It was almost midnight and Factor, the wizard club in down town London was rocking. Techno filled the particular dance area where Saski was gracing with her presence. She was forced to be in England for the holiday and was there for making the most of it. She wore a tight strapless black dress that had silver thread mixed in during the weaving so that it shimmered; on her feet were three inch black heels that had two bands, one across her toes and the other went around her ankle.
She was sitting at the bar, her legs crossed and a drink in her hand. She was smiling and laughing, which was a shock since Saski hardly ever did that. She was talking to the bartender, Hank, who was a former classmate of her sister’s. “Porsha? She’s great. She’s married didn’t you know?” she could be heard telling him over the din. Apparently Hank was none the wiser. He touched her hand and Saski gave him a quickly glance before moving her hand and stepping off the bar stool. “I’ll see you later,” she said with a smile over her shoulder as she began to walk around in search of some fun.
She strutted through the crowd. The place had more people than last night. She had been in there nearly ever night since she’d come home, she hated being in the manor with her parents. Grant, her little brother, curse him, he was in Aspen for a month. One of his silly Durmstrang friends had invited him.
She tried to bypass some huge guy with a beer in his hand and ended up bumping into someone herself. “Watch it,” she snapped. If she had spilled her drink she wouldn’t have been happy.

Fiona walked into Factor and looked around. The wizard club seemed to be all right, definitely not what she expected. It seemed to be up to par with her taste. Techno was playing and the dance area was crowded. Fiona wore a dark green thin strapped dress that had black string used to outline the edges of the dress making it stand out. She wore one inch black heels that strapped across the back of her heel so she wouldn't loose them.
Fiona had heard of this place from several friends, but didn't visit London often enough to go, until tonight. She was visiting her uncle for a while and figured since she was here she might as well check the place out. She only wished one of her friends had come with her. She was a quiet person who didn't talk much to her friends, let alone complete strangers. Besides what was she going to do alone at a club? Fiona sighed. She could at least get something to drink before she decided to leave.
Pushing through the crowd toward the bar Fiona overheard bits and pieces of peoples conversations. 'What it must be like to have friends with you,' Fiona thought bitterly. She was almost to the bar when someone ran into her. "Are you blind?" Fiona asked angrily. She was already bitter at the fact she had to come alone to this club and now some blind idiot had run into her. Great! Fiona eyed the girl and she bit her lip. It was Saski Stark a Slytherin 6th year, but not just any Slytherin...she was a Queen. Fiona had been looking up to the Queen's ever since she entered Hogwarts and was hoping when she was in her 6th year to become one. She felt foolish at lashing out at her and quickly apologized for her rudeness. "I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize..." she stuttered.

When the words, “Are you blind?” hit her ears, Saski paused. Her jaw locked and her lips pursed, this girl was going to get it in about ten seconds. Saski was never wrong, not ever and this girl had dared to lash out at her. Was she mad? Saski placed her weight on her left hip, her glace of wine raised in her right as she glared at the girl. However luck was on the young ones side, for Saski recognised her, though that was not her saving grace, it was her quick apology that saved her from Saski’s scathing tongue. “You’re right…you didn’t realise,” Saski said flatly. The Queens of Slytherin demanded respect from everyone Slytherin or not, and to challenge one was always a mistake.
A few seconds later a smirk formed on her face. She loved it when people reacted that way to her, with fearful respect. She eyed the girl again, “You’re Fiona right?” she said before sipping her wine. “You’re in my house. What are you doing here?” she questioned her. She had never seen her there before, Saski knew almost all the people who came to Factor, and Fiona definitely wasn’t one of them. Several of Hogwart’s students made visits to Factor once they were in London, even the Queens paid it a visit. The place had a reputation, good music, wealthy owners and a good bar, what more could you want.

Fiona sighed with relief. She was glad that Saski had accepted her apology for lashing out. Fiona nodded when Saski asked if her name was Fiona. she watched the Queen look her over and ask why she was at Factor. "Some friends told me about the place. I've never been because I'm hardly ever in London, but I've been living here with my uncle for a while so I figured I check it out," Fiona said as she looked around the club.
The music was still blasting and the dance floor was just as crowded. Most people seemed to be having a good time. Fiona took a side step to avoid being run over by somebody. The place was definitely crowded tonight. She wondered if it was always like this. It was crazy, but it was cool. "Is this place always this crowded?" Fiona asked as she stepped back to Saski once the guy had gotten through the crowd. Fiona was hoping no one else would run her over while she was here, it wouldn't be a great first impression if that were to happen.

