Hello everyone, and welcome to the first Miniature House Cup at the Four Houses of Hogwarts. I have great hopes for this game, and I wish that everyone will enjoy the work that I put into it. The sign-ups for this game have been posted for a few weeks now, and we finally have a full cast of 16 members who are going to play to win the Mini House Cup for their respective house. So, before we start, here is a list of all of the players representing each house...

Over the next few days, I will be working on adding threads to this sub-board that include a list of all the rules, and an in-depth explanation for the game so that everyone knows what is going on. But, until then, I need to be sure that the 16 people signed up to play are going to actually play and be active. So, the first mini-challenge will start NOW!!! Each player must simply reply to this post. In their reply, they must simply write a 1-2 line post acknowledging that they are here and ready to represent their house. The first 4 players to post will win 20 points for their house, the next four will win 15 points, the next 4 will win 10, and the last four will win 4 points. That is all for now. Just a basic challenge to start the house points coming in, and to get the players ready.

Mischa is the only person who has not responded yet. This is actually a better response than what I expected though. I have sent Mischa a PM, and I will give her to the end of the 1st round to make an appearance, otherwise, she will sadly be the first person eliminated. I will however be graceful and allow her to earn the 5 remaining points if she simply shows up before the first elimination ceremony. If she doesn't though for any reason, she will automatically be the person eliminated at the first elimination ceremony. Let's hope it doesn't come to that though!

Well, since I did get such a quick and positive response, I will do as I mentioned, and start the first round officially tomorrow, Friday the 15th! Everyone from this point on should adhere to the rules, and try to remain active. It would be very helpful to let me know when you will not be able to get online for a while. This also lets me know that you still want to play, but are just busy for a few days (I'm hoping that is the case for Mischa). Anyways, tomorrow, the first Main Challenge will be posted. Remember, the Main Challenge for each round not only helps you to add points to your house total, but also to win the Exemption for your House so that you are safe at the Elimination Ceremony.

If you have any qestions, don't hesitate to send me a PM. Dalit pointed out that you are unable to reply to the rules board (my fault, as I told the staff to do that) so please just PM me any questions, or maybe the staff can remove the lock from that thread and we can put questions there. One last important note. For the purpose of the game, I will be occasionally sending PM's to the account of the character that you are using for the game. So, even if you don't see any new posts on the board for the game, be sure to login and check PM's!
