Ice cream (( Ella))

Alyson kissed Drake on the cheek as he left. He was there to drop of some presents she got from people. Some were from her relitives. Some were from friends. She didn't feel like opening them. she grabbed her purse and left the house.


She walked through the park and waved at some of the people there. She turned the coner on elm and found her self in a busy shopping center. Next to it were some cafe's. She also spotted an ice cream shoppee. She decided on the ice cream and intered. Every thing was fun and perky in there. Even the janitor looked happy. She went up to the conter and order a cookie dough milkshake. She paid for it and went to a table. she also pulled out a book from her bag and began to read it. She was on page 106 when she was inturpteed. " Hi." she said to the girl in front of her.

Elle walked into the store, hair plastered to her sweaty face. It was a mistake to wear jeans, she thought, as she went up to the counter and ordered a strawberry ice cream cone.

Right when she was about to sit down, she noticed Alyson, a fellow Ravenclaw.

"Hey," Elle said, "Mind if I sit?"

Without really waiting for Alyson to answer, she pulled out the red chair and sank into the cushion. Her feet ached from the long walk, and she was practically dying of thirst. Instead of water though, she had decided to order an ice cream to cool her down.

Alyson put down her book. " Yeah sit down.'' Alyson said after Ella sat down. She at a little of her ice cream.


" So what are you up to?" Alyson asked.

Elle smiled at Alyson, showing her dimples, "Well, I'm just walking to a muggle bookstore, Barnes and Noble, but I got really tired and hot, and as you can see, sweaty, so I decided to stop in here and get some ice cream. And then I see you and decide I'm going to sit down and chat for a little bit."

As Elle waited for the other girl's answer, she bent down and put all her sweaty auburn hair into a ponytail, and dabbed the perspiration off her face with a hankerchief which she had brought in her purse.

"Boy is it a hot summer day!" Elle said, "Oh by the way, did you hear about what happened at Diagon? Thank the Lord I wasn't there, but gosh, so many people are hurt. You'd think the Death Eaters would hunt down specific people and not just choose random innocents to injure."

She licked her ice cream a little bit, closing her eyes and savoring the sweet, cold taste.

"Mmmmm..." she said, "I just love strawberry ice cream."
