Hendrix listened to Kim intently, she had some of Hermione’s things, they could use that somehow, but it would all depend on what things she had exactly. Hendrix kept her mouth shut till Kim was out of sight, “I agree Melantha, I am in the mood for a bit of fun aren’t you? It seems our little Kimberly is quite the help doesn’t she? I think this can be a very, very good thing.” Hendrix went over to her brother and whispered in his ear, “Get your mind on the plan not on other things beginning with P,” she smirked at him, she had known about his little crush for a while but had not made a big deal of it.

“So ladies and gents, shall we find ourselves a cat and a Ravenclaw?”<br>

Paige watched Kim as she told them about Hermione's things. "Oh, I see. Maybe we can think of a few things to do." she said as she sat up and watched Kim walk away.

After Hendrix spoke out, Paige did also. "Now I understand why she came over. I was confused as ever." Paige saw Melantha stand up and walk toward Natalia. Paige grinned at Hendrix's question. And answered. "I think so." She stood up from the ground and walked toward Natalia. Paige narrowed her eyes as the girl came into better focus. Many throughts went through her mind. 'I wonder if cat's can swim?' Paige sneered and kept walking the green toward the girl and her feline.

Melantha's pace quickened her pace as her eyes narrowed in on the Natalia girl. She was like usual, dragging that stupid cat of hers around. Of course, the cat had more business being at this school than that filthy wretched girl did. Melantha was determined to let her know just how she felt.

Soon she was only a few feet away from the girl, who seemed to be playing with the cat. "You don't belong here little girl!" Melantha hissed as she walked up to her and stood over the girl sneering at her. "This is a school for those who are worthy now tell me, how did you ever get in?" Melantha stared at the girl with a cruel smile on her face, she was planning things that most would never even think about.

Natalia was out enjoying the spring break, she was one of the few students who had decided to stay on over the holidays and she loved the fact that the school was almost empty. Myshka, her cat was walking beside her chasing butterflies and trying to pounce on bugs in the grass. Natalia was trying to get her mind off of the events of the last few weeks, her friends, the ball, classes and then the worse thing of all, the death of one of her schoolmates, Brian Sullivan. Her best friend Katya was back Russia for the holidays, and she was missing her a little bit and Justin and Chris were gone as well.

She was walking near towards the pond, her brown hair done in two braids like Heidi or someone of that sort, she was just having a lot of fun while everyone was away. She was trying not to feel badly about Brian or for his sister Kimberly with whom she was a friend, but it was very hard for her. Kim and Natalia had been friends for some time and she knew that she was taking all of this very hard, she was skulking around school her face always in a frown. Natalia made up her mind that she would find Kim if she was still at school and try to cheer her up a bit, maybe talk about football, one of Kim’s favourite subjects.

Natalia was minding her own business when she noticed a group of students gathered near the wall, she could not tell what house they were from, but she wasn’t bothered by them, the day was too lovely for that. Natalia was trying to move away from the others who were approaching her, she recognised them as Slytherins and that couldn’t be good. She was almost away from them when a girl yelled at her that she didn’t belong there, the girl, a blonde seventh year glared down at her. “What do you mean I don’t belong here? I belong here as much as you do.” Natalia’s face was stony, her cat stood still by her side. Natalia was trying not to show it but she was nervous, there were a lot more of them than they were of her.

Melantha let a small laugh escape her lips as the girl weakly defended herself. "Oh really now, you have just as much right to be here as I do?" she said sarcastically. "I am a pureblood witch, I can trace my heritage all the way back to before there even was a Hogwarts! You on the other hand, I bet a filthy little thing like you doesn't even know who you're ancestors were!" Melantha grinned at the girl, she quite enjoyed picking on the weak and pathetic, and that was precisely what this girl was.

Melantha then looked at the cat that was sitting next to the girl. "You know you really ought to keep that flea bag on a leash! One of these days it might get away from you and it would be oh soooooo sad if it were to have an accident." Melantha had nothing against cats, in fact she had two cats at her mansion. Yet there was just something about this cat that was too much. Perhaps it was the fact that it's owner was filthy, of course the poor cat had no control over the fact that she was dirty. In fact, Melantha actually felt some pity for the cat. "You know" she began, "I feel sorry for your cat, such a nice cat belonging to one so pathetic."

