Kelsey stared at the pink house she had grown to love. The lace curtains and the weeping willow tree in the font yard. Kelsey stood in front of the gate, holding her Violin Case and trunk. It was definatly cold outside, but Kelsey hadn't been home for almost three years. She took a deep breath and opened the gate.
Dragging her trunk behind her, she walked up the walk way and stood in front of the pink door. She opened the door nob slowly, and stepped inside. The room was, as always, extremely clean- and extremely pink. Kelsey breathed in the smell of Janice's cooking. She entered the kitchen where the smell of Spagetti was in the air and Janice stood over a boiling pot of noodles. Kelsey dropped her trunk and her Violin Case. Janice looked up, surprise in her eyes. When those blue eyes met Kelsey's green eyes they locked. Kelsey saw the tears well up in Janice's eyes and kelsey felt her own tear.
Kelsey couldn't take it anymore and flung her arms around Janice's neck, crying. They stood there sobbing for a while when finally Kelsey let go.
"Hello," she said with a sly smile
"Kelsey, I thought you would never come back!" Janice exclaimed. Kelsey shook her head and she smiled.
"Of course I came back," she said. Janice nodded and grabbed Kelsey's trunk.
After a great dinner of Spagetti: there was a knock at the door and to Kelsey's surprise she found:

Jasmine sat in her saddle and took a deep breathe before entering the ring. It was a cold morning and still snowing but the show still went on. The snow really got to Jasmine and she didn’t wont Midnight tripping. "Number 123 Jasmine Anderson entering the ring on Midnight Light." the announcer said into the microphone and Jasmine click her tongue and urged with her feet for Midnight to enter the ring. As she was in the ring at a trot she posting up moving her body up and down and leaning in slightly. Jasmine pushed her hells down more and she sat back and urged wit her right leg for Midnight to canter. Once she was in a rocking motion she was one with the horse and Jasmine didn’t realize she was in the ring. Jasmine than head for the first jump and leaned forward releasing her hands as her horse soared over the jump without a problem. Jasmine smiled and urged her horse faster as they were almost to a gallop they headed to the last jump. Jasmine held her eyes tight and released her hands and they made it over without a problem. Jasmine than smiled a big smile and she held her hands in the air as she won first place. "First place to Jasmine Anderson on Midnight light....." the accuser went on and Jasmine accepted her ribbon and trophy as she also won over all.
After her victory gallop Jasmine hoped off and walked over towards her trailer and Lena waited with food and her duel bag. "You were great Jasmine here give me Midnight and you get dressed to head to your friends house." Lena said handing Jasmine her new clothes and taking midnight back to the trailer to cool him off and get him nice and clean. Jasmine sighed and walked into the bathroom to change. After ten minutes she came out wearing a long shelved blue shirt with the words Cowgirl and faded out jeans with fake diamonds on the side. Her hair was also up in a pretty bun and she was ready to go to Kelsey house. Jasmine walked up to the car and opened the door and put on her seat belt and turned on the music. The car than started to move and hit the streets to Jasmine friend house.
As they came up to a pink house Lena stopped the car and turned to her daughter. "Now honey I wont you to have fun." Lena said giving her a tiny bag of money. Jasmine smiled and hugged her mother and opened the door with her duffel bag at her side. Jasmine sighed and walked up to the door and knocked on it once and waited patiently for Kelsey to open it up.

Kelsey was shocked, not to mention happy to see her friend Jasmine. She jumped on the balls of her feet and a slight squell escaped from her mouth. She wrapped her arms around Jasmine with a large smile.
"OH MY GOODNESS- you're here!" she said happily. Then it dawned on her, that Kelsey never told Jasmine where she lived. Kelsey looked around puzzled.
"How do you know where I live?" she asked puzzled.
"Um... come in!" she said forgetting her manners.

Jasmine smiled brightly and huged her friend back as well she than pulled away and smiled brightly. She than looked confused and turned her head to the right slightly.
"You asked me to come over this winter break! and I got your address from the the social worker." Jasmine said entering the bright room and puting her dufel bag down. She looked around at the house and looked up at her bestest friend and smiled.
"I havent seen you in the longest time and what do you wont to do?" Jasmine asked smiling brightly at her best friend. They known each other since she was sixth years old when she was droped off at the orphanage. Jasmine than was adopted by Lena and was taking away from her friend but then when she turned eleven and got her letter to Hogwarts she noticed that Kelsey was there too.

Kelsey shook her head, feeling foolish at herself.
"Oh my... I did didn't i!? Oi vey.." she smiled and sat down next to Janice.
"Oh! Janice, this is Jasmine, my best friend since... oh my- um.. we were like 5 right?" Kelsey asked her best friend.

Jasmine smiled at her firend she was such a dumb blonde at times. She than nodded her head at her friend and sat down as well. She put her hands in her lap and looked around at the room. Jasmine thought it was a pretty house more well put together than the farm house she lived in with Lena. Jasmine sighed and turned to her friend. "I just came from my horse show I took first place and won over all." Jasmine said with a proud smile on her face. She than sighed and she remembered her horse and how prefect he was at the show. He jumped over the jumps like a dream and he was a prefect gentlemen due to the fact he was a stallion and he could be hot headed at times.

Kelsey looked at Jasmine with a happy shocked look on her face.
"Oh good job, Jas!" She smiled. Janice stood and checked the food. She reappeared from the Kitchen with a smile.
"Dinner's ready." Kelsey nodded and turned back to Jasmine. With a smile she stood and entered the dinning room.

Jasmine smiled and looked up at her friend as she caleld her by her nick name. She missed people caling her that and she was glad to by with Kelsey.
As dinner was ready Jasmine stood up and walked behind Kelsey into the kitch. Jasmine smiled at Jacine and sat down at the table next to Kelsey. She hadnt eaten all day becuase she was quite nervous about the show she didnt eat at all.
Jasmine plate than was filled with food and she smiled and looked up at Jacine, "Thank you for leting me stay here." Jamie said takng a bite of her food and smiling at Kelsey next to her.

Janice shook her head, a large smile on her lips.
"h ofcourse not! You're always welcome here!" Kelsey smiled and ate her food quietly. For the first time in her life, she may have a good Christmas! She ate slowly. Trying not to draw attention to herself. It was begining to become a habit. Not drawing any attention to herself, staying the back of class, never speaking aloud. She didn't want anyone to see her eyes. The hurt inside them. Her best friends, Amelia and Jordan hadn't talked to her in a long while. She missed them quite a bit. But having Jasmine here was a nice thing.
Kelsey finished her plate and started on a second one. She hadn't ate alot at school, always finishing fast so she could escape into her dorm and write more songs. She hoped no one could sense the sadness inside of her latest songs. She took a deep breath and started on her next plate of Spaggetti.
After Dinner, Janice went into the Living Room and started to watch Television. Kelsey immidiatly grabbed Jasmine's arm and rushed her into her bed room. Not pink like the rest of the house (thank God was all Kelsey would say if anyone asked) but black and rather gothic looking.
