"But Mummy! Why must you and Daddy go?! And if you must go then why won't you take me and Janine with you?!" Ingrid Lewis whined slightly as she watched her mother pack a suitcase. Her parents were going to Paris for the weekend and they weren't taking Ingrid or any of the Lewis children with them. The trip was a quality time for Anna and Fred, but Ingrid didn't understand that. The blonde 11 year old girl had her arms wrapped around the bed post, while she was standing on the mattress. Janine, the little mini-Ingrid, was jumping on the bed singing 'I wanna be an airbourne ranger.' Anna examined a dress and bit her lip, before saying; "For the hundredth time, Ing, this is Mummy and Daddy time. No kids allowed. Not in Paris." Ingrid swung around on the bed post and ended up sitting on the edge.
Ingrid sighed and put her chin in her hands while her mother placed the dress in the suitcase, neatly folded. "Please, Mummy?" Ingrid asked again, her blue eyes watering over. She hated when her mother and father went away- leaving Andrea and Mark in charge. Nothing was ever as much fun when they were in charge. Janine stopped jumping and got off the bed, and wrapped her arms around her mothers legs. Anna shook her head again and pulled Janine off her, setting her on the bed; "No! Now, Ingrid I want you to be a good girl while we're gone..." She told her daughter. Ingrid sighed and hopped off the edge of the bed, "Can't we go with you to the airport? Please? Pretty pretty pretty please?" Ingrid compromised. Fred walked in, laughed heartily and swooped Ingrid up into his arms. She laughed and spread out her arms; doing their superman routine.
"O' course you can come with us! Andrea's taking us, so you can ride back with her." Fred smiled with a gleam, and set his daughter down on the bed. Ingrid smiled up at her dad, she always got what she wanted with him. Anna sighed, crossed her arms, and pursed her lips. A sure sign that she was going to give in, there wans't much she could do; especially over something so little. As if on cue, she nodded and clicked the suitcase shut with a 'humph!' She then grabbed the suitcase and left the room with a huff. Ingrid looked to her father, "You think she's mad?" She asked as she hopped on his back. Fred exhaled sharply and nodded, "Oh yeah. Come on, Janine." They left the room and headed towards the car.
--------
"Right, so you have our number at the hotel in case of an emergency, correct?" Anna asked her eldest daughter, Andrea for the millionth time. Andrea rolled her eyes and nodded, before kissing her cheek and saying; "Yes, Mum. Don't worry about us. Go, have a good time. I love you, bye." She hugged her mother real quick. Anna smiled and turned to leave, but was stopped short by the most unexpected thing. "MUMMY!" The little voice of Janine Lewis, was ear shattering. And the pale fragile face was tear streaked. Ingrid looked at her littler sister in awe, never had she heard Janine scream like that. Anna spun around so quickly in surprise she whacked a person with her purse. Janine hopped across the dividing bar and ran to her mother, tears pouring out of her eyes. Ingrid stood stock still, her mouth wide open.
"Oh, darling. It's ok I'll be back, don't worry." Anna said as she knelt down to hug her daughter. Janine continued to cry, and the fly attendent was getting annoyed. Janine rubbed her eyes and looked at her mother, "I love you." She spoke, this time her voice back to being eerily quiet. "I love you too. Call me every night. Bye, darling." Anna kissed Janine's forehead, and then walked back to the door. She turned and waved before boarding. Fred did the same.
"Ok, coffee then ca-"Her phone went off. Ingrid rolled her eyes as she slipped her arm around Janine, comforting her little sister. Andrea smiled apologetically as she answered the cell phone. Ingrid looked at Janine as Andrea walked a little bit off, talking rather furiously into her phone. Ingrid put her finger to her lips and motioned towards the gift shop, "C'mon. We aren't wanted here." She told Janine

