Let the hunt begin!

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

In short time, Bellatrix arrived at the end of the tunnel from Hogsmeade and she emerged in a group of trees by the Hogwarts lake. "Excellent" she said as she crawled out of the tree and eyed the castle. The sun had now completely set leaving the grounds covered in darkness. "Lets go Crabbe" she said as they began running towards the castle. The large wooden doors soon came into sight as the pair ran up the path. Their entrance was blocked however by someone sitting in front of the doors.

Quietly, Bellatrix worked her way up to the doorway using the darkness as cover. When she reached the steps she saw that it was no one significant that blocked them, it was simply old squib Filch. With a high pitched laugh, Bellatrix stepped out of the darkness and slowly climbed the steps. "Still here Filch? I bet you quite enjoy cleaning toilets." Bellatrix was now on the landing with Filch as he turned and attempted to quickly open the doors to escape. "Running away so soon? We've only just begun to catch up!" Aiming her wand, Bellatrix shot a red light from her wand that hit Filch in the back, knocking him unconscious.

Pushing the door open, Bellatrix stepped over Filch's body as if it were a mere twig on the ground and entered the castle foyer. "Crabbe, you stay here and guard the entrance, stun anyone who shows up, we'll kill them all before we leave." Bellatrix then turned and headed towards the stairwell that led to the dungeons. "Besides" she said as she began walking down the stairs. "You're too stupid, you'd probably screw this up just like everything else."

Following Bellatrix throught the tunnel, Crabbe held his wand out just in case anyone was spotted. Walking into the darkness he watched with a grin as Bellatrix hit Filch into an accoma state. Walking after her he didnt hessitate as his husky body trampled the thin man into the floor. Stopping by the door as Bellatrix told him to watch the door he nodded. "Alright." As he watched her walk away. Hearing her remark he didnt care much, after killing that girl he shown himself to the Dark Lord. Finding himself a spot in full darkness he waited to find his next victim.

While in the dark somthing caught Crabbe's eye as he turned and walked toward it. Seeing the thing curled in the corner he pointed his wand at it. A red beam shot out of his wand and hit the object in the shadows. Hearing a sound of pain he walked toward the darkness and found it was Mrs. Norris. "Mange Cat, Dont want you to be attracting attention now do we?" he said as if he was having a conversation with it.

Walking back into the darkness, a spot he was previously stationed, he waited for the next person to walk by, or further instruction what do to.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Bellatrix walked down the spiral stairwell and ended up in the dungeons. Though she hadn't been at Hogwarts in years, she still knew the quickest way to the Slytherin common room. Walking swiftly through the dungeon. As she neared the common room she heard the faint sounds of voices. Stopping she ducked into the shadows and listened closey. It appeared to be several people, students though. With her wand drawn, she walked towards the sound of voices.

Down another flight of stairs she went and soon heard the voices clearly. Walking over to an open door she peered in. There sitting around a potion were three boys. Entering the classroom with her wand aimed at the biggest boy, Bellatrix laughed. "Well what have we here? Three Gryffindors making a potion at this time of night? My my my, dear old Severus would be most displeased, you no doubt do not have permission to be here!" Before any of the boys could do anything, Bellatrix had struck. "Avada Kedavra!" she shrieked and sent a bright green bolt that hit the largest boy in the chest toppling him over his stool and onto the floor.

Walking closer to the other two, one boy drew a wand and sent a weak flippendo spell at her which Bellatrix easily blocked. "Oh my how brave, you are quite the little Gryffindor now aren't you! I've got just the thing for you! Crucio!" A bright light shot from Bellatrix' wand and struck the boy in the head causing him to fall from his stool and begin to twitch violently on the ground.

Bellatrix then turned her attention to the last boy who obviously was a 1st year. "Little Gryffindor, not going to try anything? Fine then, I grow bored of this anyway. Avada Kedavra!" Once more a green light shot from her wand and struck the last boy in the stomach forcing him to slouch down in his stool dead.

Bellatrix then turned to watch the last boy as he lay on the floor in agony. A grin grew over her face as she watched the boy slowly die. "Though I'd like to watch you die, I have other things more important to do tonight" she said as she walked out the door and again continued towards the Slytherin common room.

