Amelia looked around her dormatory, checking for anything she would want to take with her home. She smiled and took another glance around the room. This was a special trip. Liam was going with her and Jordan to stay with her at her house. She was excited and her father even said he wanted ot meet Liam. Amelia grabbed her winter cloak and put it on, she put her wand in her pocket and sighed happily.
She was to meet Liam in the Common Room then the two of them would meet Jordan in the Great Hall... she smiled at teh thought of seeing her dad again. She couldn't wait.
"Let's go!" she whispered under her breath and walking out of her dorm. She walked down the stairs, her red and black Etnie shoes making soft thuds on the carpeted stairs. She tossed her blonde hair to get it out of her eyes and found herself in the empty Common Room. She was sort of early. Amelia sat on the comfortable couch and waited. There was no fire in the fireplace, only burnt out embers.

It being the first day of Winter Break, Jordan was overly hyper. Her mind set was NO SCHOOL! But, her actions were impecible. She was crying most of the day, saying goodbye to her friends and then packing up some things.By the end of the day, she was back to her hyper self...singing along with her portable c.d. player that was on the edge of going haywire on school grounds. Hopefully, the spell would hold out until she reached the train, she needed music!
Her winter break was going to be active this year. She was going with Amelia, staying for two days with her, then going back to school. She did want to stay with Amelia for the whole break, but she figured she could use the break for some major prank brain storming. Of course, that is if nothing else came her way. Jordan smiled at the thought of this and left the Common Room, her head bobbing to the music that was thrumming throuhg her ears.
She made her way right and then turned left, walking up the stairs she smiled at few Hufflepuff's and made her way to the Gryffindor Common Room. Sure, Amelia had told her to wait at the Great Hall, but she didn't want to. That just meant, more crying and goodbyes, at which Jordan disliked greatly. She wasn't one for sobbing goodbyes. Nope. Never. She was too..chipper.
Jordan smiled to herself as a song came on that only she could skat to. Her head moved from side to side, and she came upon the Fat Lady's portrait. With an acknowleding smile towards the Lady, she set her bags down beside her and continued to "jam" as her brothers called it, to the music flowing through her ears. Her eyes closed, she moved her head in a snake like motion. She didn't mind that people were staring at her, she liked being noticed and she didn't mind one bit that they thought she was weird...because, in truth..she was.
Her hair was pulled swiftly up into two high pony tails on the back of her head, that swirled everytime she walked, and the ends were dyed yellow for that day. Her eyes were sulky brown, and she had actually thought of putting in piercing green contacts, but she figured she shouldn't it might scare Ames' out of her wits. Jordan wasn't sure if it would scare Liam, because she was positive he didn't pay enough attention to her eyes, though Amelia did...this Jordan was sure of.
Jordan continued to sing softly to the music as students walked down the halls, their trunks dragging behind them with Christmas parcels on top. She smiled at the thought of presents, she couldn't wait for Christmas. Jordan laughed lightly at a memory one year. They were in a shopping center, muggle certainly, and Jordan had been excited so she did what she normally did, and said Mazeltov! Of course, her brothers asked her if she was Jewish and she smiled and winked, saying they would never know. Now, Jordan was not indeed Jewish, she just liked their sayings, such as; Mazeltov! and Oi Vey! It was rather entertaining, some people had told her.

As Liam gathered the things he'd be taking with him on Christmas Holiday, he couldn't help but be glad to be leaving the castle and going with Amelia to her home. He packed up his things into his bag and put on his cloak. He checked to make sure that he ahd everything he would need before putting his wand in his pocket.
Liam went down the stairs to the common room, where he saw Amelia waiting for him. When he was standing behind the couch Amelia was sitting in, he said, "So, are you ready? You been waiting long?"

Amelia looked up as Liam entered and smiled, her eyes sparkling. She shook her head when he asked if she had been waiting long.
"Nope, not long at all," she said with another excited smile. She stood and grabbed her trunk and cloak. She turned to the Portrait and sighed.
"Are you ready to go? I sure am... excited too!" she smiled again. Goodness she couldn't stop smiling!

"It's good you haven't been waiting long," Liam replied. "I got ready as quick as I could, I just didn't know what I should bring with me."
"As ready as I'll ever be," Liam said nervously. He followed Amelia to the portrait hole and waited for her to go through.

When Amelia stepped outside the Common Room, she was surprised to see that Jordan was waiting for them outside the Portrait. Amelia tilted her head and looked at Jordan with her famous *What are you doing here* look. She couldn't help but smile, again, and hug her friend.
"I thought we agreed on meeting in the Great Hall!" she said.

Jordan nearly jumped out of her socks when Amelia addressed her. She spun on her heel quickly to face her long time best friend and took off the blasting head phones that were over her ears. She smiled slightly and turned the music down.
"No, dear Ames, you told me to meet you there. I simply didn't listen. Besides, the Common Room was closer then the Great Hall anyway." Jordan answered with a knowing smile. Looking at Liam, she nodded.
"Hey. Ready? Oh, Ames, I can only stay for two days...turns out I'm going to the Moore's for awhile. And there's Katie's mum's funeral to go to too." Jordan added, as she slipped her music off and put it into her shoulderbag.