Dafydd grabbed his c.d. and ran out to the car where his mum, younger brother Killian, and neighbor were getting ready to pull out of the drive.Opening the door and getting into his neighbor's car, he handed a circular disk to his neighbor, who's name was Abraxis."Pop this in will you?"
As his neighbor put in the c.d in the player, the notes of the band 'Propaghandi' filled the car. For the hour drive, Mrs. Isaac filled in Abraxsis on taking care of Daf and Killian, since he didn't have kids of his own.Killian slept, and Daf worked on some of his 'History Of Magic' coursework assigned over the summer.
Mrs. Isaac was going away for a week on a business trip to Aruba, a Dutch Island in the Caribbean, and felt that as Daf was responsible enough to take care of himself, Killian, who was 3, wasn't.
The boys would be staying in their own house, with occasional checking up from Abraxsis.
After the hour ride the the airport, the car was parked and the luggage taken out. Walking toward the right gate, he heard a high scream come from the closest one. It seemed that a young girl was upset at being parted from her mother.
As what was assumed to be her older sister pulled her into the gift shop, Daf watched. He could have swore he had seen her before. But where?
"I'll be right back" Daf told his mum."No need to hurry, we have about a half hour before my flight leaves."
Walking into the gift shop, Daf pretended to look at a magazine that was on a shelf.

"Janine that wasn't the least bit lady like, screaming like that. I know that it's super hard to leave Mummy and Daddy for a little while, but we absolutley mustn't make a scene about it." Ingrid was scolding her sister calmly as she scanned the toy section of the gift shop. There wasn't anything useful to buy, nor anything that caught Ingrid's eye. So she stopped looking and turned to look at her sister. Janine had the same pale wheat blonde hair as Ingrid and their mother did, she had the same big baby blue eyes, and same sweet innocent smile that had a hidden kiss at the corner. They were both rather petite for their age, and they both looked at least two years younger of their actual age.
"I'm sorry, Ingrid. Mummy was leaving, and I didn't get to say goodbye." Janine whispered. Ingrid sighed and hugged her sister before leading her over towards the magazine rack. She picked up a magazine that had a dog on the cover and flipped it open, "I hope you don't do that when I go to school. That would be tragic. Because you know, I'm not going to be able to see when I got to this special school- only on holidays and things like that." Ingrid explained to her, telling her that when she went to Hogwarts- Janine couldn't scream bloody murder like she had moments before. Janine nodded slowly.
"I know." She whispered. Ingrid smiled and looked at the price of the magazine, 9.99. She then dug into her pocket and pulled out her money. Biting her lip she sighed and turned to the boy standing next to her; "Excuse me, sir, but do you think this is enough for this magazine?" Ingrid asked- holding up the money in her hand. It didn't look near enough, but if it wasn't she would just put the magazine back. She only wanted it for the cover anyway. Ingrid waited patiently for his answer.

((I thought this was the summer after your first year...*sigh* lol. Oh well, thats cool. I'll figure something out.))
Dafs eyes widen as the girl he had been watching came over and asked him if he thought she had enough money to buy a magazine. Looking into her hand, he saw a mix of pennies, quid and...A sickle?
Daf took the sickle and inspected it closer. Its a sickle alright.
Smiling, Daf looked closer at the girls handful of money. There were a few knuts, but that was it.

((Nope. Ingrid is an incoming first year. Hence "Ingrid Lewis (H)1" Sorry.))
"Well...do I?" Ingrid asked in a cheery voice. She wasn't exactly impatient, Ingrid wasn't an impatient girl. She was actually the most patient in the Lewis family. Janine looked around the shop and spotted Andrea speaking to a security guard, while in hysterics. Janine tugged on her sisters shirt and pointed towards the scene. Ingrid shrugged and said; "She'll find us sooner or later."
She then turned back to the boy, and was about to say something when the security guard walked in and walked towards them. Ingrid put the magazine back and shoved her money back in her pockets; "Thanks anyway, gotta skidder!" Ingrid called over her shoulder as she grabbed Janine's hand and dashed out of the gift shop towards somewhere else. She wasn't expecting the boy to follow- but it would make the adventure much more interesting. Ingrid turned a quick left and headed towards the baggage claim.

