Elizabeth was in Hogsmeade searching every window, every shop for her last minute Christmas shopping. She couldn't seem to find what she wanted to give to Jordan. She really wanted to buy an invisibiity cloak for her, but heard they were really hard to find.
Elizabeth went into a promising little shop hoping to find one, but when she asked one of the witches that worked there they almost laughed to death. How rude! thought Elizabeth as she stomped out of the store completley annoyed and angry. She had told Katie to meet her at the Three Broomsticks at 1:00. Elizabeth looked at her watch, it was 12: 50. Elizabeth decided to head over there.
She zig-zagged her way through the crowds, her feet crunching in the thick snow. When she finally got there she bought two butterbeers (one for herself and one for Katie) and sat down at a table by the door and looked impatiently at her watch, it read 1:05. she should've been here five minutes ago!!! thoght Elizabeth bitterly. Elizabeth put her hand under her chin and her other hand was clicking the table with her nails, staring at the door waiting for Katie.

Katie walked within the crowds of thrid years to the Hogsmeade. First year wernt allowed but she needed to get Jordan another present and Liz could help her becuase she was more girly than her. Katie walked down the street with the snow crounching benath her feet. She than hid hereself benath the Gryffindor pride hat and walked into Hogsmeade. "Tis the season to be jolly" Katie sang with the carolers and she smiled and open the door up to the Three Broomsticks to see Liz waiting fot her with butterbear.
Katie walked into the store and sat down at the table with a big sigh. She than looked up at Liz and pushed back her brown hair and took the buterbear and took a sip. "Sorry I am so stressed tis the season and i need to get more presents. So you wonted to see me?" Katie said taking another sip of her butterbear and puting it back down on the table with a big wack. She wasnt in a good mood Chris took all her pranking tools away for pranking stupit Pat. Owe how she hated her now and she slap her across the face. Katie still had the mark and she hated people asking her how it happen.

Elizabeth did not have to sit there very long before Katie showed up. When Katie sat down by Elizabeth, her anger subsided, she could never be mad with Katie for to long. In a buisness like tone she said, "Hello Miss Davenport, I asked you to come here because I needed to give you a gift and I need to look for an invisibility cloak for Jordan seeing as it is almost Christmas." Elizabeth pulled out a long, wrapped package and gave it to Katie. It was a Firebolt, the nicest one in the store. On the tag it said 'to my dear friend Katie, from Liz' Elizabeth knew that Katie wanted to be on the Quidditch team, and the broom would help. "I hope you like it. You can open it right now if you want." said Elizabeth hopefully. "I searched high and low for it."
Elizabeth sat there waiting for Katie to open it. Once she had done that, they could go look for an invisibility cloak.Elizabeth sipped her butterbeer thoughtfully thinking of which stores they could go to.

Katie looked at Liz with her eyes wide in shock she had never heard her say something to her in the tone of voice. Katie giggled and looked at the long gift. What could it be? a really big prank kit? or maybe a stick. As Katie opened it she gasped in shock. Her eyes lit up as she touched the firebolt lightly with her hands. It was the right color and so beautiful. "Oh my gosh Liz this is so beautiful and I have a gift for you as well." Katie said searching her pockets for a Gryffindor colored wraped gift. She smiled and handed it to Liz with a smile. "Open it up." Katie said anisous for her reply to the gift. Katie had gotten her a gold heart shaped locket with diamonds of the letter E on it. Katie had gotten on for Jordan as well and needed to get her sister another gift.

Elizabeth smiled at Katie. She could tell that that was the right gift to give her. Elizabeth looked down at the small package given to her by Katie. Carefully she opened it. It was a gold lock. She looked down upon it her mouth hanging open, her eyes full of tears of joy. "Thankyou so much Katie!!! this is the finest piece of jewlry I have ever seen!!! It's so lovley. Thankyou again." Elizabeth pulled back her hair and clipped the necklace on. It was absolutley beautiful. Elizabeth had never seen anything so beautiful or precious in her life, nor had she owned anything such as that. She looked down at it admireably and then looked up at Katie. "Well shall we go Christmas Shopping? or are we just going to sit around here goggiling at our gifts?" and without a reply from Katie, Elizabeth stood up and headed out the door, Katie at her side.
"Where shall we go first?" asked Elizabeth as she eyed a couple promising stores.