Amelia shrugged. That was fine. There has been a many Christmases where Jordan didn't stay... besides that meant that Jordan would be around all the time, so maybe there would be apportunities to be alone with Liam.
"Sure, whatever," Amelia said with a smile. She turned to Liam and smiled brightly, her eyes twinkling.
"Let's go!" And with a cheery look on her face she started down the staircase.

"Hey Jordan," Liam said when he saw her waiting outside the portrait of the fat lady. He watched the two of them talk before Amelia said it was time to go.
"Okay, I'm coming," Liam replied. Liam followed Amelia down the steps to the front doors that would lead them to the train.

Jordan shrugged and chased after the two. Once she had caught up to them, which was somewhere outside, she was freezing. She had forgotten her jacket, on purpose though. She didn't exactly think she needed it.
"Jeely kly it's cold." She said as she approached Liam and Amelia. She shuddered and rubbed her hands up and down on her arms, trying to create warmth.

Amelia looked back with a sly smile.
"Well, you should have brought a jacket, huh?" Amelia said trying not to laugh. She turned forward again and decided, with a feeling of simpathy, to give jordan her coat.
"Here," she said, removing her blue leather jacket and putting around Jordan's shoulders.
"And don't give it back," she said, a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Jordan snatched the jacket from Amelia and put it on really fast. The leather warmed her, only slightly though. She scowled as they continued and she wasn't getting any warmer. Slowly, she took the jacket off and handed it to Amelia.
"Here. It doesn't help." Jordan said as she pulled out her own yellow suede jacket and put it on, she flipped her hair out of the collar and sighed as she began to warm up. She sighed with delight and looked at Amelia.
"Suede, is much warmer than leather." She said with a teasing smile and a know it all tone.

Amelia looked at Jordan in her 'I can't believe you think you can talk to me that way' sort of look. She glared for a moment and then turned to look ahead of her. The carraiges were getting much closer. Those Horse-less carraiges were always so mysterious, they interested Amelia more than anything. She smiled at Hagrid off in the distance and walked in between Liam and Jordan.
After a few moments, the three neared the many horse-less carraiges. Amelia found an empty one and entered. She turned to Jorsan and held out her hand.
"Here," she said with a smile.

Jordan shook her head at Amelia and held her hand out.
"No no no, here." Jordan said with a smile that gave away her joke. With a sigh Jordan took Amelia's hand and started to step into the carriages. But there was ice on the foothold and Jordan slipped down onto the ground. She looked up at Amelia with mock shock on her face, and burst out laughing.

Amelia laughed and leaned over, helping her intot he carraige. She smiled at her as she sat down on the velvet seat of the carraige. She looked at Jordan with twinkling eyes and said:
"Clutz" She said with that smile. She giggled slightly and turned to Liam, who was still standing outside in the cold.
"Liam, come on!"

Liam felt the urge to let at a little laugh, but he held it in, trying not to seem mean. Liam began to move toward the carriage when he looked at the front. He did not like the animals that pulled the carriage, and he didn't like the fact that he'd had to seen somebody die, just to see what the creatures looked like. Liam shuddered at the site of the creatures before he turned to Amelia.
"I'm coming, it's just those beasts that pull the carriages are creepy," Liam said as he got in the carriage.

Amelia raised an eyebrow at him. What beasts? She looked at the front of the carraige, through the small window. There wasn't anything there. Once Liam was in the carraige she asked him:
"What are you talking about?" she shook her head, puzzled, "There are no beasts," She turned to Jordan with a hopeless shrug. This was slightly freaky. She sighed and looked at Liam, waiting for a response.

Liam watched th girls look out the window of the carriage. He knew that they thought it was a little odd that he saw something they didn't, but he knew right away that they hadn't seen somebody die. Liam felt a little odd for saying what he did now, but it was to late to take it back.
"Can't you see them? They are right there. I see them, but I guess you can only see them if you've seen somebody die," Liam said quietly. "I just don't remember seeing anybody die." Liam hoped that what he was saying wasn't creeping the girls out. He didn't want to scare anybody.

Amelia felt a stabbing feeling in her stomach as she looked at Liam... was he joking? Or was he serious? She prayed that he was joking.
"Are... you.. I," she stuttered under her breath, "You.. You can see something pulling the carraiges?" she asked shakily.
Oh please, Oh please... please be joking! Amelia thought, closing her eyes and laying her head back on the seat. She then opened her eyes and waited for Liam to answer her worried question.

Liam was still trying to keep his calm as Amelia started to lose hers. He did see the creatures, and know that he shouldn't have said anything else about them than he did already.
Liam listened to Amelia try and get out a question with trouble. He did not want to worry her anymore than he already did, but he did not want to lie. "Yeah, yeah I can see them," Liam said hesitently. "I wish I didn't thought."