((HAHA.. I cant imagine anyone chasing someone over a sickle..))
Before Daf answered, the girl said she had to go and grabbed what was assumed to be her sister, and left. Realizing he had one her sickles in his hand, he closed his hand and began to run.
Daf followed her as she rounded the corner. "WAIT! I HAVE YOUR SICKLE!"

Ingrid skidded to a stop and jumped on the moving thing that carried the luggage and pulled Janine on with her. She did this just in time to hear the boy yelling behind her about a sickle. Ingrid sighed and pulled him on the moving thing as he ran by them, "Steedus-lapeedus! Don't you know anything about escaping from the law?!" Ingrid asked him in a mildly harsh tone of voice. As the moving thing took them through a little box, which would be the x-ray machine. Apparently the guards weren't paying attention, because the children came out the other side. Ingrid jumped off, pulling the other two with her, and running towards the hangar.
She pushed back some workers and hopped into a rolling thing that had pillows in it. Janine soon hopped after, and they hid in the pillows- waiting for the security guards to pass. When they had, Ingrid sat up and said; "Now. What is it that was so deeply important for you to chase me down and blow my cover?" She crossed her arms and cocked her head to the right, her eyebrow furrowed and her blue eyes shining with adventure. She wasn't mad, just- Ingrid.

As Dafydd caught up to the girl she pulled him onto the luggage conveyor belt.Running from the law? What have I gotten myself into?
As they came through the x-ray machine and out the side of the building, the girl pulled Daf and her sister out. Pushing through a group of people she jumped into a bin of pillows. The other girl, and eventually Daf jumped in and waited til security had passed.
The girl finally sat up when security was long gone, asking him why she blew his cover."I...you...When I was looking through your money for you..it wasn't just the British currency. There was wizard money in it too."

Ingrid smiled at this boy and climbed out of the bin, she smoothed out her jumper and looked at him. She put her hand out and said stoutly, "I'm Ingrid Lewis, I'm eleven. This is my sister, Janine. She's nine. We're from Mossley. That's a long way away from here. My mummy and daddy just caught a flight to Paris." After she shook his hand, Ingrid pulled out her money again.
"Yes, there's wizard money in here. I don't expect anything less. I don't know how to change it in for regular money, because I got these from Sita. Sita Mehadi is my bestest-best friend. She's a," Ingrid looked around and leaned in to whisper, "witch," her voice back to normal, and she stood up, "too. Anyway- she gave me this money, when we went to the Alley, but I had some left over. I was wondering if you can change it for regular money. I guess you can't though, not if it's a secret, right?" Ingrid raised an eyebrow and shoved her money back in her pocket before turning on her heel and walking off. She stopped though and looked at the boy, "Wanna come? We're going to go exploring. My older sister doesn't want us with her anyway. That's why the guard was chasing us, we ran away from her. Right, Janine?" She fixed her eyes on her younger sister who nodded with big eyes, and looked to the boy. Ingrid's mouth dropped open and she realised her fatal mistake. What if this guy wasn't a wizard? And just had a theory? "Uh ohs..." She whispered.

AS the three climbed out of the bin, the girl, Ingrid, introduced herself and her sister. Ingrid explained how she got the wizard money, and how she didn't know how to change it in for regular money.
As they began to walk, Daf introduced himself. "My names Dafydd Isaac. I'm in Ravenclaw at Hogwarts. I'm assuming you'll be going there? I'm 12. I'm actually here with my neighbor and younger brother Killian, who's three. Do you mind if I go find them and tell them I'm going with you?"

