Sunny weather (( Kadan/ anyone else))

Alyson walked out of the beach house she was staying in. She just finished having breakfast with her aunt and uncle who she was visiting for a week. The said she could visit they’re spot and she thanked them. She walked on the cool sand it didn't yet heat up. She removed her sandals and walked bare foot. The morning breeze blew through her honey-blond hair that she let free. Her long thin cotton skirt flew in the wind to until she stopped infront of a beach blanket.



She sat down and took out her journal. It was leather and really old but she enjoyed writing in it.


Diary,

Being in a new place is really helping me. Though I miss my room. I still believe in finding truth in myself. Who am I? Why am I in such a position? I don't know anything. Please help me.


She looked out into the wide ocean. It stretched out forever. The waves crashed on to the cliff. She felt somebody’s presence behind her. " Stay there. Don't move." She said. She wasn't ready to turn her eyes from the view and face the world.

Kadan pulled on his bright blue swimming trunks and threw on a white tank top. He was going to the beach today. Alyson had invited him to spend some time with her and her friend. He really wasn't a 'beach-bum,' but he figured he would give it a chance. If he hated it, he figured he could find some way to get out of there. Gathering his things, he left a not on the table for his father and left the house.

He took a bus to the lake where Alyson told him to meet them. It was still a little chilly outside as the sun was hidden behind a few small clouds. A bit cold for a day at the beach, he thought. He walked on the rough sand, toward the lake. The beach was almost completely silent except for the few small waves and a couple of noisy birds. He only saw a few people laying out, one he recognized instantly as Alyson.

He approached her quietly, hoping to see what she was doing. He noticed her writing something. Just then her voice rang out, 'Stay there. Don't move.' Kadan had to laugh to himself as she sounded like some drill sergeant giving him orders. He jokingly obeyed and stood upright placing his hand in the salute position. "Aye aye, Captain," he mimicked, and started laughing at his own stupidity.

She smiled at his joke. She knew it was Kadan. She closed the leather bound book. And slipped it into her bag. She got up from her blanket and walk over to him. " Hey you. Its early everyone else is coming later. But since your here you can help me collect seashells. " She said. Her eyes the color of the ocean shined. She knew she was more relaxed and playful than usual. This place really helped.



She was keeping it inside she wasn't going to tell anyone. Her secret only her aunt knew. She walked on the sand and saw a sand dollar she picked it up. This will look cute in my room. She thought as she pocketed it.

Daniel woke up that morning feeling tired and sad because his girlfriend dumped him the day before. he just then remebered that his friend had invited him to the beach and that boosted his mood a little. Daniel got dressed in his swin trunks and a t-shirt and headed down to get breakfast. once Daniel had finished his food he set off for the beach.

Daniel arrived not knowing where Alyson was but started walking an the shoreline. After walking for a few minutes he spotted her on the shore pick up shells with her friend Kadan whom he knew from his wizarding school Hogwarts. He began to walk faster towards them anxious to brighten his mood and shouted, "hey Alyson i'm here."

As Alyson was putting it up she heard a voice behind her. " Hey Alyson I'm here." She turned around to see Daniel. " Hey Danny. You’re early as well. Elle isn't here yet but she's sure to show." She greeted her friend. As she ran to get him she tripped and fell to the sand between to sand dunes. She giggled as she got up. This time she walked over to him. " Daniel this is Kadan a friend of mine. And Kadan this is another friend Daniel." She said pointing at the each of the guys in turn as she introduced them to each other. She was smiling at them and fell into a set of silent giggles. She did things for mysterious reasons and this was something she didn't even know.
" So what do you guys want to do before Elle gets here?" She asked the guys as she walked down to the water.



She reached the water and ran until the tip of her skirt was wet. The water was cold and she liked the way the waves crash against her. She walked out of the water and into the sand and got her feet sand up. She sat down and waited for the two guys.

Elle Elwin walked out of her house, saying a quick farewell to her younger sister, Katie, and her parents. Today, she was going to be spending a day at the beach with Alyson. She just loved the beach, with a capital L. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, she began walking to the bus stop in her red and pink, flowery flipflops.

A breeze blew her back-from-beach waves of her auburn hair around, creating a carefree, laid-back beach look. Elle was quite satisfied with her new cherry-patterned triangle top bikini, which she wore under a pink tube top and a pair of pink lifeguard shorts. Around her ankle was a friendship anklet she and her friends had made at her eleventh birthday party, the one she had before she received the letter to Hogwarts.

