Before the common room doorway could even be opened fully, Kim had burst through it at full speed. Her bag was banging upon her back and she sprinted down the hallway towards the staircase. She was late once again. It wasn't her fault though this time. There was a box of every flavor beans on the table and she had to wait and make sure that the rightful owner came and collected it, of course she wasn't too sure the professor would like that excuse.
Left, left, right, straight. Kim ran through the halls and at last reached the main stairwell. It was however blocked. Standing at the top of the steps looking down, Kim saw nothing but a mass of older students making their way up the stairs to some class or something, whatever it was that older students generally did. Looking at her watch, Kim squealed. She had less than 2 minutes! There was simply no way that she could manage to squeeze and push her way down this mass of students. So she would have to improvise. Flinging her bag's shoulder straps on and making sure it was securely fastened to her back, Kim climbed up onto the stair railing.
Once on top of the railing it wasn't that difficult to balance herself. Slowly Kim began to slide down the railing, a few inches at a time, much to the shock of the older students. Ignoring their stares and comments, Kim continued to make her way down the steps in this fashion. Looking at her watch, she had less than one minute! This was taking much too long, Kim thought as she began to quicken her face and began to hop down the railing nearly a foot per hop.
As she prepared to hop once more she lost her footing and slipped and tumbled onto the railing. What then followed was not what Kim had anticipated. She soon began to slide down the railing and despite her attempts to grab onto the railing, her fingers kept slipping on the finely polished wood. Gathering more and more speed, Kim looked down to the bottom of the stairs and the large statue that stood at it's base. Faster and faster Kim zoomed down the railing, her eyes wide open as she tried to figure out what to do. One final turn was it though as Kim lost her balance and tumbled off the railing, landing on the tile floor with a *THUMP!*
Getting up, Kim rubbed her bum, which was hurting quite a bit. Looking around she stood there as she tried to figure out just where she was supposed to be going now.

Raidon stood a couple yards back, looking up at the very busy main stairwell, "there is no way I'm gonna deal with that just to get a stupid book! Jeeze I'd rather tell a professor my owl ate it and face their wrath instead of this!" Raidon exclaimed as he looked up at all the students. Not that it would probably take him that long to get through he just wasn't in the mood to bother with ticking off a couple dozen teenagers by running through them not so nicely, he new he wouldn't!
Shaking his head and looking up again he was about to shake his head again when he his brain took a double take of the scene as he saw someone, someone on the banaster?! Raidon let out a sigh when he recognized the 2nd year hufflepuff, what was she doing?! When Raidon saw her loose control of her downword desent and started to pick up speed looking somewhat paniced himself for a moment her started to run over to the stairs. Reaching the statue just as she fell of the banaster and on her bum. Moving over to her side he knelt down and grabbed her bag. "ARE YOU TRYING TO GET KILLED?!" Raidon looked down at Kim looking and sounding far to much like a concerned parent even to his own ears.
Raidon looked her over checking for any injuries and/or bleeding, and continued, "your not hurt are ye? Give your self a little rush?" Raidon shook his head and let his arm drop, still holding her bag, to his side as he continued, "do you need to go to the hospital wing or are you just a little rattled seeing as your looking around like a lost little puppy....wait you didn't hit your head did you? You didn't get amnesia or anything, right? I didn't think you hit your head? Did you?" Raidon looked worried. Then flushed slightly, "eh sorry bout that kinda went a little over board! I've been having to keep an eye on to many younger cousins or something it would appear." Raidon looked amused. "But your alright?"
((Hope you don't mind me posting Kim but you didn't say if it was for someone?"

