way towards the fire. Approaching the girl, Jersey realized that she had not known who she was, but she knew that she had been a year younger than Jersey was. Looking down at the girl Jersey put on her friendly face that she had only given to Slytherians and spoke, "Hey there, everybody needs somebody, and I'm your girl." Jersey chuckled a bit at her corny hello and then spoke up again, "I'd be happy to listen if you feel like talking." Jersey said as she plunged into the chair next to the girl.

Jack was laying on his bed, thinking about his day. It hadn't been the best of days for him. He just felt tired and grumpy. He had homework to do and he knew it, he just didn't want to do it. With a sigh, he lifted himself off of his bed, forced himself to walk towards the common room. He had left his bag in a chair near the fire. When he reached the fire, however, he saw a sight that he didn't see very often. A girl older than him was in a chair, crying her heart out. Another girl, who looked even older than the first, was trying to comfort the girl who was crying.
Jack stepped forward cautiously, he didn't want to become part of this. But then, if I was sad, I would like someone to comfort me, wouldn't I? Jack thought. He stopped, thinking it over, and then decided to go talk to the girls. He wasn't a social butterfly, that's for sure; he usually gave a smirk to people passing by, but he always had a smile for a fellow Slytherin. He walked forward and sat down in a chair next to the girl who was crying. He was unsure what to say, so he just patted her back, putting on a comforting smile.

Karlie sat by the fire with a beautiful emerald green fender in her lap and a headset connected to her amp. She was becoming quite annoyed with all the people that had a sudden interest in being by the fire. 'Why can't a girl even write a song around here?' she thought as she desperately tried to tune out the growing group.
Finally deciding she could tolerate them no longer she took off her headphones and put Jack (Her fender) on his stand and stood to tell off the loud group. She turned toward them and yelled "WHY IS EVERYO..." but suddenly stopped when she noticed the other girl was crying hysterically. Guilt immediately filled her and she walked over the crying girl, taking a knee beside her. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

Trinity walked down the great hall and towards the Slytherin Common Room, both her hair and robes flowing gracefully behind her. She held her silk book bag firmly in one hand and a small iced coffee in the other. It was another ordinarily boring day for Trinity, nothing notable had happened thus far. She reached the portrait hole and looked up, "Salazar," she said systematically. The portrait swung open and the man upon it smiled, "Thank you, young lady," he said tipping his hat. Trinity smiled a bit, flattered by the portraits unusual kindness.
The common room was quite cool inside and Trinity took advantage of that by wrapping her hair into a bun, pinning it with a beautiful butterfly clip before heading over to a small table next to one of the large glass windows. The cool air of the common room blew across Trinity's neck, she shivered a little before pulling out her books and looking over her potions notes from earlier that morning.
It wasn't until Trinity was in the most in depth part of her essay that she was interrupted by a blubbering noise, coming from a girl who looked slightly older than her. Trinity rolled her eyes at the girl's dramatic sobs, "Could you please keep your mellow dramatic cries to yourself? Some of us are trying to work over here," she huffed angrily. She turned back to her essay hoping that the girl would stop, but was disappointed when she heard yet another cry from the girl. 'That's it!' Trinity thought angrily, slamming her book shut and storming up to the girl. "What seems to be your problem," she growled, "What is so life shaking that you're sobbing like a two year old who lost your bottle?" Trinity glared bitterly at the girl, waiting for her response, even though she knew it was most likely something petty and stupid.