Ingrid's face scrunched up, "You don't look like a Dafydd. I think you're a," Ingrid put her finger to her chin and tapped it three times before saying, "Julian!" Ingrid nodded and looked at Janine, "Julian is better. He looks like a Julian." "Ok. We'll wait for you over at the food courts. We have lots of exploring to do." She told him before grabbing her little sister and running off towards hte food courts. Janine sighed and sat down, her stomache growling. "Ing, my stummys talking." She said as she put her head in her hands. Ingrid giggled and looked around, waiting for Dafydd. ((She won't call him Julian It's just Ingrid and how she remembers names))

Daf watched as Ingrid scrunched up her face and told him he looked like Julian. "Well, you can call me Julian if you want, but I cant promise Ill respond"
As Ingrid and Janine went to the food courts, Daf made his way to find his party. Spotting his mum, he made his way over to her.
"Daf, where have you been?" His mum looked worried."I met this girl who's going to school with me next year. Were going to go exploring, is that OK?"
"Yeah, just be back in 20 minutes OK hun?" Mrs Isaac kissed Daf on the forehead and he left.
Making his way to the food court, he made a quick detour to the washroom.
Dafydd spotted Ingrid and Janine and made his way over to them.

With Janine still complaining about hunger, Ingrid jumped up and met Dafydd half way towards the table. Janine trudged after her- sadly. Ingrid reached Dafydd and skidded to a stop before she collided into him, "Why hello mister! Okay first stop- we go to the storage rooms and get our disguises." Ingrid said with a smile. She grabbed Janine and Dafydd's hand and pulled them towards the storage rooms. "You can't go undercover looking for treasure if you don't have a disguise." She explained with a know-it-all tone of voice.
She pushed on a door, but it was locked- "Leapin' lizards! Don't people trust anyone around here?" Ingrid spoke with that mischevious twinkle in her eyes. She bit her lip and looked around for another room. Ingrid pointed, "There! C'mon!" She ran off again and pushed on another door, this one came wide open. Uniforms for flight attendants, caps, and some confiscated items. Ingrid walked in and pulled a jacket and a cap off a shelf. She put the jacket on, and then put hte cap on her head. "C'mon, Dafydd! You can't not be in disguise, what if the coppers get us?" She bent down to look in the confiscation bin. She found a pair of the skate sthat you can fix to her foot height and put those on ove rher shoes before fixing them to her size. She stood up and looked at Dafydd and Janine.
Janine was wearing a cap and a scarf from the confiscation bin, she also wore a pair of sunglasses and a big huge clown wig. Ingrid smiled at her sister and then looked at Dafydd, "You might think this was stupid, but have a sense of adventure- please Dafydd!!" Ingrid's blue eyes were sparkling with mischief and adventure.

Ingrid got up and headed over toward Dafydd, sister in tow. Stopping just before she ran into him, babbling about disguises.
As the first door they got to didn't open, they moved to a second one.
The room was filled with all sorts of uniforms and confiscated items. The two girls began to put them on as disguises.
Dafydd's eyes widened as he saw the two girls' disguises.
"OK. We want to be disguised, not holding a big neon sign that says 'Look at us' over our heads, which is basically what your doing, more or less. We'll be sure to be caught if you go out looking like this."

Ingrid tilted her head at Dafydd, a bit confused. She laughed and said; "You ever been to this airport before? They have clowns everywhere- someone will just think that we are the children of some clown performer. Don't worry Dafydd. We won't get caught!" She patted his shoulder and skated towards the door before throwing him a hat and a robe, "Put those on. You can't be an orphaned clown child." She put her hands on her hips and waited for him.
She opened the door and peered out into the corridor, clowns were in corners making balloon animals, and security guards were still looking for Janine and Ingrid. THe two Lewis girls had no intention of going back to their sister, though. There was the familiar beep and fuzzy of a walkie-talkie, but Ingrid and Janine ignored that as they left the storage rooms and headed towards the stair case to the basements. Ingrid looked behind her and motioned for Dafydd to follow, before slipping into the stairwell and going downstairs.

