This thread will host our first Bonus Challenge. If you recall from the rules/explanation, bonus challenges are basically additional ways to have fun and earn points for your house. I actually plan to have this bonus challenge run until the end of the game, assuming it goes over well.
Here are the rules:
1. Each round of this bonus challenge will feature 1 character from any of the Harry Potter books. The character's identity will remain a secret, known only to... ME! ;D
2. Players will take turns, asking questions about the characters identity. The questions must be able to be answered with either YES or NO! (You can't ask, "Is the character a boy or girl?" Rather, you must ask, "Is the character a boy?") Pretty self-explanatory, but just wanted to be clear.
3. Once you ask a question, you may not ask another question until I have answered your first question. If you do, 5 points will be deducted from your house total- so don't do it. However, let's say Player A from Gryffindor asks a question, and I have not yet answered. Player B may still ask a question before I answer. I will then answer all questions at once, thus allowing anyone including Players A or B to ask another question. Basically you can ask as many questions as you want, AS LONG AS I have answered your most recent question before you ask another.
4. If you think you know who the character is that I have selected for the round, you simply ask "Is the character ...." and fill in the name in the blank. Be as specific as you can with names and spelling. I need to be able to know who you are referring to. If you are correct, you will win 25 bonus poinst for your house, and a new round begins. If you are wrong, you are not allowed to ask any more questions for that round. You may however, start asking questions again when a new round has started.
5. If someone has made a guess for one of their questions, and I have not answered yet, feel free to keep asking questions, assuming that they are wrong.
6. The game is pretty easy, but if there are any questions about the rules, feel free to ask.
So, without further ado, let the first round of Bonus Challenge 1 begin! I have my first character in mind. Ask away! ;D