Kris smiled and finished the dance with a random witch at the club for witches and wizards. The girl took hold of Kris’s shoulders and standing on her tiptoes shouted into his ear: „Owl me! Katherine Eldan.“ Kris smirked at the girl and watched her leave before turning and looking at one of his numerous cousins from Italy. She was partially veela so Kris had decided to bring her here so she could enjoy London. The girl hugged Kris quickly before smiling dazzlingly at him, making Kris mentally thank heavens that her cousins charms didn’t effect him as he placed his arms on her waist as they swayed on the dance-floor for a moment. „I’m going to leave with Brian now, thanks for bringing me,“ Kris’s cousin told him and gave Kris a quick peck on his cheek before turning and sashaying away. Kris’s eyes followed her only to land on a quidditch player at a young team and smirk. Madeline – his cousin – would know how to take care of herself, so Kris turned and started leaving towards the other end of the dance-floor to get himself a drink from the bar.
Arching an eye-brow upon seeing Aden McGrogan – a dorm mate – Kris nodded in greeting and stopped as the blond Aden had been dancing with was sent away and the other boy stepped up to Kris. „Aden, didn’t think I would run into you here,“ Kris told Aden with a curt nod as a greeting having as Kris avoided a girl that danced pass. The dance-floor was too busy for a regular conversation so Kris pointed towards the bar and arched a questionin geye-brow towards Aden, „Care for some refreshment?“
Turning Kris started to make way towards the bar again when he sighted that O’Reilly girl running into someone. A Slytherin Queen as it turned out as the girl turned around. Kris smirked upon sighting it and turned around. „Let’s go and say hello,“ Kris shouted to Aden towards the blasting music before making her way over. „What do you know, you still haven’t learned to not run into other people,“ Kris drawled into Diona’s ear as he reached the girl from behind, recalling their one meeting when they had ran into each other. Smirking rather friendlily at the girl Kris’s eyes travelled to Saski. Who didn’t kmnow the Slytherin Queens? „Stark,“ Kris greeted her calmly with a half-smirk, half-smile playing across his facial features and adding him charm. He didn’t come here usually, but Kris had decided that the club was a fairly decent place. Besides his mood was rather good today unlike the first time he had met Fiona. As for Saski – they had never talked before, even though they had passed each other in the Slytherin common room.

It had been a long time since Aden had hit the club scene, but he managed to slip into the routine quite easily. Aden made it passed the bouncer without to much difficulty. Aden had barely made it through the door before girls began to give him the eye. Aden circled the dance floor and soon spotted a small little number dancing by herself. Aden made his way over to the floor and danced his way over to her. He reached her and she eagerly accepted the invitation. Aden danced for a while and than noticed Kris Graas approach. Aden grinned and sent the girl off. She gave him wink and whispered in his ear "Catch you later." She slipped a piece of paper into his pocket which was no doubt her contact information.
Aden let the paper slip from his mind as he turned to face Kris. Kris pointed toward the bar. Aden nodded. "I must admit it is a surprise to run into you here. It's a small world after all." Aden yelled over the music as he and Kris made their way to the bar. Aden noticed something catch Kris's eye and he glanced over. He spotted Saski, a queen of slytherin, get bumped into by a younger looking girl. Aden nodded and followed Kris over toward them. Aden had never had a real conversation with Saski, but he did know her quite well. With his sister being a queen of Slytherin also, he knew basically every one of them. They had come over to his manor enough times.
Aden smiled at Saski. "Good evening Saski. Pleasure seeing you here." He turned to the younger girl. He couldn't quite place her. She looked familiar. "You seem familiar. Do I know you?" He asked.

Fiona was waiting for Saski's reply when a familiar voice was heard in her ear. Her smile dropped from her face, it was Kris. The last time she had talked with him she had been left in tears...almost. Not something she wanted to remember at this moment especially when she might actually be having a good night. "For your information I didn't run into her. It was the other way around, but I don't mean any disrespect," Fiona added quickly as she looked back up at Saski. She didn't want to be accused of doing the running into when she hadn't done it, but she didn't want Saski to be angry with her.
Fiona looked at Kris. He seemed to be in a better mood than the last time and she was glad. Another boy was with him. She recognized him as Aden. She had heard about him. On the the Slytherin Queens brother. Aden asked about her and Fiona held out her hand. "Fiona O'Reilly. I'm in Slytherin, though a couple years younger than you," she said. She was surprised to be in the midst of older students. She wondered how long it would last.

