Jasmine laid out on the couch in the living room sleeping. She had fallen asleep exhausted from the morning actives. At five o'clock in the morning she woke and went to the stables cleaning out stalls, riding, training Diablo, and other things Ted Henry wanted her to do. Than at ten she visited Dana at the Hosptiale Wing to tell her everything that had happened. Just recently her best friend had been in the attack at Diagon Alley along with many other students. Jeremy, the first child and her older brother, had helped trying to get the giants and Death Eaters away. He was OK but couldn't come back home but continued to work. Jasmine loved her older brother very much. He was very protective of his baby sister and always beat up Shane if he tried to bother her.
The TV than was turned up loudly as the muggle news came on. Jasmine admittedly began to wake groaning from only having an hour sleep. Shane was spending the week at home taking a break from his job in Romania with Dragons. "Must you have it that loud Shane? You woke me up! Some people couldn't sleep in late like you!" Jasmine asked turning over on her side glaring at her older brother. The volume than was turned down, "There happy now?" he said sarcastically just staring blankly at the TV. His long dark hair was getting into his blue eyes and he had a cold look to his face. Jasmine never really liked her brother that much. When they were younger he would chase her trying to make her pull his finger. Snorting at the memories Jasmine sat up straight and looked at the black television before her. "Honestly don't you think your watching to much TV? Your eyeballs look like they pop out of their sockets." Jasmine told him laughing as he rub his eyes. When he didn't respond Jasmine stood up from the couch stretching her mussels out walking into the kitchen.
Natalie Winters was sitting in the kitchen reading a PEOPLE magazine. Walking over to the fridge Jasmine took out a bottle of water and sat down next to her mother. "Your awake now. I don't work today honey. Want to go see a movie?" her mother asked not even looking up from her magazine. Jasmine sighed as her mother wanted to have some quality time with her daughter. Natalie Winters was a muggle and never really understood the wizarding world. She never even been to Diagon Alley, Jasmine father had to take Jasmine school shopping each year. "I was kind of thinking just heading down to the lake and play music. Try to relax. So many things have happened and I just want to clear my mind." she said taking a sip of her water trying not to look at her mothers disappointed face. "Oh..OK. Need a ride? The lake is a mile away and I am free." she said with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. Sighing Jasmine let in and nodded her head. "Fine....Just let me get my things." Jasmine told her walking up the stairs to her room.
Ten minutes later Jasmine walked back down the stairs with her guitar case and a blue shoulder bag on her shoulder. In the bag she had a towel, sunglasses, a wallet, note paper, book, and pens and pencils. Jasmine never went any where without her note book. It contained all of her songs she ever wrote. Shane had always tired to steal it and use it against Jasmine. But Jasmine always hide it in the one place he would never look. A sly smile formed on her face as she saw him take a glance at her. "Don't dare go in my room. Come on Shane you are 19 and should grown out of those things!" Jasmine told him with another one of her sly smiles. Belle was in her room anyways and would chase Shane away if he dared woke her up from her afternoon nap. "Mom! Are you ready?" Jasmine called out staring at her reflection in a mirror by the door. Her long dark brown hair was up in a high pony tail making her hazel eyes stand out more. She wear a purple tank top and jean shorts with her bathing suit under them. If she was at the lake why not take a dip. "MOM!" Jasmine called out again and heard the sound of a honk from the car. Sighing Jasmine swung her shoulder bag more on her shoulder while picking up her guitar case.
The car made a stop in the gravel parking lot. Many girls and boys were around playing chase or swimming. "By mom! Call you when I'm ready!" Jasmine said opening the car door and closing it gently as she walked onto the fresh green grass. Taking a seat on a swinging bench under a oak tree Jasmine set her guitar case down on the ground next to her staring off into the lake. It began to shimmer under the sunlight. It was also so relaxing to just stare and take in everything. But Jasmine felt a little guilty sitting her by herself while Dana was still in bed. Sighing Jasmine took out her guitar and put the strap around her shoulder. Once it was settled she began to strumming the strings. Music began to fill the air just swifting her off into another world.