Standing in the shadows he was unseen to all. A few moments later two twin girls it looked like, walked down the stairs. Smiling he slowly strolled out from his hidding spot and followed them down the small corridor the were walking down. "Late to be out isnt it girls?" He said in a evil tone. The two girls turned around as he quickly said, "Avada Kedavra!" As one girl hit the floor. Her sister pulled out her wand but seemed to afraid to speak. "So sad dear, I was looking for a fight too. Crucio!" he boomed as she fell to the floor and began to twitch.

Watching the girl twist and turn violently he felt his wand trying to excape his grasp. "What the.." he exspelled from his lips as he turned around. An tennage girl stood behind him with her wand pointed it. "Gryffindor I see, Well Dear a simple Expelliarmus spell wont work. Suffer! Crucio!" He exclaimed as she dropped her wand as begain to whine. "Shut Up Will You!" he boomed as he said "Avada Kedavra!"

Turning back to the previous girl he set a spell on, she layed helpless as her body was frozen. Walking back into the darkness he waited for anyone to walk in on his playtime.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Bellatrix soon reached her destination after a brief detour. Giving the password, the statue slid back and into the common room walked Bellatrix. Looking around for a brief moment it appeared as if nothing had changed save for a few new couches and chairs. Walking over to an unsuspecting girl who appeared to be a 1st or 2nd year, Bellatrix snatched her by the collar and spun her around. "Take me to the 7th year's dormitory if you want to live!" Bellatrix hissed with her wand pointed right in the girl's face.

In short time, Bellatrix reached the doorway to the 7th year's dormitory. "Wait here!" she hissed at the little girl who was now crying. "Pathetic" Bellatrix said as she turned to the door, she was quite pleased to be clensing this house. The once great Slytherin house had turned into a house of cry babies and rabble.

Pushing open the door, Bellatrix entered the room and found two girls. One was Charna Wellington who came from a noble family who fully supported the dark lord. The other was Spinnel. One of the targets. "Good evening Miss Wellington, I have business to attend to with this one" Bellatrix said as she pointed her wand at Paige. "I suggest you leave now Miss Wellington, it would be a real pity if an accident were to occur to you."

[Spinnel]

Paige Layed in bed as she heard loud screaming and crying from outside her door. "SHUT UP OUT THERE! PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!" Rolling in bed she cursed under her breath. Seeing a light in her eyes and a older woman talking to Charna. "Who the H..." she stopped as she saw and reconized who she was.

Reaching for her wand on her side table, it was missing. Quickly remembering it was left in her cloak which was all the way acrossed the room. Darting her head toward Bellatrix she growled. "What Are You doing Here? And Why are you In the Slytherin Dorms!?" she stormed as she stepped out of her bed and made a dash for her wand, the only thing that could save her.

[Charna]

It was turning out to be a rathe pleasant night for Charna. She had the privelege of scaring a few first years senseless, before she retreated to her dormitory to procrastinate on the load of homework from her various NEWT classes. Of course, the moment she picked up her Potions textbook, she threw it aside, knowing full well that she would recieve top marks, as she always did when classes were involved. Practically thowing herself onto her bed, Charna flipped open her old favorite philosophical volume - The Trial of Socrates - A Wizard's Perspective, by Thaddeus Wellington. The man just so happened to be Charna's great uncle.

Despite the book's rich appearance, it was rather worn, being one of the first volumes that Charna had been able to read through (after of course she had been taught how to read.) So immersed in this volume, Charna was ignoring her fellow dorm companion. There was a sound of sobbing outside of the dormitory (which should have clued her in to the fact that something was going on outside), though she chose to ignore it as well. Crying was for the weak, and Charna would be sure to give whoever it was a piece of her mind, should they enter the dorm.

Almost in response to Charna's previous thoughts, the door to the seventh year girls' dormitory opened. Her eyes glued to the pages, Charna casually leafed through a few more, not paying any attention as to who had actually entered, until they spoke. Casually, Charna looked up at Bellatrix Lestrange, who had entered their dormitory with her wand drawn. Surprisingly enough, Charna was not all that startled with the Death Eater's arrival.