Saski smirked, “Well your friends have good taste Fiona,” Saski said casually. She didn’t care what had brought her there, it wasn’t in the least any of Saski’s concern. However, she was looking for fun and since her usual band wasn’t available at present, Fiona would do. Perhaps she could teach the girl a thing or two. Saski dreaded what would become of the Queen’s once the present members left the school, there had to be some hope somewhere amongst the mass of Slytherin females.
“This is place,” Saski said with a pause, “is the only place for wizards to party, if your anybody, so yes, it is often like this,” she smirked. Some guy tried to force his way passed Saski, mistake, she glared at him coldly, “Mind where you’re going or you might lose something,” she said snidely as the guy shuffled away. Even at Factor people knew not to get on Saski’s bad side. She sipped her wine again.
Saski watched as a male from her own house took hold of Fiona from behind, she smirked, no man had ever attempted to grab Saski without her knowledge. He looked at her and she looked right back at him. “Graas,” she said pleasantly and added a small smirk, returning his greeting. She knew most Slytherins by name; however she picked who she socialised with carefully. She didn’t Kris Graas, so far they had yet to be properly introduced, so she wasn’t entirely sure where he stood in the scheme of things.
Aden, was greeted more pleasantly that Kris, for Saski new him and was close to his sister Dawn, a fellow Queen of Slytherin. “Aden, pleasure. How are you?” she asked before sipping her wine it. Saski flashed Fiona a look as she professed to Kris that it was Saski who had run into her, but again the girl was fortunate, she made an apologetic remark and Saski decided to let it slide, for the evening was becoming more interesting. “So, what brings you young gents out this evening? Hunting for females?” she joked.

Kris arched an amused eye-brow as Fiona argued that the Slytherin Queen had ran into her. She apologized for those words immediately after that too. Kris had been in a lousy mood upon their first encounter as well as having to deal with personal business, so he didn’t bother to bring old insults out. Especially since they had been thrown so carelessly. Saski greeted Kris back before turning towards Aden. Kris didn’t mind things going this way. With Aden being a Queen’s younger brother, it was only natural. And it gave Kris a moment to step back and evaluate Saski from the side and decide how carefully he should pick his words around her. Not that Kris would ever not control and think through every word he let slip. Bu a moment to figure out Saski’s position exactly was welcomed.
Silence hung over the group for a moment after Saski’s question. Music was still blasting, so it wasn’t really silence either. Kris smiled calmly a moment later and answered in an easy-going tone as nothing else would have fit the moment anyway. “As I just now ran into Aden I don’t know about him. I was showing a cousin around London until she just left with some quidditch player,” turning his head Kris smiled at a girl he knew who reached up and told Kris to save her a dance. Kris shrugged in reply showing he didn’t know if he would dance with the girl later or not and after a momentary pout the girl left again with a smile and a quick kiss blown back to Kris over her shoulder. Turning his head back towards the group Kris just shrugged: “If someone worth the attention and time happens to cross my road, then I wouldn’t mind that either. But not necessarily out for hunting.” A lazy tilt of head and a quick look-over later the compliment slipped from Kris’s lips with ease: “Considering the beauty in front of me I should rather ask which guys heart you are going to break tonight?” Slight turning of his head and a half-smile still curving one of Kris’s lip-corners upward made Fiona part of the conversation as well as Kris stepped to the side so he was standing next to Aden rather than behind the younger girl’s back.

She sipped her wine nonchalantly again, as she waited for a response from either, or both boys. The club was really getting into full swing as the song changed again and a fresh wave of enthusiasm washed through the crowd. Saski could feel the beat move through and her shoulders began to bob slightly. A guy Saski had seen for the past three nights was standing a few feet away watching her, he raised his glass, of what appeared to be brandy or some similar liquid, to her. She tilted her head slightly and raised her glass of wine in response before turning back to the others.
Kris’ reason for being there was he had taken a cousin out, who had ditched him for a quidditch player. Saski was a quidditch player, though she hadn’t played in a bit, she had a few other things going on at the moment, though she missed smashing her club into and bludger and sending it careening for some unsuspecting, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw….it didn’t matter, as long as they were here opponents.
She watched in hidden amusement as some unknown girl approached Kris, and went through the usual silly female antics, including blowing a kiss to him over her shoulder after she had basically been dismissed. At least the boy was selective, Saski thought, some girls would dance and converse with anyone who approached, Saski, on the other hand was very selective in everything. “Well I hope someone worth while comes along for you,” she said after Kris’ statement. “Well, I can’t say for Fiona,” Saski said cheekily, “but I plan to have the best time of my life tonight, and if breaking some poor fellows heart is involved, well that would just be his fault.” She smirked and sipped her wine.