After boarding the bus, Elle chose to sit in a seat in the middle, conversing with an elderly woman, who seemed to have a liking for pickles. Once it reached the stop closest to the beach Alyson was waiting for her at, she got off and walked the half-block required to get onto the beach front.

Noting that it was kind of a cold day for the beach, Elle knew she wasn't going to find too many people, and it would be easy for her to spot Alyson. No matter, she thought. Elle was almost immune to cold water, and often would be the first person to jump into a pool.

After she got near the water, she spotted Alyson. Deciding to come in on a dramatic note, she ran and did several handsprings, finishing off with an aerial flip and landing right in front of the other girl.

"Hey! Let's go swimming!" she said cheerfully. And then, noting Kadan and Daniel, "Hey I'm Elle, 3rd year ravenclaw."

She set down her things, including her beach towel, and began to take her tube top and shorts off. Elle had gotten a nice tan that summer, being in Ireland and learning how to surf with Terra for quite awhile. Then, she dove into the water, and though a shiver ran up her spine, she didn't really care. I'll get used to it soon, she thought.

Then, turning to the others, she yelled, "C'mon! Let's go swimming!"

Daniel waited to see what the others would before going into the water. Once Alyson and kadan started walking toward the water Daniel followed directly after. His first step into the cold water was a rush of cold but once he got deeper and deeper he got used to it.

Once all four of them were chest high in the water Daniel said to Elle," I am in Gryffindor 3rd year. I think I've seen you a couple times at feasts a school, also in a couple of classes." Daniel wondered to himself if he remembered her talking to him ever, he was going to ask her if she had ever worked with him on anything in class but right before he started talking a huge wave hit him and everybody else and the wave caused him to stay under for about 15 seconds in which he was flipping and twisting. He finally stood up for breath.

Once He and the others were together again he got to asking Elle the question.

Alyson was reluctant to step into the water. She was unsure of how she looked in her bathing suit. She smiled a little and slipped of her whit e skirt and blouse. She was wearing a light blue bikini. She quickly hurried into the water. It was cold and she shivered but didn't stop until it covered her waist.


She saw Elle. " Hey, glad your here." She said as a wave pushed her. A thin surfer crashed and the distance and floated by them on his way back. He waved and she waved back. She recognized him as her aunt and uncles neighbor. He was always in the water. As they described him. Her eyes scanned the seashore and spotted her aunt walking with her uncle.


She turned her small attention Spam back to her friends. Three Ravenclaws and one Gryffindor. Nice bunch.

((wow... i go to work for 8 hours, come back, and see that this post went like wildfire... time to catch up ))

Kadan smiled, a little relieved that Alyson was not starring him down with her fiery eyes as she had the last time they conversed. He agreed to her offer of searching for shells, and he began strolling down the shoreline with his eyes focused on the thin strip of debris that the small waves were gently bringing to shore. He found a few worth picking up, and he gave them to Alyson, as he really had no use for them.

Before long, the two were joined by another boy, Daniel- as Alyson introduced him- whom Kadan recognized as a Gryffindor close to his age. "Hi," he said casually as Alyson made her introductions.

Just as Alyson asked what they should do, another of her friends, this time somebody Kadan knew a little better, greeted the trio. He knew the girl as Elle, a third year Raven like Alyson and himself. She was a very amiable girl, and she quickly insisted that they all go swimming. The others didn't seem to protest, so Kadan figured he shouldn't either.

He pulled his tank-top over his head, stuffed it in his bag, and kicked his leather sandals to the side. As he approached the water, his toes were the first to feel the icy sensation caused by the cold lake water. He felt a chill rise up his body, but he ventured farther. Before he knew it, the water was up to his navel, and his lower body was already immune to the cold water as it was mostly numb.

Kadan listened quietly as the others chatted jovially. He figured he could just listen for a while as they seemed to be enjoying themselves. He watched as the sun peeked out from one of the small clouds and he smiled as it slowly warmed his face. Now thats what I'm talking about, he thought. He was not a fan of cold water.

Alyson walked back to the shore. And layed down on her blanket. She reached into her bag and put on her sunglasses. After servel minutes she sat back up. " Guys. Lets play thruth or dare." She said with a mischevious smile which almost always lead to trouble.



