It was four years since her first Hogwarts letter and her mum was only starting think that maybe magic wasn't so bad. She didn't really talk about it much when she was home, and she had decided that was a big part of it. Her mum didn't want magic to change who her daughter was, so as long as she didn't bring up quidditch, other than how the Hufflepuff team was coming along, and if she forgot to mention tensions and dangers building with whoever He-Who-Should-Not-Be-Named was and whatever war was rumored to be about to break out, her mum really was fine. In fact she finally convinced her mum to let her do things like work one afternoon a week in Hogsmead, and sometimes use the floo network to go to Diagon Alley. That was what she was doing today, only she finished her shopping early and decided to see a bit of London before she went home. She was from Ireland, and normally her mum would never dream of letting her go shopping in another country alone, meaning she couldn't take her time and see some of the muggle world too, but this time was different.
She was walking down the street, not really looking at much, just taking in the scenery, when she felt her bag, containing a new quill, two new rolls of parchment and a biography of the Chasers of the Kenmare Kestrels, the team she secretly wished she could play on herself one day. When she felt her bag stop moving forward with her, she gave it a bit of a tug, and the next think she knew, the paper ripped open and the condense spilled onto the sidewalk. She dropped to her knees, trying to gather things up, then pulled out her wand and pointed it at the bag, just about to do the repairing charm when she caught herself. She was in the muggle world now. Immediately she panicked, muggles weren't suppose to even know she had a wand! She tried to carefully slip it into her pocket, before glancing up to see if anyone had been looking.

Hayden had just walked out of a nearby shop, when she noticed an older girl, had dropped her bag, and it's contents had fallen out, all over the ground. Hayden wasn't with her family today, because her house was only a few blocks away, and her mother and father didn't mind much for her to go wandering around these parts. Anyway, noticing the girl, Hayden rushed over to try to assist her. However, she stopped in her tracks, when she noticed that girl had pulled out a long, wooden stick. Hayden's eyes widened, and instantly, a million questions started spinning around in her head. That was a wand, wasn't it? What if she was just imagining it? Then again, what if she wasn't? What was the girl doing, taking it out in the muggle world like that?
The girl suddenly put her wand away, and Hayden concluded that it was just some stick that the girl had, and Hayden was just taking her imagination too far. So, she continued to hurry over to the girl, to help her pick up her things. Once she had reached the girl, she bent down next to her and said, "Umm... hi. I'm Hayden, do you need help?" Without really waiting for the girl's answer, she began to start picked up a few things, gathering them together, and putting them in a neat pile. "You know," she said. "Umm... you could go into one of the shops nearby, and see if they could give you some tape, to seal the bag up." she said, turning to the girl with a smile.
Hayden continued to help the girl pick up her things, when she came across an interesting looking book. Her curiosity got the better of her, and she began to skim through the book, reading a bit on a few pages. She suddenly looked up at the girl again. "Umm... is this book about, umm... Q-Quidditch?" she asked, dropping her voice down to a whisper at the last part, regretting it a bit. What if this girl was just some muggle? She would probably be in big trouble if she said something like that to a muggle girl, but then again, a muggle would probably have no idea what Quidditch was, and Hayden could simply say that it was an imaginary game that she made up for amusement. But, what if the girl asked her how's it played? What if she told her friends and family about it? What if it got around to of of the muggles?! She would surely be in trouble if the game got around to the muggles. They might even have to quit playing the game in the wizarding world for good! However, what if the girl really was a witch? Now, Hayden was starting to hope for that more than anything, as all of these thoughts and questions came to mind, making her imagination spin wild.

Her eyes grew wide with horror when the girl approached her and tried to help her pick up her things. What if the girl saw her wand, or realized that nothing she had in her bag was normal. Muggles didn't jut carry around parchment and quills. Maybe she could cover that up though, say that it was for a history project, but the book, the book as going to be hard to cover for. She reached for it, but the other girl who said her name was Hayden, got it first. Nokomis bit her lip, thinking that this was why her mum didn't want her to go to London alone, some like this was bound to happy and she didn't know what to do to make it better.
After a moment of Hayden flipping through the pages, she said something...and it surprised Nokomis. "Wait...you know about..." she stopped for a moment and leaned in so she could whisper back to Hayden. " "You know about quidditch?"

The girl had whispered if Hayden had known about Quidditch. Hayden looked at the girl, and shook her head, a small smile spreading across her face. "Yeah, my bro-" she started, but stopped herself. She was about to go into a big conversation about how her older brother, and her mum were both big fans of Quidditch. She knew that she often talked too much, and she didn't want to go into a big conversation or rambeling session about Quidditch in the muggle world. "So, umm... you mean that your a... your a witch too?" she whispered, leaning in, closer to the girl much like the girl had done to Hayden. Now everything was starting to make sense to her and she sighed in releif. She wasn't going crazy! It really must've been a wand! She was glad that she had found another girl like her. Then, all of the questions that had popped into her head when she had asked about the Quidditch book just starting spinning around in her head again. What if the girl really wasn't a witch? If she wasn't, she was surely going to think that Hayden was crazy, or just some physco child. Hayden really doubted that this would go over well.