Kim was feverishly rubbing her back side when someone came over to her. "Hello!" Kim cheerfully said as she stopped rubbing her back and looked up at the much much taller person who was holding her bag. "Hey! That's my bag!" She said as she grabbed it and bug it on. "Where did you get it from!? I thought I had it with me? Did you get it in the Great Hall? Sometimes I leave it there, last time I had to run all over the castle trying to find it because I had put my homework in my bag. You know, but that is what bags are for though to put stuff in like books and homework and you know? So like I couldn't find my bag so I had to go all over and look for it. I thought I maybe had left it down at the Quidditch pitch so I went down here but then it wasn't there so I just had to go back to my dorm room and then I had to re do all my homeworks. Then when I went to breakfast I found my bag! That was funny because I had done all of my homework wrong too and then I had my bag and I had my right homework so I didn't have to turn in my wrong homework!"
Kim then stopped and looked up at the stairwell that was now emptying out as most students had climbed up the many steps. Checking her watch, she was now one minute late! "Er.. umm, what class do we have now?" Kim asked the older boy as she scratched her head and fumbled through her bag for her class schedule.

"I just found it on the ground and since you fell thought you dropped it!" Raidon smiled amused as Kim went on about loosing her bag and redoing homework to only have done it wrong then finding her bag. "um...uh...truthfully I don't know..." Raidon rubbed the back of his head and looked up slightly while thinking. "I uh think we have potions, or I have potions?" Raidon sighed, "Jeeze I do have Potions, crap I was gonna get my books but these dunderheads were all in the way!"
Shaking his head he pulled out his wand, "I am not going to potions with out my books or homework, I don't need one of old Snape's headackes. 'Accio backpack!'" Raidon exclaimed holding out his wand and waited a moment then smiled when his bag shot at him, jumping to the side he held out his hand and grabbed it. Ah gotta love that spell!"
Smiling down at Kim he asked, "so you think you have potions class? If so would you like to acompany me?" Raidon waited for the girls answer.

"Oh YEA! Potions!" Kim exclaimed as she crumpled her scheduled up and shoved it back into her bag to be lost for another month or so. "I like Potions! It's fun! One time I had to go for tutoring, and Professor Snape was soooo nice to me! He helped me with the whole thing he said that someone like me had no business being in a potions laboratory. That was nice of him, I guess he thinks that I should maybe be the person who sells potions in stores? That's OK I can do that you know, I don't do too well with making them but I bet I could sell them! So like he was helping me and I was telling him about all my My Little Ponies that I have at home and he was really interested, he said that it was fascinating and then to be quiet. I bet he was trying to remember all the names of the ponies, there are like hundreds of them you know. I only have about 40 though, but still even I can't remember their names, it's good though that they have their names on their feet otherwise I'd never remember what their names were." Kim them paused and looked around the hallway. "Umm, where are we supposed to be going again?" She then flung her bag over her shoulder whereby dumping it's entire contents onto the floor as she hadn't fastened it shut.

"................." Raidon watched the girl infront of him at a loss for words, not that he needed to say anything but he still wasn't used to being at a loss for them. Waiting patiently for the girl to finish her ramble or stop to take a breath he interegected, "we're going to potions." Then watched as the girl spilled all the contents of her bag, laughing Raidon crouched down and helped her gather her belongings. "Ponies? Really old Snape was interested in your ponies?" Raidon asked amused.
Straightening up, Raidon held out his hand to help Kim to her feet, "so your not to good at making potions yet you like the class, does Snape yell at you a lot?" Raidon lightly grabbed her right arm and began to lead her in the direction of the dungen entrance before she forgot were they were going. "Come on Kim, since he was being nice to you we don't wan't to change that now do we?" Raidon once again shook his head with amusement as he commented to himself out loud, "Ponies...."

"Potions!" Kim blurted out loudly as she shoved her last parchment into her bag not caring that it tore. "Potions! We have potions now! I can't be late! That is my favorite class!" Kim then began walking towards the dungeon stairs and off towards the potions classroom. "I like potions! It's fun to play with the ingredients and mix them into pretty colors! I remember one time last year I put my ingredients together and they made this pretty pink color and then they started to fizz and then they started to smoke. Professor Snape saw it and ran over, he said it was amazing that I didn't turn pink and bubbly! That would have been fun! I want to be pink, I tried to make the ingredients do that again but it never worked out right."
As the reached the bottom of the stairs, Kim turned down the hallway and continued to walk. "Professor Snape really likes me too. One time last year he said that in all his years, he'd never seen a student like me!" Kim beamed with excitement as she came closer to the potions classroom. "What about you do you like Professor Snape? I bet you do, he's very cool!"