Melantha crossed her arms across her chest as she glared at the girl, waiting for a reaction, but then yet another twisted plot entered her mind. "You know, since I feel so bad for you cat, I think it's time we put it out of it's misery. What do you say? I hear cats have nine lives, how many has your cat wasted? Think he's got enough left to survive a dip in the lake?" Melantha asked with a devilish grin on her face.

Paige walked up to Natalia right after Melantha. With Her arms crossed she stood and looked over Natalia. Hearing Melantha say something out the cat and the lake Paige smiled. Paige started to walk around the girl's still body. "Pathetic girl. No reason why You should be here. This school is for Witches, not poor revolting scum from some mudblood family. Sad how mudbloods invade this school. Personaly I think someone should do something about it. Eh?" Paige stopped as she stood behind her. Her wand by her side she flicked it slightly. Slowly a light blue steam came out of the tip of her wand. Smiling as the cold chill she sent down the girls back slowly creped around her neck. Walking back to her orignal stop in front of the girl she glared at her. She looked down at the little cat by her leg. Smiling, She turned toward the lake, many ideas ran through her head connecting the two together.

Hendrix snaked towards Natalia, she was following Melantha and Paige, this looked like it could be an interesting encounter. She rested her hand on Melantha’s shoulder and placed her head upon it, “Why Melantha was that supposed to be a defence? How pathetic,” she looked at Natalia in disgust. “Why don’t you and the rest of the scum just get the point? You aren’t wanted here. Leave!” Hendrix smiled as Melantha told Natalia how she could trace her heritage back to before there was a Hogwarts, “Tell her Melantha. I bet you are the first witch in your family aren’t you? A mistake of nature.” Hendrix listened as Paige also had a turn at the girl, while she circled her like a vulture ready to devour her. “Here, here Paige,” Hendrix said as Paige told Natalia that someone needed to do something about the mudbloods who were invading the school.

Melantha stood up erect next to Melantha as she began to talk about Natalia’s cat, she looked at it, it was a nice cat she supposed but it belonged to a mudblood and that made it filthy. Hendrix began to formulate a few things in her head, some deliciously terrible things. How devastated would this girl be if something happened to that cat? She smirked. “It is a nice cat, I guess but look at the owner, she pollutes it.” The evil grin that spread across Hendrix’s face when Melantha made her next suggestion was unmistakable. There was a reason Hendrix and Melantha were such good friends, they thought alike. “Indeed Melantha, I think that cat needs a bath. Why don’t we find out if it can survive a dip?”

Hendrix raised her wand, “Mobilarbus!” she said and the little cat rose into the air and Hendrix dangled it above Natalia’s head, “Now what are we going to do? Shall we test this cat’s swimming skills on three?” she smirked.

Natalia looked at the group who surrounded her, the older girl Melantha was still taunting her, and though she hated to admit it she was just the slightest bit nervous. “Yes I have!” Natalia retorted to Melantha’s question. “This school is for teaching magic to witches and wizards and I am a witch, and that gives me the right to be here.” She tried to build up her confidence for this group were like wolves; they could smell fear. “I may not be able to trace my magical heritage back that far but that doesn’t mean a thing. Yes I am the first witch in my family, and I am proud of it,” she told the other girl a particularly foul girl whom she had a run-in with sometime ago, Hendrix was her name. If that was not bad enough another girl began to circle around her, which increased the tension Natalia felt, this was not good and she wished someone would come along right that minute and get her out of this. The other girl said much like the first but she seemed to feel that something had to be done to rid the school of the muggleborns in it. ‘Done about them?’ Natalia thought, concerned by the manner in which it was said.

The subject changed however to Myshka her cat, she looked at her nervously as the girls began to talk about her, and asked how many lives she had and if she could survive a swim. “Leave her alone!!” Natalia screamed at them, “She has nothing to do with you.” She was openly fearful now, the girls had started on her but there was a boy who just stood there and watched, and that seemed worst of all. “I am not pathetic, and neither is my cat. Excuse me,” she said and tried to leave, but could not for they blocked her way. What happened next was like a blur before she could do anything she heard Hendrix shout out “Mobilarbus!” and she watched in horror as Myshka rose into the air, and hovered above her head. Natalia tried to jump to get her but she was just too high, “Put her down!! Put her down, I’m warning you.” Natalia drew her wand, not that it would do her much good against this group, they knew more magic than she did.