Dafydd caught the robe and hat Ingrid threw him. Pausing for a minute, Daf decided to go against his better judgment, and quickly put on the disguise.
Following Ingrid and Janine out the door, they went into a corridor and down some stairs.
As they neared the bottom, the top door swung open and a mans voice could be heard."HEY! YOU THREE! YOUR NOT ALLOWED IN HERE!"
"RUN!" yelled Daf, as he pushed the girls out the bottom door.

Ingrid looked up as a man's voice sounded throughout the corridor. Her mouth opened and she had a spark in her blue eyes. Dafydd pushed them and told them to run, but it was rather hard for her to run considering she was wearing skates. She skated as fast as she could away- which wasn't very fast. The skates echoed off the walls, but there was no way she was going to take the skates off. She adored them way too much to take them off!! She wondered if she was annoying Dafydd with her skates, if she was then she would consider taking them off- but any other reason, there wasn't a chance.
"You kids! Stop there!" The voice yelled again. Ingrid bit her lip and stopped skating to look at Dafydd and Janine. A person who knew her, knows that whenever Ingrid bites her lip- she is thinking up a plan. "We need a distraction. Dafydd I trust you with my sister, don't make me untrust you. I want you to take Janine and head to the roof while I distract grumpy-guss. Ok? Everyone clear on the plan?" She asked, getting very anxious.

"Yeah OK" Daf grabbed Janine's hand and pulled her as he began to run.
Then he stopped."Wait! Ingrid! I don't know how to get to the roof!"
Daf stood in place, trying to decide if he should blindly run around the airport, or wait for Ingrid to say something.

"Good!" Ingrid said before darting off towards the sound of the man. She heard Dafydd call back to her about not knowing where the roof was. Ingrid wasn't worried- Janine knew. Janine dragged Dafydd off towards the staircases that led up wards. She skipped two steps at a time- and made it to the roof access.
Ingrid skated at a leisurely pace, not really caring that she might get caught. Well- at least until she began to distract him. Which was...now!
"Gotta keep One jump ahead of the breadline One swing ahead of the sword I steal only what I can't afford!" Ingrid sang rather loudly, but keeping the tune correct. She loved Aladdin, and she thought the song- above all she could've chosen- was rather fitting for the circumstances. She bent down and took off her skates- throwing them to the side, and running around a corner towards the secuirty guard. The guard was pleasantly plump- and Ingrid smiled mischievously.
"One jump ahead of the lawmen That's all, and that's no joke These guys don't appreciate I'm broke!" She slid in between the guards legs, waving as she continued to slide as he tried to catch her. Ingrid giggled and ran towards the wasrooms but making a quick left turn into the gates area. Her feet were bare and getting hurt from slapping on the stone flooring- but she didn't care; she was on a mission. The guard was catching up to her, so Ingrid hopped over the nearest row of chairs, her skirt getting caught on a stray piece of metal. Ingrid bit her lip as the guard drew closer.
"One jump ahead of the slowpokes One skip ahead of my doom Next time gonna use a nom de plume One jump ahead of the hitmen One hit ahead of the flock I think I'll take a stroll around the block!" Ingrid continued singing, as she did one final tug and her skirt came loose. She continued to run- diving into a nearby crowd of younger students. She pretended to converse with one as the guard walked by- looking completely confused. It was as if she had disappeared into thin air! He walked away and headed back to headquarters. Ingrid exhaled and headed towards the roof access. When she got up there she opened the door and stepped onto the roof, "Security guards can never catch Ingrid!" She said with a triumphant smile.

Dafydd followed behind Janine as she dragged him up some staircases.
What kid knows there way around an airport? Daf gripped Janine's hand as they ran up another set of stairs. Eventually coming to a door, Janine grabbed the knob and twisted it. As the door sprang open, a slight wind came in.
Stepping out onto the roof, a slight rain hit their faces. Dafydd pulled his disguise closer around him as they waited for Ingrid."You don't think she got caught do you?"
Before Janine could answer, Ingrid's voice was heard."So"said Daf as he greeted her, "You girls do this often?"
