Dana lowered her head and swam towards the shore with long and powerful strokes. Summer was amazing. So was swimming. And the Mediterranean. Dana’s grandparents had a summer house here, even though only Dana stayed here right now as well as Isabelle – one of their servants – but she was gone most of the time. And even when she was in – she was a rather nice companion. Today Dana would be receiving guests though. Actually only one. A Ravenclaw, two years older than her, but Dana liked her.
Climbing to the sand Dana tied the long flowing skirt – specially made to be worn at the beach over bikinis – around her and pulled her flip-flops on, letting the warm sun dry her. Waving at an acquaintance playing volley-ball Dana longingly walked towards her summer-house. Jogging up the stairs of the three-story house that looked much smaller outside than it actually was, Dana showered quickly and changed into a jeans that had their legs cut off and a white tank-top that left her mid-riff bare. It was summer and she was at the Mediterranean. She would be melting in every other clothing.
Walking to a room where her grand-parents had arranged Caiest’s portkey to arrive, Dana made sure no one would be able to see in and then threw herself onto a couch. Turning the music on Dana grabbed some random magazine Isabelle had left onto the table and started flipping through it. About 10 minutes later Dana heard the familiar sound and looked up just in time to see Caiest appearing from thin air. “Hey, glad you made it. You alright form the tip? Portkeying over the sea always wears me out,” Dana said jumping out happily and engulfing her friends into a quick hug, before stepping back and looking at her, “Hope you prepared to have fun here.”

Caiest was excited. She had recieved an owl from her friend Dana inviting her over to the mediterranean. Caiest had gladly accepted. Any day away from her place was a good day. A day with one of her friends would make it a great day. Especially when it came to visiting her friend in the Mediterranean.
Caiest made sure she was dressed for the heat. Instead of wearing her usual jeans and t-shirt she took one of her pairs of jeans and the legging off until it reached her knees then rolled it up a bit till it was at the desired length. She also put on a red spaghetti strap and pulled her long black hair into two pig tails.
Then without even alerting her keepers as to where she'd be going she took hold of the port key that had been put up for her. Feeling the odd sentsation of being pulled away by her navel she was off. After what seemed like forever she finally landed in a heap on the floor near Dana's feet.
Caiest stood up and dusted herself off. "Sorry about that." She said embaressed that she hadn't landed on her feet. Caiest realized Dana didn't think any worse of her as she gave her a hug. "I'm fine from the trip. Thanks for asking. As for the fun bring it on." She said smiling.

“Good. Are you staying for just today o did your parents allow you to stay for longer?” Dana asked curiously opening the curtains in the room again – Caiest had portkeyd here and there wasn’t much to watch in the room anymore, “and is there something special you want to do now? Go swimming, surfing – I can’t surf though- eating, browsing the resort near by and the stores there, play volley-ball, do something else?”
Dana opened the door and motioned for Caiest to come along, “Let’s head to the kitchen. I don’t like this room here. Kitchen is comfy however and we can decide what we want to do with nice cold drinks. How has your summer been so far anyway?” Noticing a message blinking at the answering machine Dana clicked it to play and delted it without even listening it to the end. Those sales people left advertisments awfully often. It really was getting annoying. Dana just shrug it off and took a jug of icy lemonade form the freezer and held it up towards Caiest while pouring herself a drink, "You want some?"

Caiest laughed as Dana asked if her parents would allow her to stay longer. "Are you kidding me? My parents give me whatever I want. I'm here for as long as you'll have me." She said. She knew it sounded spoiled but it was the truth. Her parents always let her have whatever she wanted. They thought it made up for never being around.
"As for what to do I'll leave the decision making up to you." She said following Dana out of the room and to the kitchen. She paused as Dana clicked the answering machine button and listened to the annoying sales people. They then proceeded to the kitchen where Dana offered her a glass of lemonade. Caiest turned it down. "No thanks I don't like lemonade much I'm all for caffinated beverages."

“Good, then you can contact you parents – or I can ask my grand-parents to contact them, if you want? – and stay for longer. That’s only positive,” Dana smiled contently. Caiest staying over would be fun. At least for her. Hopefully for Caiest too. “What shall we do? What shall we do?” Dana pondered out loud while drinking the lemonade. Waving the class towards the fridge Dana added, “We have ice-tea too. Ice-coffee should be there somewhere as well. Soda’s – I don’t think we have those right now. We can get them at a store later. You hyper was an amusing sight. Luckily I have pictures of it.”
Dana grinned and raising her glass looked at it against light. “It doesn’t taste half that bad actually. It’s cold, cool, refreshing – just a bit too… orange…” Dana raised the glass in salut before emptying the tall glass and putting it into the sink. “Well, no point in staying here. As you didn’t pack for staying longer, why won’t we head to the resort near here? They have a couple little stores. I’m willing to share my clothes with you, if you find something that fits you and you like. Well all clothes beside swimming suits. But I will most certainly NOT share my toothbrush.” Dana waved her hand towards upstairs: “You can go and see my ward-robe if you want to change now or to see what I have in general. Anyway – how does the resort and the stores sound? We can have lunch there as well, because I’m not cooking here in this head. They have wonderful mountains of ice-cream decorated with fruits there. Muggle ice-cream, but tastes good anyway.”