Grant walked slowly behind Melantha, Paige and his sister, they were out for blood those three and he enjoyed it. Grant would just stand back for a bit and let them have their fun before he had turn at it. Melantha went first followed by a combination of his sister and Paige, they were wonderful to watch and the girl, Natalia’s comebacks were worse than pathetic but he said nothing and watched. He looked on with satisfaction as the fear began to show on the younger girl’s face, she tried to hide it but it was showing through and that just made things all the better.

Finally it came to it and Hendrix with a quick flick of the wrist and some well-chosen words whisked the girl’s cat into the hair and taunted her with it as it hovered above her head. Grant stepped closer and removed his wand, “Let’s see Hendrix, send it for a dip,” he said maliciously. Natalia threatened Hendrix which made Grant laugh, “Immobilus!!” he said and a flash of light went straight for Natalia, petrifying her instantly. He smirked as the girl stood there unable to move, he stepped forward and knocked her on her forehead, “Just like wood,” he said with a chuckle. He looked at Paige, Melantha and Hendrix, “Well what are you waiting for? Chuck the cat, and then lets have some real fun.” Grant’s words were cold and malevolent, and the glint in his eye sparkled as he spoke.

A Crafty smile appeared on Paige's face as everyone added something to the girl. Paige watched Natalia's eyes. Waiting to see fear or any sence of nervousness. With a slight laugh, Paige listened on how Natalia became defencive about her cat. "Aww poor baby!" in a mocking tone. "You want your pretty little cat back, Dont ya? Aww I feel so sad." Turning her head slightly to Hendrix she rolled her eyes. "You know how to undo a simple petrifying spell, dont you? Pretty sad if you cant." Paige began to laugh.

Slipping her right hand into her pocket, She took out her wand. Pointing it at the cat she said, "Mobilicorpus!" the Cat flew under Paige's power. Smiling at the girl she lowered the cat to Natalia's eye level. "Go on Reach." Her voice exclaimed tauntingly. Without even giving the girl a chance, Paige quicky flicked her wrist toward the lake, about 20-25 yards away. The petrified cat hovered over the lake's water as stiff as a peice of board. "Go Get it!" Paige damanded playfully to the girl standing in front of her.

Melantha laughed as the girl's pathetic defense. Soon she was immobile and her cat was now dangling over the lake. Moving in, Melantha felt the girl's robes until she found her wand. Removing the wand, melantha pointed it at the girl's face. "Wouldn't it be truly pathetic, for one to be hexed by their own wand?" Melantha then rolled Natalia's wand in her fingers and she grinned at her. “Reducto!” she exclaimed and sent a blue light from her wand that hit Natalia and knocked her down to the ground onto her back.

With an evil grin on her face, Melantha walked over to the paralyzed girl and then sat down on the girl’s stomach as she pointed her own wand at her face. “You know, wands aren’t suppose to attack their owners, but apparently that is only true of purebloods like us, not filth like you.

Hendrix watched as Paige took control over Natalia’s cat, she laughed wickedly, “Go for it Paige, teach that cat to swim.” She looked at the screeching feline as it hovered above the water’s surface. Melantha made the next move, she took Natalia’s wand and with a simple spell sent the petrified girl flying onto her back. Hendrix walked over to Natalia as Melantha took a seat on her stomach, her brother followed close behind. “Apparently so Melantha,” she look on the girl’s face was annoying her and she could not help the urge to slap her, so she did.

Hendrix hand connected with Natalia’s face and though the girl made no sound her cheek did turn a bright red; she smiled. “Did that hurt, sweetheart?” she asked tauntingly, and rested her head upon her brother’s shoulder.

