Jacob sat in the Ravenclaw Common Room finishing up some of his homework. With a tap of his quill on his ink jar he finished. After re reading what he wrote he rolled up the roll of parchement and put it in his bag, next to the chair he was lounging in. Taking out his wand he held it in his hand with a few flicks the curtains over the large windows flew open. With a quick jerk of his head he turned to the windows behind him. "Whoops." he mouthed as he walked toward the tall windows looking out on to the outskirts of Hogwarts. 'Exquisite detail.' he thought as he looked at how the glass wasnt in one sheet it was many small peices together, almost like stain glass, but with out the color.
Looking out the window, Jacob looked at the sky. Thousands to the millions of stars gleamed from the dark night sky. With a smile, Jacob just cured his boredum. Stepping a few steps back from the tall soaring windows he flicked his wand and the curtains went back down. Walking hurridly toward his chair he perviously sat in. Picking up his bag he walked toward the boys dorm stairs. Placing it at the foot of them he took a few scrolls out and made his way toward the porthole. In the Hallways it was very late, too late for a student to be wandering but Jacob knew what he was doing. He knew exactly where to go. Running down a few stairs, Jacob left the south tower. Now being inside the middle of the school, Jay peered over the banaster to see if he saw any teacher below him. 'Coast is clear.' he thought as he held his wand as ready and ran up three more flights of stairs, non stop. Finally at the end of the last stair case he leaned on the banaster to catch his breath. After a few seconds of that, he stood straight up and made his way down the right hallway. "Lumos." he said as his wand lit the hallway.
The walls were filled with pictures of old Wizards. But something was the same with all of them. They were outside, or in the same room. Some grummbled as Jay walked by with his wand lit. Finally reaching the end of the hallway, Jacob flicked his wand and said, "Aparicium." A door appeared on the wall as Jacob turned around and made sure no one was behind him. Opening up the door, there was a small stair case. With about 5-7 stairs on it. Walking up the stairs, Jacob found himself in the Astronomy Tower. "Locomotor Chair." he said as a chair from the corner flew toward him. Dusing it off he sat down. The room was lit by one thing, the sky. It was a wonderous night out and a great night to look at the stars.
Standing up out of his chair, he walked toward the telescope in the far right side of the room. Turing a dial he focused in on a star. Not sure what one it was, he opened up his cloak and took out a scroll. Opening it, he begain to match up different stars in the sky, trying to figure out what this specific one was.
