((Your character will help Laryssa with some odd tasks and he will most likely end up cleaning and organizing her classroom. Since this is his first offense, it won't too be unbearable.))
Laryssa had always been in charge of detention, though this was her first at Hogwarts, it was always something the school asked her to do. She figured it was because most of the students hated her or she was very authoritative to them. Either way it had always been Laryssa's job and probably always would be. Today she had detention to serve with one student who had been out past curfew. She had decided to make his detention rather bearable, but not necessarily fun. It was a Saturday and rather early in the morning, Laryssa had been up for 3 hours already. The detention would be held in the actual Astronomy classroom instead of the makeshift one outside, simply because there was more to do in there. She probably was going to have him check assignments for completeness, grade tests, and then organize her messy cabinets by chronological order of lessons. It should take at least half if not all day. The clock said five minutes until 7, and so far no students. Laryssa sighed and sat down, grading papers and waiting for them to arrive.
When the door opened, Laryssa's head popped up and she grinned to see the student to have arrived, "Lovely, you're here. Alright, welcome to detention. I'm Professor Miller if you didn't know, and I'll be holding your detention for you today. You have a choice to start off with. Would you like to start off by grading some assignments or tests, or by organizing all the cabinets in my classroom? If you organize them, they must be in chronological order. It's all notes, really, and they're all dated so it should be rather easy."