Grant walked after his sister as she walked over to Natalia, this was proving to be very eventful, the girl was on her back, immobile and at the mercy of the girls around him, though none of them had any mercy for a mudblood. He stood nearby as Melantha sat on the girl’s stomach and his sister took a turn slapping her across the face, the sound her hand made against Natalia’s skin was almost deafening. She rested her head against his shoulder, “Now sis, play nice with your new toy. That goes for all of you girls,” Grant said wickedly.

Grant left his sister standing and bent over and looked at Natalia, her eyes fixed on the sky, he stared down at her, “Now mudblood, this is where you come to understand your place in this world, at this school…beneath us. Leave this school, do you understand, leave this school. You aren’t wanted and we have only just begun.” She smacked her forehead and then stood next to his sister, who took back her place on his shoulder. “Melantha, have some fun.”

Paige smiled as she watched Natalia fall on her back. Laughing Paige said, "Seriously girl, Your blood is dirty and we have enough dirt around this school." Paige stopped as Grant went on. Listening Paige nodded in agreement. "Of couse, We have only started!" Paige said wickedly, as she inched closer to the girl's lifeless body on the ground. Holding her wand up and leaned over the girl and said, "You are our first. Many will follow after you. You minicule vermin. And all the others who are just... like... you.." she dragged out in a low shallow tone.

Paige leaned over and pulled the Inert body into a sitting position. Making sure she could see what was ahead of her. Standing straight up Paige lightly flicked her wand and said softly, "Night night kitty." As the cat fell from its spot above the lake into the water.

Melantha got up from the girl's stomach but made no effort to avoid stepping on Natalina's hand or her chest as she walked over to join Hendrix while Paige taunted her. While Paige sat the girl up, Melantha eyed the floating cat with cruel intentions. She was however beaten to the punch as Paige sent the cat plunging into the lake. Melantha laughed hysterically as the cat disappeared from site. Her eyes darting back and forth from the lake to Natalia's face. "Well, Paige, so I guess that proves it doesn't it?" she said as she grinned at Natalie. "Apparently cat's really can't swim, I guess I owe you a shot of fire whisky!"

Melantha then turned and took a few steps back towards the castle when she stopped dead in her tracks. Spinning around she looked at the others with a wide smile upon her face. "I just thought of something!" she joyfully said as she quickly walked over to them. "What do you say we throw her into the dark forest! If she really belongs at Hogwarts, she will be saved. However if she is a piece of filth like we all know she is, she'll be devoured by the horrors in the forest!"

Turning around to face Natalia, Melantha's smile quickly faded away as she saw that Natalia was looking right at her. Of course Natalia had no control over that as Paige had sat her up, but still Melantha's blood boiled at the site. "What are YOU looking at you filthy little mudblood!" Melantha screamed as she aggressively brushed past the others and raced up to Natalia. "Filthy little piece of rat dung!" Melantha screamed as she got face to face with the petrified girl. Then pulling her arm back, she swung as hard as she could and slapped Natalia across the face. The POPPING sound reverberated loudly and the force sent Natalina tumbling over onto her side. "Don't feel bad mudblood, you won't be feeling anything in the near future." She then kicked the downed girl as hard as she could in her stomach before returning to the others.

Paige watched as Melantha did her way with Natalia. Laughing she walked up to Natalia's lifeless body sprawled on the lawn. "Its Sad really..." Paige paused and went on. "You are so helpless it almost makes me want to undo the charm." Paige turned to Melantha. "Well the keyword there is 'almost'." Paige laughed as she glared at the girl.

She eyes stayed fixed at Paige's feet, with a wondering look about her. Her expression never changed. Crouchin down almost to Nataila's level, Paige rolled her over so she would be looking right into her eyes. "I know inside you are screaming, and Dear I do wish I could hear you." Narrowing her eyes she added. "It would make this all, So much more fun. I know you want to say something." Paige announced. "So Say something. Make me feel bad. I am not the least bit sad for your Comatose state..... Come'on! SAY SOMETHING!" She demanded at Nataila's body, still under the spell, so it didnt move. "I SAID SAY SOMETHING, YOU WRECHED TROLL!" Paige yelled right into her face. Quickly standing up she kicked the girl right in the stomach. "Im GIVING YOU ROOM TO TALK. HEX ME! PUT AN CURSE ON ME!" Paige yelled in a threatening tone toward Nataila.

