Ok, so finally, here are the rules for the first challenge:
Each of the players have been emailed a list of 6 clues each. Overall, there are 10 clues, numbered 1-10 to help you figure out if you have collected all 10. Since each player only got 6 clues a piece, you will be forced to work together. Whether you use members from other houses, or players from your same house is up to you. Remember though, only 1 house will win the exepmtion.
How the game works, is basically logic.
One day, while studying in the commong room, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, and Ginny were surprised by Peeves, who decided he would steal all of their wands and destroy them. This forced the 5 to go to Ollivander's where they each picked out a new wand. Your job is to figure out which student got which length of wand, what type of wood it was made out of, and what its core was.
The types of wood were, Pine, Ash, Oak, Cherry, and Maple.
The cores were Cobra Skin, Phoenix Feather, Essence of Dragon Fly, Dragon Heart-String, and Unicorn Hair.
The lenghts were 8", 9", 10", 11", and 12"
One more thing: 2 of the clues (#'s 1 and 2) have not been released. I will release them at random times, as well as a helpful chart that can be used to help sort out the information. For now, you can work on gathering clues 3-10 and then working with the information you have. You might be able to figure it out, but I doubt it. So, stay active to get the 2 missing clues and chart later in the next few days.
The first student to submit a list of all 5 students with the correct wand length, type, and core, will win 100 points for their house, as well as the exemption for their house. After that, anyone else submitting the correct answer will win 25 points for their house. Be careful though, as you only have 1 chance to get the correct answer. You must PM me the list with your answer, and I will only accept the first PM that you send. So, be sure to include the FULL answer in one PM. I don't want your answer submitted in chunks.
Best of luck, and have fun! Any questions, just ask! ;D