Aden received a better greeting from Saski than Kris did. This was to be expected. Saski probably had heard of Kris, but had never met him. So she was still in her judging phase with him. After the initial greeting Saski asked him and Kris a question of what had brought them to the bar. Before Aden could answer Kris spoke of showing his cousin around London. She apparently had left with a Quidditch player. Aden played Quidditch himself and he was exceptionally good at it. His sister was captain of the Slytherin team, naturally that would mean he'd have his own starting position, but in the game of Quidditch Aden was a 'Jack of all trades' and Dawn liked to keep him in reserve so that he could fill any position that was needed at the present.
Saski gave a reply to Kris and than it was Aden's turn. "I myself have been a bit vacant in the club scene. I thought it would be a nice refreshment to get back into it. Plus, it was time to get out of the house. Sometimes the walls of the Manor and even the outside yard demand for a change of scenery." Aden gave a look around the club and than brought his attention back to the group. "I did not particularly come here to meet or find a girl." He shrugged and smirked. "But if the right moment was to arise, I would not turn down some good company."

Fiona watched as a girl approached Kris and seemed to 'throw her curves' at Kris. She smiled when Kris seemed to dismiss her without a second glance. She was obviously wasting her time, but she didn't seem to know that. Foolish woman, Fiona thought to herself.
Fiona was slightly taken back by Kris's comment about the beauty in front of him. He was definitely in a better mood than he was the first time they met. Saski seemed to be better at handling his comment than Fiona was. After all she was older and probably dealt with those kind of comments all the time.
Fiona looked to Aden as he started to talk about why he was there. She felt slightly awkward at being in the company of such older and well known people. She'd been looking up to some of them ever since she started Hogwarts. Now she was actually in their presence.
Fiona waited for Aden to finish and then added her own comment about finding men. "I wasn't planning on giving any guys the time of day. Perhaps if they were worthy of my time, then maybe I'd allow them to stick around," Fiona answered. She hadn't really thought about going to the club to meet guys. She came just to check it out since her friends seemed to like it so much.
Fiona's attention turned back to the club as the music changed once more. It seemed to have grown smalled in the last few minutes. The music was enticing though and she lightly kept the beat with her hand, on her thigh. She looked back at the group when someone began to speak.

Kris listened calmly to the small-talk being done. Everybody just danced around one topic no one daring – or wanting – to say something more until more was known about the ideas of others. Smirking lazily at the everyone Kris tilted his head: “Sounds like everyone wished for a pleasant company then. However I wish to have a drink, especially since talking in the middle of the dance-floor while we’re not dancing isn’t the very best thing to do,” a half-nod and Kris gracefully took a step back moving around the group. Moving through the dancing crowd with ease Kris made a twirl swaying with a girl who stumbled and attached her arms around his neck. Recognizing a pureblood, Kris twirled with her for a moment, noticing with distaste that the girl was obviously drunk. One sway and twirl later and Kris had tactfully danced out of the girls reach and was moving forward the bar once again.
A careless glance over he drinks the bar offered Kris’s eyes flickered to the bartender who had came over. “A glass of ’98 Merlot,” Kris ordered carelessly slowly arching an eye-brow when the bar-tender shook his head telling there wasn’t any Merlot from that year. “What kind of a sodding place are you if you’re not even stocked properly?” Kris asked icily, “You wouldn’t probably have milk either if I’d want that?” The bar-tender shook his head signalizing the lack of milk. An lazy arch of Kris’s eye-brow as Kris smirked. Placing his right hand with his family heirloom ring on the counter Kris smiled almost sweetly. The ring was recognized and it did give enough authority to Kris. “I want a glass of ’98 Merlot and a glass of milk over at my table in 5 minutes,” Kris ordered before turning and starting to walk towards one of the small round tables with a smirk rising to his lips upon hearing the bartender yelling into the kitchens: “People, we have an emergency. Someone go and get some milk a ’98 Merlot. NOW! I needed them a minute ago!”
Taking a seat at an empty table Kris drummed his fingers onto the table calmly. He didn’t really know how it was achieved but 5 minutes later a waitress approached her table with the two drinks Kris had ordered. After a quick exchange of a few innocent flirting phrases the waitress left again with a 3 galleons tip. Picking up the wine Kris took a calm sip from it as he leaned back in his seat satisfied with people-watching for a moment.