Before the start of term, Charna had a conversation with her father, in which he had "tipped her off" about something to happen at Hogwarts. Formally, Charna inclined her head to Bellatrix. "Good evening, Mrs. Lestrange," she drawled, swinging her legs over the side of the bed and standing to her full height. "Then I suppose I shall take my leave of you, and continue my reading in the common room," Charna drawled smoothly.

Without another word, Charna swept out of the dormitory, and left her companion to her iminent death. Things were starting to turn around.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Bellatrix watched as Charna left the room, leaving her alone with Paige. The girl who was laying on the bed reached to the table looking for something, perhaps a wand. She then jumped to her feet and ran across the room apparently trying to find a wand. "Oh no you don't! Insidio!" She shrieked and with a shot of blue light, she forced Paige to sit down on the floor. "Now then, because you failed to come meet me with your friend, your friend had to suffer more than she should have. I hope you realize that her fate is entirely your fault."

Bellatrix raised her wand and shot a white light from the end that cause Paige to flip over and smash into headfirst into a dresser. "You stupid girl! Do you really think the dark lord needs YOUR help!?" Again Bellatrix sent a white light and again it sent Paige toppling over this time smashing into the far wall of the dormitory. "Stupid girl! You think you can impress the dark lord by tormenting one mudblood!?" Once more Bellatrix sent a white light that struck Paige in the head causing her to fall backwards and land on the stone floor with a thump. "That was a mistake girl! It will also be your last mistake! Crucio!" A red light burst from her wand and struck Paige in the head causing her to convulse on the floor.

While Paige laid on the floor dying, Bellatrix walked over to the cloak Paige had tried to get to and found her wand. Walking back over to Paige, Bellatrix stood over her with Paige's own wand pointed at her. Grinning at the girl on the floor, Bellatrix laughed. "Now girl, you'll be killed by your own wand! My own wand is far to valuable to be used to kill someone so pathetic like you! Avada Kedavra!" The room was suddenly filled with a bright green light and when it faded, Paige lay on the floor dead. Bellatrix then snapped her wand and threw it on top of Piage's lifeless body. "Two down, two more to go" she said as she left the dormitory and found the quivering little girl once more. "Now, take me to the 6th year girls dormitory!"

Down a short stairway, Bellatrix followed the crying little girl until she stopped at a door. "Wait here!" Bellatrix ordered her guide as she shoved open the door and walked in the room to find three girls. Looking from one girl to the next, she quickly found that not one was that Hendrix girl she was after. She did however find one to be that brat of the Parkinson family. Another was an unimportant girl, the last girl had dark red hair. Bellatrix stared at her for a moment thinking, until it finally hit her, she must be a McGrogan child. "You! McGrogan girl, if you know what is best for you, you'll leave, NOW!"

Bellatrix then turned her attention to the Parkinson brat. "Parkinson! Your family is too good to serve the dark lord!? Long have we waited for the opportunity to pay back your parents for their refusal to serve the dark lord!" Then turning to the third girl who Bellatrix didn't know, she raised her wand at her "Crucio!" she yelled causing the girl to fall to the ground in agony. "See that Parkinson!? Reject your parents, swear loyalty to the dark lord and you will be spared that fate!"

[dawn]

Dawn sat on her bed as she held her wand out levitating a few school books and threw them against the wall. It was late but she wasnt tired. Hearing Crying from outside her door she stood up, ready to yell at the young child, but the 6th year dorm door opened as she saw Bellatrix Lestrange standing there.

Pointing out Pansy, Dawn wasnt sure what to do. She couldnt just sit there. Yelling at Dawn to leave the room she didnt saw a word, nor move. Soon Hendrix was found being tourtured. A look of confusion and worridness fell on Dawn's face. Her Father was a follower of the Dark lord but must not be so close on to know what was happening. Holding out her wand she shuttered. "STUPEFY!" as she saw a beam of red light fly to Bellatrix inthe doorway.

