Its my birthday ((friends))

Brooke woke up early on May the 30th. It was her 14th birthday. Her father was letting her and a couple of friends to sail out on their cruise boat as a present.

She walked over to the mirror and brushed her hair. She put on a demi skirt and thin green top. It looked perfect on her.

She walked down the spirail starecase that lead into the great hall. Inside were doors. she pushed open a polished maghoney one and walked into the dinning room. As she came she heard voices. " No Taylor. Put the presents over on the boat and let her find them." It was her mom's voice. " Fine darling. ovlindsea." said her dad.

" Morning family. I hear the bell who is gonna get that?'' Brooke asked.

Her mom the spliting image of her hurried and opened the door. Brooke could hear her greeting her first guest.

Justin took off his cowboy hat, and scratched his head. He tapped his foot, he didn't know what to get a girl for their birthday. He shrugged, and walked to the counter. He rubbed the back of his head, and put his hat back on. His parents had a lot of muggle money, so he decided to buy an expensive necklace. ( Hopefully she'll like it.) he thought, and handed the cashier the money. The cashier put it in a necklace box and Justin took it from him. He put it in his pocket, and walked back outside. He walked back outside where his brother was waiting. His brother owned a muggle car, and Justin loved to study it. He found that he could fix the car without magic. He grinned as he thought about this, and then his brother drove him to Brooke's neighborhood.

As they pulled up, Justin saw that this was the house. He jumped out, and said " See ya later bro." and walked up to the front door. Before he knocked on the door, he looked up at the sky. he hadn't noticed before, but it was a pretty good day. It was breezy, and sunny. He smiled, and rang the doorbell. As the door opened, he thought that it was Brooke for a moment, then he realized it was her mom. He said " Uhh, hello Mrs. Davis, I'm here for the party." She smiled, and said " Come right in." He walked in, and she led him to the living room. She said " Take a seat, and Brooke shall be out in a minute." Justin shrugged, and sat down, waiting for Brooke. He was a bit nervous, he didn't know whether she would like his present or not.

brooke walked into the living room and saw the guest was Justin. " Hey you made it." She said smiling.

She heard the doorbell rang agian and she walked thourds the door telling him she'll be right back.

Maddie ran out of the store in Diagon Alley, her brown hair blowing in the wind. She was getting something for Brooke at the moment, and she was already running late! 'Why am I always late for everything?!' she thought to herself. Her mother was waiting for her outside the shop, with her usual, long black and green dress and long black robe, with blonde hair that went down to the small of her back, held back in a bun.

"Got it." she said, holding up the small package, when she had stopped in front of her mother. She had gotton her perfume, the newest kind, and most expensive, and popular. She knew it was just a birthday, but since her parents, that meaning her as well were rich, why not use the money, huh? They flew brooms back to their manor, and, since they had no muggle contraptions, Maddie had to walk to Brooke's house, which wasn't that far away from Maddie's.

She arrived, panting and rang the doorbell.

Justin smiled, and said, " Of course I made it, I always come when I say I will, plus, ca'nt leave the pretty hostess all by her lonesome." He winked, then the doorbell rang. He listened to her and said " Alrighty then."

" Oh o.k" Brooke said laughing.

Opening the door again she saw it was her bff Maddie." Yes your here too. Come on in." Brooke said.

Once in the living room Brooke asked her dad to bring in the drinks. " What do ya'll want before we go to the boat?" She asked.

Jack wondered around the stores, wondering what to get his friend Brooke. His father had made him use his own money, which was a lot, and Brooke meant a lot to him, so why not get something expensive? He walked to the jewlery shop and picked out something in two minutes. He was already running a little late for the party. He had chosen to get a necklace that had an emerald on it. He had chosen an emerald since it would match Brooke's eyes. Ingraved on the bueatiful gem was the letters, "there's always room for you" Jack thought it was nice, and he knew Brooke would love it. He put it in the box that came with it and decided not to wrap it since he was already near Brooke's house. He walked to Brooke's house and rang the doorball, hoping from one foot to the other in his anxiesty to get in.

Brooke opened the door and Maddie walked in. She handed Brooke the package and followed her into the living room. 'Great...' Maddie thought to herself. 'A Gryffindor.' Maddie didn't really know what to do, so she just gave him a short, semi-smile and sat down on a couch oppisite from him.

Then Brooke asked what they wanted to do before they went on the boat. "I don't know." said Maddie. "You have any ideas?"

Brooke opened the door for the next arrival. " Hey you!" She said smiling. Taking his hand she lead him inside. " We were getting drinks before heading to the boat. What would you like?" She asked.


Brooke looked at the pile of gifts she smilied. Her father wagged his finger at her. As if saying later. She gave hime a look of disgust. Then he vanished the pile like he did with her other presents.


Her mom walked in and sat down. " Jack this is my mom. My living double." She said. Olny Jack knew what she was talking about.

Maddie saw Brooke and her father argue over the gifts, and, in the end, her father won. Maddie laughed to herself, Brooke didn't always get her way. Maddie also saw Jack come in after Brooke. She knew Jack, a little. Like, she knew his name, and that was about it. But, the bottom line was, he's a Slytherin. That was good.