Still no answer. Paige was furiated. She wanted a reply. She wanted the girl to get out of the spell by herself. "Any PUREBLOODED.. student could pull themselves out of a simple imobile spell. Seems your not FIT to be in this school." Paige turned her head to Grant and Hendrix behind her. "Just like we all thought, Not Worthy enough to be here." Turning her head back to Nataila she glared. Pulling out her wand she pointed it at the girls head. "FLURRIFIKUS!" She exclaimed as large balls of ice pelted her body.

With a devious smile Paige put her wand away, and the ice balls stopped. Walking toward Melantha, Paige said. "I Agree, Melantha." with a joyous smile. With a flick of her wand Nataila's body rose from the ground. "Care to do the Honors, Melantha? Or shall I?" Paige asked as she glared at the girls body floating limp in the air.

Melantha watched as Paige yelled at the pathetic girl. Grant and Hendrix were both rather quiet and she didn't really know why. Though it didn't really matter either. Soon Paige had finished and she had attacked the girl with dozens of ice balls. Laughing as ice smacked off the girls face, Melantha took out her own wand once more.

"Nah, go ahead Paige, you can dump her in the forest. I'm actually bored with this pathetic thing." She then put her wand back into her pocket, turned back towards the castle and began to walk away, not caring one bit what happened to the girl. "Come on Paige, toss her already, I'm bored." Melantha said as she walked onto the dirt path and approached the castle.

Paige Smiled as Melantha said she could do her way with Nataila. Nodding her head she said, "Nice!" with an excited tone. Paige turned toward the Forbidden Forest and quickly flicked her wand. Nataila's body flew through the air and into the grove of trees. Smiling as she heard something fall through the trees, Paige slipped her wand back into her cloak. Crossing her arms with a smile she said under her breath. "Well Rest in Peices Little Mudblood." Smiling like she just won the Noble Prize she turned around and walked back to the castle.

[Kim Sullivan H4]

Kim ran up the steps to the castle and then darted through a maze of bigger students in the hallways. Of course just about everyone was bigger than Kim. She soon made it back to the Hufflepuff common room where she gave the password and entered. Walking over to a table she opened up her bag which still had some of Hermione's things that she had yet to return. Grabbing two books and a little writing tablet, she retraced her steps and once more headed back outside to the others.

As she walked down the steps, Kim saw off down towards the lake that they others were still outside. They appeared to be playing with some sort of log or tree branch. As she took a few more steps, the one girl sent the log thing flying into the dark forest.

Seeing the others coming her way Kim stopped and waited for them to get to her. "Here you go!" She said quite pleased with herself as she handed the two girls Hermione's two school books, as well as the writing tablet. "Did you guys get bored? Was that why you were playing with that log?" Kim asked as she pointed over to the forest.

While walking back up to the castle the young Hufflepuff came back out. Comming up to Melantha and Paige she handed them school books and a writing tablet. Looking at Melantha, Paige said. "I Have no idea what we can do with school litterateur." Thinking for a second, she went on. "Do you have thing what is prized by her? something that well if it was lost she would be mortified? Maybe a journal, or something that reminds her of home and her family, or even that ragged cat of hers?" Paige asked in a Offhand tone.

With her arms still crossed Paige listened to Kim ask a few questions. Slightly laughing she glanced at Melantha and back at Kim. "Bored? No no. We found something to keep us Busy." Paige turned toward the Dark forest. She fell quiet to see if she could hear anything, anything at all. Kim asked a second question. Without glancing at her she said, "A Log?... Ohh that log." turning back to Kim. "Of course, yes the 'log' was the source of our fun." Paige had a witty grin on her face.
But looking down at the Hufflepuff Paige said, "Right now it is quite dull though. Nothing to do anymore." Paige tapped her fingers on her side in an annoyed way. "I think im going off for now." she Directed toward everyone she was with. Turning toward Kim she said, "If you find anything else, find me later." She gave a respectful nod to her as she glanced at Melantha, Hendrix, and Grant and said "I will talk to you all in the common room later on, I have some things to do at this moment." Walking onto a stone path, she walked up the south side of the castle to the front doors.