[Pansy Parkinson S7]

Pansy sat on her bed looking at a catalogue of new silk robes. Her punishment was now over and tomorrow she should receive her weekly allowance of 25 galleons. "I hate that allowance crap!" Pansy said as she punched a teddy bear that was laying on her bed. "Stupid rules! How am I supposed to survive on only 25 galleons a week!" As she sat there glaring at her catalogue she heard someone crying outside her door. Suddenly the door burst open and in walked a woman whom Pansy had never seen before. The woman apparently knew her though, and she also knew Dawn.

Pansy gave a confused look over at Dawn when the woman told her to get out. With a scowl on her face, Pansy covertly slid her hand into her robes for her wand as the woman talked to her about her parents. Even though Pansy couldn't stand her parents and their stupid rules, she wasn't about to listen to someone insult them! Before Pansy could pull her wand out to teach this witch a lesson, she had sent an unforgivable curse at one of her dorm mates!

Sitting in stunned silence, Pansy listened to the proposition. "Why should I turn on my family!?" Pansy asked as she watched helpless as her dorm mate was slowly being tortured to death. "My parents refused for a good reason!" Pansy argued, "now get out and leave her alone!" Pansy watched as Dawn drew her wand and shot a red light at the woman, following the lead Pansy pulled her own wand out, "Reducto!" she yelled.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Bellatrix laughed as she watched the girl convulse upon the floor. Much to her delight, the Parkinson brat refused, which meant that Bellatrix could have fun with yet another student! Raising her wand towards Parkinson, she stopped as she heard the McGrogan girl cast a spell, soon followed by Parkinson. "PROTEGO!" Bellatrix yelled and she easily blocked both spells. "Stupid girl!" Bellatrix screamed at the McGrogan girl. Quickly pointing her wand, she sent a bright white flash of that struck the McGrogan girl in the chest and sent her flying backwards headfirst into the stone wall. The girl then fell to the ground motionless.
Turning back to Parkinson, Bellatrix raised her wand "Avada Kedavra!" A green light shot from her wand and hit Pansy, a moment later she laid dead on the floor.

Time was running out now for Bellatrix, she had to find the last two quickly. There was no doubt that the castle would now be crawling with professors looking to hunt her down. Walking out of the dorm she again grabbed the little girl. "6th year boys dormitory, NOW!"

Following the girl, Bellatrix soon arrived at the boys dormitory. With a blast from her wand, she blew apart the door and entered the room. As she walked in she was again disappointed as she saw three boys, none of them were that Grant boy she needed to kill. Instead she stood face to face with three boys she knew far too well. "WHERE IS GRANT!?" Bellatrix screamed as she grabbed Crabbe by the collar and shook him. Yet the boy just like his dad shook his head, was that entire family stupid!? "GOYLE! MALFOY! Where is Grant Night!?" Bellatrix screamed at the other two. Finally the young Malfoy spoke up, stating coolly that Grant was a 7th year not a 6th year.

Bellatrix' face went white with anger, she had been told that Grant and Hendrix were both 6th years, twins! Now she learned that they were in fact 7th years! Her knuckles turned white as she clenched her wand tightly and glared at the three boys. Then without warning, "CRUCIO!" she screamed and hit Crabbe squarely in the face causing the stupid boy to fall the ground writhing in pain. "GOYLE! You see that!? Let that be a lesson to you boy! If your father fails the dark lord like his father has, THAT will be your fate too!"

Bellatrix then turned towards the door and ran out to where the little girl was still crying. "OH SHUT UP!" Bellatrix screamed as she hit the girl with a white light that knocked the girl backwards and down the flight of stairs she tumbled. Looking at her watch, Bellatrix had been inside the castle far too long now, she had to get out now before she was caught. She quickly began running up the stairs from the dormitory to the common room. Her path however was blocked by a pair of boys heading down the steps. "Avada Kedavra! Avada Kedavra!" Bellatrix screamed as she killed both boys without a second thought, then ran out of the common room.

Down the dungeon corridor Bellatrix ran until she reached the stairwell. Quickly she ran up but her path was again blocked by an older girl. A prefect perhaps, Bellatrix thought, but it mattered not. "Avada Kedavra!" Once more green light shot from her wand and cut down another student.