Carefully, Maddie looked over the couch, careful not to catch the eyes of the Gryffindor, and wave at Jack. Maddie would usually give Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs bad looks and make fun of them, but today, she was going to try to contain herself, I mean, after all it was Brooke's birthday party. But, she really had to wonder why Brooke would even consider a Gryffie her friend.

Then, Brooke's mother sat down and Brooke introduced Jack to her. Maddie didn't need to be introduced, because she already knew both of Brooke's parents. She then said that her mother was her living double, Maddie had no idea what she was talking about, so decided not to ask.

" O.k so for those who don't know what my dad has in store for them let me saw this. We are going on a bewitched boat. Every time I go on it its diffrent. So I know nothing about todays ride. Olny my parents told me that its going to be a suprising experince. With real ghosts , werwolves. Things like that so I hope you brought your wands." Brooke said the party officailly began.

Brooke said that they were all going on an enchanted boat and there was gonna be wearwovles and ghosts and stuff. Then she said that she hoped that everyone had brought their wands. Of course Maddie did! Maddie raised her eybrows at what Brooke said, but didn't say anything.

"So, who else is coming?" she asked Brooke.

" Us kids. I don't remeber who all I invited." Brooke said in a care a less voice.

Brooke said that she forgot all who she invited. Very unorginized, if ya ask Maddie. Oh well, it was Brooke's party so she really didn't care very much. Well, that was a lie, she couldn't help but wonder why she invited a Gryffindor or if she was invited more.

"Umm... Brooke?" asked Maddie. "Can I talk to you? Over there?" she asked, this time in a more serious way and pointing off to a far corner.

Jack was pulled in by Brooke and was introduced to Brooke's mother. He gave her a nod, but didn't really feel like saying anything. He saw a Gryff and Maddie on the couches. The were sitting on the oppisite couch. This might be trouble, Jack thought with amusement. He would try to hold himself back since it was Brooke's birthday. He smiled at the living double part. They did look almost exactly alike. He put his present with the other presents and then sat down next to Maddie.

The thought of the boat made Jack grin; he enjoyed dangerous things. This boat sounded a bit dangerous and yet fun. Jack had of course brought his wand; he never went anywhere without it.

"Sounds like a great boat!" Jack said as he looked around Brooke's house. He was hungry, he hadn't eaten all day. "So..er...are we eating before or after the boat?" Jack asked earnestly, hoping he didn't sound rude.

" You'll have to wait one second Bob is a little slow she." She said with a grin.


Then she walked to the corner with Maddie. " Yeah?" She asked.

Cassandra walked down the street to the house that was looming before her. She didn't know why she had agreed to come to this Ravenclaw's party but she had. Holding the bagged present in her left hand, and her lit wand in her right, she made her way down the dark drive. For a spring day, it was a bit cold outside. She had actually worn a pair of black flared pants and a white top. Her black boots finally trouced their way to the front doorstep, and she ringed the bell. Putting out her wand, a older woman she assumed was Mrs. Davis opened the door and let her in. " Hello Mrs. Davis. Where are the others? I'm so sorry I'm late but I got held up at the castle. I'm taking animagi lessons with Professor McGonogall and it does take up some of my time."

Mrs. Davis smiled at her and led her to a very large hall. Cass felt very odd being in this large room with people she hardly knew. She felt the chained ring burn underneath her shirt. It tended to do that whenever she got nervous. Smiling widely, she waved at Brooke. " Hi Brooke. I apologize for my tardiness. Well, hey, Justin. It's nice to see a fellow Gryffindor here."

Inturpted by her guest arvail she smilied and saw it was Cass. " Hey your here. I see you know Justin. This is Jack and Maddie." She said exited it was time to go to the boat.

[Ashley Hill]

Ashley pressed her head on the window blowing a blond frizzy strand away from her eyes with a look of boredom on her face. "What's wrong kiddo?" Ben Hill said looking at his youngest daughter with confusion. "I don't know this girl very well but Cass said she was going..." Ashley said looking from the window to the present that laid in her lap. "Don't worry Ash I am sure you will have a good time." he told her with reassurance. Rolling her eyes Ashley turned on the car stereo and bobbed her head to the sound of the music.

After a while of being stuck in the car Ashley finally arrived at a large manor that looked owned to people that were very rich. "A rich girl! I thought she was just like us normal." Ashley said looking at her father as he ran his hands through his hair. "Just have a good time Ashley and don't judge people too quickly. Remember you can always call my cell phone to be picked up if anything goes wrong." He said kissing Ashley's forehead and tickling her before heading back toward the car and leaving.

Taking a deep breathe Ashley walked up toward the big doors and rang the door bell once. The sound was so cool! So she rang it again. Smiling Ashley was about to ring it for the third time when the door opened by a young women not even her mothers age. Looking up Ashley tried to smile but it was faint. Clearing her through she began to speak, "I am Ashley Hill. Sorry I was late my dad had to find the right time to get away from the restaurant and my mom was at work and Elina's back at Hogwarts. So here I am. Oh where do I put this gift? It took me hours to wrap and finally it turned out wrong. Hope you cant see what it is. That would spoil everything...." Ashley said about to continue but she was pushed into the rather large living room with only one person who knew. "Hi Brooke and people I don't know expect Cass." Ashley said standing next to Cass and handing her gift to Brooke.

" Hy Ash we were just about to leave." Gladly Brooke said.

Walking to the backyard she saw Bob put on the last plate. She called everyone out to eat.