Aden’s response to her question was that he needed a change of pace and scenery, something she could very much agree with, Stark Manor wasn’t exactly a buzz with activity and she was tired of seeing the walls and extensive grounds all the time. This place was her release. “You should never turn down good company Aden, it prevents the rabble from trying to weasel in,” she said with a smirk. Surrounding yourself with the elite kept the less desirable at bay, and that was something Saski loathed…people who didn’t know their place.
Saski laughed at Fiona’s comment. “Well heartbreaker,” she started. “I’ll have to show you the who’s who around here, before you make a mistake and give the wrong guy your time. if there is anything I know, it’s the worthy and unworthy,” she said before sipping her wine. She would take the younger Slytherin under her wing for the night, and perhaps, if she showed some prospect of being able to handle herself, Saski would speak to her when they got back to school. She’d have to see.
Saski watched Kris as he navigated his way around some drunken idiot of a girl and over to the bar. She watched his actions and the reaction of the bartender, obviously Kris was pulling rank over there, and Saski smirked with amusement. She liked people who knew how to establish their authority over others. That was another notch in her good books for him. “Come on Fiona,” she said as she walked over to Kris’ table.
“Still need the company?” she said as she looked down at him.

Fiona smiled as Saski laughed at her comment about if she was looking for a guy. Fiona was eager to be taught by Saski. She respected the Queen's and looked up to them. To be allowed to stay in the company of one for the night, was something Fiona could never turn down. "I'd like to meet those men worthy enough for my company," Fiona said with a sly smile. She would of course never consider them for a relationship, but one night of flirting wouldn't be too bad, if they could handle her fire.
Fiona watched Kris walk toward the bar of the club, though he didn't make it half way before some girl had her arms around his neck. Fiona was disgusted by the action. Obviously the girl didn't know how to control herself. Kris however got out of her grasp and continued to the bar and out of sight. Fiona turned to look at the others to see what they were planning on doing. She was unsure if they were planning to continue after Kris or stay on the dance floor.
Fiona followed after Saski as she weaved in and out of dancers on the floor. They seemed to be heading to the table Kris had just sat down at. She stood next to the table as Saski asked Kris if he wanted company. She watched and waited to see what Kris's response would be.

After Aden had spoke Kris decided he needed a drink and left the group. Aden watched him go for a moment but than turned back to the group in front of him as Saski spoke. Aden smirked slightly at her words about staying in good company to keep the rabble out. He smiled at her. "Oh do not worry about that." He said in a lighthearted tone. "I know all about surrounding myself with the correct people." A glint appeared in his eyes. "Even if" He spoke the word if in a tone that clearly stated he would never ever even think about it. "I felt like hanging out with the rabble. I'm sure a certain, sister of mine, would hex me a thousand times before I could even say 'Quidditch.' "
Aden glanced over at the place he saw Kris last and noticed Kris sitting down at a table. He turned back to Saski and Fiona. "Well, I do believe I will see what Kris is up to. If you'll excuse me." He could tell that Saski was about to take Fiona under her wing for a few private lessons. Aden threw a wink at them. "Enjoy your lessons." He said and than slipped into the crowd. Approaching the bar he ordered himself a drink. He didn't feel like getting too fancy. When he received his drink he moved over to Kris just as Saski and Fiona also approached.
Aden grinned. "Well Kris, it seems you are popular tonight." Aden took a seat at the table and than looked at the gathering.

Kris’s eyes slipped over the dance-floor of the club taking the view in calmly as he took a sip of his wine. A car with a driver was waiting for him in the parking-lot of the club, so Kris would get home later on safely. Not that this one small glass of wine would start disturbing his clear mind. A few moments later Saski and Fiona approached the table he was sitting at while Saski asked if he still needed company. Before Kris had a chance to reply Aden came by as well taking a seat at the table calmly. Smirking at his dorm-mate Kris raised his glass of wine towards him taking a sip before placing it back onto the table next to the glass of milk.
“I’m popular tonight. But I’m not complaining. Worthy company is always welcomed,” Kris answered with a nod, signalizing that Saski and Fiona were welcomed to take a seat as well, “It would be my pleasure.” His lids half-closed once again – it gave him a chance to observe others discreetly while shielding his own thoughts at the same time – Kris observed his company. Not that his emotions or thoughts would have been visible otherwise, but with half-closed lids people often underestimated Kris. Something Kris didn’t mind. It was much easier to hear things one could use if you were thought to be asleep. No, Kris didn’t mind at all if he ever was underestimated. It just gave him an upper hand.