At last Bellatrix reached the entrance where she found Crabbe standing in the shadows and a few corpses laid around him. "Having fun Crabbe!?" she exclaimed as she ran past him and out the doorway. "Lets go Crabbe!" Bellatrix said as she ran out the door and looked back at Crabbe. Suddenly she stopped, there above them on the landing were a pair of students. "Crabbe! There! Kill that boy and girl then meet me outside!" Bellatrix said as she ran outside the castle and waited in the shadows by the steps for Crabbe.

Crabbe stood in the shadows as he saw two students up on a level above them. Walking out of the shadows he pointed his wand at them. "Midnight snack im guessing? Too Late!" he exclaimed as Bellatrix flew up the dungeon stairs and away from him. Nodding at her orders he yelled "Avada Kedavra! Crucio!" as both students fell to the ground.

Quickly scanning the whole floor he didnt see anyone, moving at that. Turning around be bolted toward the large doors. Running down the stone stairs he yelled "Bellatrix!" as he didnt see her anywhere around. Holding his wand at ready he ran into the grass scanning everywhere for her, but she was no where to be seen.

Hearing yelling from inside the castle he glared at the windows as they started to be lit with candles. 'Little to late, arent we?' he thought as he turned around and saw how far away the woods were. "Gotta' run." he said as he ran toward the woods. Quite a few yards away.

[Professor Filius Flitwick]

Filius was sitting at his desk checking late papers and going over class lessons. A hoot cam from his window as he turned around. He had got an owl from Headmaster Dumbledore saying Urgent go to Entrace of school, It was Under Attack. Grabbing his wand he ran out of his office toward the entrace.

Reaching the doors he saw many students laying lifeless on the ground. "Oh Dear." He said as he diverted them and went toward the entrace to see if he could see anyone outside. A movent was spotted in the glare of the moon as he drew his wand, Flicking it he spoke in his Timide voice, "Reducto!"as a beamof light flew through the air toward the person running through the greens.

[Professor Juliette Vector]

Juliette sat in her office going over some lesson plans for the next day's Defense Against the Dark Arts class. While she browsed a book about Vampires, a school owl fluttered into her office and hooted on her desk. Untying the letter from the owl's leg, Juliette read it. Her mouth fell open as she read it, the castle was under attack!? By whom!? It didn't matter, the Headmaster wanted all professors to go to the dungeons immediately. Grabbing her wand she ran down the hallway and down the staircase.

Juliette quickly arrived on the castle entrance way and up ahead of her she could see Professor Flitwick running outside. Quickly, Juliette ran outside and follpwed him. Up ahead in the darkness, she could see a figure running away. It would be incredibly hard to catch them in the darkness, she thought to herself. "Solarius albicasco!" she exclaimed as she aimed her wand high into the air. An incredibly bright yellow ball exploded from the tip of her wand and flew high into the sky lighting up the entire school grounds. Now she could easily see the attacker as he ran away. "Stupify!" She yelled as she aimed her wand at the attacker.

[Madam Xiomara Hooch]

Madam Hooch walked around the Quidditch stadium inspecting the damage and the extreme amount of rubbish that had been left behind after the last Quidditch match. Nearly a hundred house elves were in the stadium repairing benches, seats and cleaning. "Reparo! Reparo! Reparo!" she said as she walked down an aisle, fixing minor dents in each chair as she passed by. As she worked, a large owl landed nearby with a letter on it's leg. Picking up the owl, Xiomara removed the letter and read it. Unbelievable! Grabbing her wand, she ran down the stadium steps towards the south tower.

Suddenly her attention was drawn to the school grounds as a bright ball exploded into the air and lit up the entire castle. Madam Hooch's keen eyes looked over towards the grounds and she could make out distinct red flashes from wand fire! Never mind the south tower dungeon entrance, the attackers were there!

Quickly changing her course, Madam Hooch ran to her office and grabbed her racing broom. Mounting her broom she flew as fast as she could out of the stadium and over towards the grassy slope. Very quickly she reached her destination and saw one person running away from a tiny person, no doubt Professor Flitwick and another Professor whom she couldn't make out at this distance. Swooping down towards the attacker, Madam Hooch aimed her wand "Stupefy!"

