Dean had started feeling around for his book to and found it and did a counterclockwis motion with his wand and said " Aparicium." it did'nt work. He did it a second time and this time it worked. He did the counter clockwise motion and pointed his wand at the book and said " Aparicium." and the book turned into a book called Auror Mastery how to do Dark Arts and Defense against the Dark Arts with tyhe greates of ease. Catalina listened to the instructions at hand as Professor Flitwick explained it all. Once he finished, Catalina moved her quills and parchments off her desk and then grabbed her wand. Then taking a look at her desk she raised the wand and pointed towards the corner of the desk, "t'ats w'ere I'd be hidin' if I were a book" she muttered. "Aparicium!" she said while moving in the wand in a looping counter clockwise motion.
As soon as the words left her lips, a soft white light emerged from the tip of her wand and illuminated the corner of the desk. There was however, nothing hidden on that corner. Grumbling, Catalina looked about her desk for another place where a book might want to hide. "Aparicium" she exclaimed as she flicked her wand at the opposite corner. This time only green sparks flew from her wand and then nothing. "Aparicium" Catalina repeated, this time with the circular motion and again the corner of the desk was illuminated and once again nothing lay hidden in that corner.
Looking about the room she saw many others had already found their books. It was just her luck to get a book that wanted to play hide and seek! Feeling a bit anxious, she began to rapid fire her spell all about her desk. Each time part of her desk illuminated but revealed nothing hidden.
Finally after the 6th try, Catalina spotted something purple fade in and then out again. "T'ere ye are!" she exclaimed as she pointed her wand right to where the book had been for a brief moment. "Aparicium!" she exclaimed and the small book faded into view and sat perfectly still right in the middle of her desk with it's cover down. Catalina thought it rather odd how the book would have been in the middle of the desk, but she found it at last.
Setting down her wand and picking up the book she turned it over to look at front which had a colorful picture of a bunny. "Suzzy Bunny and the Chocolate Factory" Catalina quickly slammed her book face down onto her desk! Looking around the room quickly, she wanted to be sure no one had seen her book. Everyone else had textbooks and such, she didn't really want to be seen with a children's picture book. No matter how fun that book was.