She put on her white shirt again and sat down on her towel and waited for the crew. She looked out into the ocean again. She took out her sketch pad. She began to draw the waves smashing up against the rocks. As she drew she heard a voice and it scared her. She screamed and her journal flew in the air. She turned around. " Its you!!" She siad with fake anger before she smiled.


She brushed the sand off and slipped the the sketch pad in the bag. She was practicing her art for school. She enjoyed art but was only good in the dancing and cheering and acting. Theatre arts. She smiled at the thought of her cheers. She was very proud of it.

OOC: You crazy kids! Haha just kidding I'm prolly younger than most of you.

Elle choked and swallowed quite a bit of water, which she noted tasted really gross, as a particularly large wave washed over her. Once she surfaced, she was coughing like crazy. Taking a few deep breaths and spitting out the excess water that was in her mouth, she managed to stop, though still red in the face.

"No, I don't really believe we've met properly," she said, "I'm a 3rd year ravenclaw. Name's Elle."

Turning to Alyson, she said, "I am here. Sorry if I'm a bit late, the stupid alarm clock ran out of batteries. Muggle technology isn't very reliable nowadays, although I must admit I couldn't live without my cell phone." (OOC: she's muggleborn)

Then Elle quickly greeted Kadan. Looking up, she saw the sun finally coming out. Not that it mattered. She had gotten used to the water already, but she knew the others probably didn't like the cold.

When Alyson left and went to the sand, Elle was very reluctant to follow. She liked the water, but seeing that the others had decided to go, she went as well. She was the last one out, and was even more reluctant to go to her towel and dry off. Oh well, we can swim some more later when it's warmer.

Putting her tube top on, Elle noticed that it almost instantly became wet, due to the face that she hadn't properly dried off using her towel. Then, she slipped her shorts back on, which also became wet. Not that she minded. It wasn't really cold or anything. When Alyson suggested a game of truth or dare, Elle agreed.

She approached Alyson, and when she said, "It's You!", Elle replied, "Darn right it's me. Alright, let's play."

" Great." Alson said. " O.k Danny truth or dare?" Alyson said with a smile. She was thinking of her possiblities. Loads of them. She giggled about the idea of surfing a neon pink surf board.



She turned to look at him. " So..." She drew out the word with a giggle.

After being pummeled to the water by a wave, Alyson got out of the water and everybody else followed. Alyson lay down on the warm sand and asked everybody if they wanted to play truth or dare, Daniel agreed. Alyson asked Daniel, "O.k Danny truth or dare?" and Daniel replied,"Dare."

Alyson clapped with pleasure. She knew he was goinng to pick that. He was a Gryffindor for the least. She smiled again. And toke a breath. " O.k Danny. I dare you to embaress your self in public." Alyson said in a total collected voice.



She got up and lead him to the center of the beach. " Here you are. And rember be creative. Were watching." She said as she went back to the blanket.


" Lets see what happens." She said to Elle and Kadan.

Daniel was not suprised at all by tha dare that Alyson had given him. so daniel thought for a minute then said to the other three, " ok i am ready." Daniel then stood up wen t right by one of the big crowds near the street and began to run towards the street and tripped on purpose. since his whole body was covered in water all parts of his body became covered in sand and sand even got in his ears, mouth and nose. Once he stood up most of the crowd was pointing and laughing under there breath.

Daniel began to walk back to the other three and could stil hear laughing behind him. Once back with the three he said to Alyson," Is that good enough for you?" as he spat out sand from his mouth and shook sand out from his ears hair and blew out of his nose.

Glad to be able to retreat from the cold, Kadan pushed through the waist high water and walked back to the shore. He quickly retrieved his towel from his bag and dried himself off. While throwing on his tank-top, he heard Alyson suggest a game of truth or dare. He really wasn't in the mood, but didn't say anything. Not sure why, his temper suddenly wasn't the happiest.

When Alyson asked Dan 'truth or dare' first, Kadan was relieved. He preferred watching to participating, especially today. Dan immediately chose dare, and Alyson seemed delighted. Her dare, simple enough, was that he had to humiliate himself publicly. Not seeming to care much, Dan merely tripped on purpose and stood up covered in sand. Kadan laughed to himself, the stupid things people will do just to please people.

In his bitter mood, he decided that he most likely wouldn't choose dare because he didn't feel like allowing anybody else to order him to do something. Instead, he figured he would chose truth and simply lie if he didn't feel like telling the truth. Sure thats not the point of the game, but he didn't care at the moment.