Crabbe ran throught the grasses towards the woods. 'Where is Bellatrix!?' he yelled in his head as he saw a few red spell beams fly past him. Nearly missing him. A yellow light shown a path for him to run as he retreated into the woods. A the Yellow light dimmed away he tripped on a stone. "SHOOT!" he yelled as he dove into the ground.

Laying on the ground a witch on a broom flew over him and shot a spell at him. Quickly rolling away it hit the ground a few feet away from him with a Bang. Holding out his wand as he knelt down he pointed it at the witch above him. "Stupefy!" he yelled as a beam of light shot out of his wand into the air above him.

Looking behind him he looked into the woods. No sight of Bellatrix. 'Voldemort is going to be mad she fled.' he thought as he pointed his wand at two teachers standing in front of the school. "Stupefy!" He yelled and caught his breath. "Petrificus Totalus!" He yelled too as his spells shot to the castle.

[Professor Filius Flitwick]

Watching the whole thing, Professor Vector appear at his side as she spit out spells. Madam Hooch flew over the intruder and shot a few spells too. As the attacker shot a few spells back. A green beam of light shot of Filius. Holding out his wand he deflected the spell from him.

Catching his feet in a bettwe position he saw the person low to the ground. "Coward are We!?" He said as he closed one eye and pointed the tip of his wand at the ground. "Vermillious Attaqikus!" he shouted as mice rats and different vermin appeared and ran for the intruder. Flitwick knew Madam Hooch and Prof. Vector would try to attack him from a knocking out spell, Something he wouldnt expect would be the key to a defeat.

[Professor Severus Snape]

Severus Snape started to make his way back towards the more active dungeon corridors from his treck through the rarely traveled walls of the dungeon corridors were he kept potion ingredients that thrived in the cool dark undisturbed atomospher. Arms louded he made he walked out of a passage arms full of ingredients and moments away from reaching the room he used for potions class an owl came flying at him. Spoting the note he started to move ingreditents around to get a free arm and untied the note then reading amideatly dropped all the ingredients and pulled his wand out of his robes a look of horror on his face.

Hogwarts was under attack! The fact that he was told to report to the entrance of the dungeons worried him and he was caught between the desire to go to the Slytherin common room to check on his charges but also to figure out what was going on. Quickly but quitely Professor Snape started to make his way towards the dungeon exit looking in the rooms as he past. Spotting the lifeliss and pain stricken bodies and faces of a three students in one room Snape quickened his pase.

Reaching the entrance/exit to the dungeons Snape hurried out and saw some of his fellow professors chasing after some one across the hogwarts lawns. Running out of the school to join them he shouted out "Petrificus Totalus!" while aiming his wand at the running figure.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Standing in the shadows, Bellatrix heard shouting coming from inside the castle. "Fool!" She said as she began to run for the trees. That fool Crabbe had gone and gotten himself caught or seen by a professor! As she ran she looked back and saw Crabbe running from a tiny person, was that a house elf!? Bellatrix wondered as she made it to the trees. Looking back she saw that it was no house elf as the person sent a spell at Crabbe. Soon there was yet another professor, and then another one flying on a broom.

In silence, Bellatrix watched Crabbe get closer to her before he tripped and fell. Turning around he started to fight the three professors and then a fourth professor came running out of the castle. Perhaps they'd finish the job for her, Bellatrix thought as she held her wand in her hand and watched the action.

Crabbe seen Bellatrix no where in sight and he was getting worried. Could she have gotten hurt?... Oh well.. Every Man for his or her self he thought.

Looking back the woods was still a fair amout of a way to go. Looking back at the school spells shot at him quickly in return to his. A blue light flew toward the ground as he laughed. "Missed!" he said to himself as a red light flew toward his body. Defecting the spell he glared at the rim of his hood at the bodies in front of the school. "Stupefy! Stupefy!" he whailed as his wand shot beams at fast speeds back to the teachers.

Crawling away from his spot in the ground he went toward the woods on all fours. Soon he heard squiking behind him and something biting his ankles. "WHAT!" he yelped as he saw tons of rats and mice run toward him. "Protego!" He Yelled as all the small creatures vanished. Sitting down in his spot he grabbed his ankle to see the damage.
