Gary laughed but let his older sisters Janey and Shirley drag him to the karaoke stand. He didn’t actually fight them. Gary wasn’t a very good singer, but he was good enough for a karaoke. Or for a camp out singing night with friends.
Shirley picked the song and as music started the three relatives enjoyed themselves while singing it. After finishing the song Janey and Shirley left. Janey for her shift as a waitress that started at 3 PM, Shirley had to go to her book-club session.
Hugging her sisters Gary decided to stick around for a bit more. It was a fun day – somekind of a big mall was doing this festival on the beach, so there was a karaoke stand, stalls, luck-games, live performance later. Gary didn’t care much for the mall, but the active day here in the park fun.
Buying himself a hot dog Gary retreated to a swing to eat in peace. His stomach had been grumbling loudly already. Eating the hot dog Gary smiled at the people bustling around the park. Some were here with families having a picnic, some had game for the festival or fair or whatever it actually was.
Watching as little kids rode a small tour with ponies Gary finished off his hot dog while throwing a little of the bread for birds. Grinning as two birds got into a fight over one piece of bread-crumb, Gary wondered what to do now. Should he stay around for a bit more or should he go home? Pondering over the matter a bit Gary continued throwing small pieces of bread-crumb to birds.