Saski looked at Fiona with a smirk, “Well pay attention then, and you’ll learn something.” Saski hadn’t dated in ages, and with good reason. She was terribly busy, and her attentions were often away from the male sex. Her last interest had been Leland Astor, but nothing had come of that, though she still intended to be good friends with him. His thinking was so much like her own.
Saski looked at Aden with a smirk at his response. “And right she should Aden. We can’t have a McGrogan hanging around with rabble. I would definitely have to back you sister if she hexed you for that,” she teased.
At the table Saski waited for Kris’ response. If he was accepting then she would join him, if not, which was rare, then she could find other amusement. The club was never a lack of that. Saski’s eyes slid to Aden as he said that Kris was popular that night, and then they went back to Kris. Saski nodded her head in courteous thanks, a smirk on her face at Kris’ comment, before she took a seat. She crossed her legs at the knee; her legs were just outside the table. “Thank you,” she said.
Saski sipped the last of her wine; she looked over to the bar, at her sister’s old classmate. She raised her glass and an eyebrow. The bartender smiled and nodded his head and set about making her another drink. “Fiona, if you had to pick one guy to make friends with in this room, other than the good company of Aden and Kris. Who would it be?” this was a test to see how well she knew the social scene and how to work it. It gave Saski an idea of how much she had to show this girl.

Fiona was slightly shocked by Saski's question, but she wasn't going to let it show. Fiona knew how to hold her reactions in and she wasn't afraid to do so. Fiona quietly looked around the room. She wasn't sure who was worthy and who was not. She decided since she didn't know anyone at the club, she would watch each guy in turn. To see if they had the qualities of one worthy enough to be around.
Fiona's eyes came to rest on a guy sitting in the corner of the club. He wasn't acting like an idiot or dancing away. Instead he was sitting, watching the others around the club. He was dressed in black pants and a black button up shirt. Subtle, but still nice. He looked to be enjoying some unknown concoction, but his face was unreadable. Fiona thought that he looked worthy enough. He wasn't making a fool of himself, yet he wasn't outcasting himself either. He just seemed to be watching, taking in the club with all of his senses.
"What about him?" Fiona said with a nod toward the guy in the corner. She looked back at Saski. She wasn't sure if she had made a good choice, but she knew that Saski would know and she would teach her the worthy and the unworthy. Fiona waited diligently for a reply.

Saski sat back, waiting for her new drink and for Fiona to respond. She smirked at Aden and Kris as Fiona scoped out the males present in the club. She could wait for her answer but not forever, Saski didn’t have that great a gift of patience. Saski waved hello to a girl who was walking passed, the girl waved back and made a sign with her hands and then walked on. The girl was Amanda Glaston-Helidge-Clarke…her mother had married a few times and Amanda had a name for each husband. Her brother was a diamond importer in Madagascar and Saski wanted a few pink diamonds brought for her, Amanda was telling her when her brother was returning with Saski’s prize. “Hmm?” Saski said as Fiona made her choice…the wrong one of course. She had a bit to learn indeed. Though Saski might, in the end, find him worth knowing he would not be the guy she would pick first, nor should any girl. “Nope, not him hon,” she said with a cool voice. She watched as the bartender approached with her drink, “Him…” she said with a smirk. “The first person you need to know is the bartender,” she whispered before the bartender was right on top of them.
“Here you go,” he said putting her drink before her and giving a smile before walking away. As soon as he was out of earshot she continued where she left off. “The bartender is always the first you know. Here’s why. One: he can tell who, who is the sleaze that leaves here with a different witch every night and who is the guy about to inherit a million galleons. He also prepares your drinks, and being a bit friendly ensures you get the good stuff, and he doesn’t put anything in it or anyone else do that. He will also go that extra mile if he thinks you might actually be able to help him in the future in some way. I know him, because he was at Hogwarts with my sister, and hopes to get closer to her again through me. I had to break his little heart today…she’s married,” she smirked. “But doing that now is okay…I am his ‘friend’ at least so he thinks. That is lesson one.”
