There was a soft tick tock and an occasional snap of a branch outside Vika’s window. The girl in the four poster bed kept on sleeping until the tick-tock change in to eight loud dings. Vika groaned waking up from the dream she was enjoying. She rubbed her eyes before climbing out of bed. Her roommate was still asleep so she tipped toed to the bathroom in order to change.


Thirty mintues later she came out. Her blonde hair was in a ponytail with a few starnds hanging out over the sides of her face, giving her an innocent look. She wore very light jeans that were frayed at the ends and the side of the pockets. Her shirt was faded red with crazy gold beads on the zigzagged gold lines on the shirt. She tiptoed back to her bed to get her purse and then she left the room.


She skipped down the stairs thinking breakfast. But by the time she was in the middle of the common room she decided to wait a bit. She chose a seat near the window. She watched as the fierce wind picked up the snow on the ground to create the illusion that it was snowing. She watched it for a while following the patterns that it created. It was hypnotizing . No wonder she did not notice the tap of the owl on the glass until it did it again.


As she read the letter from her dad who was in Paris she was disturbed by a voice.

One a cold morning Jessica Rose woke up sweating and a Little scared. She had just had another nightmare about her parents getting into the car accident. Whenever she had these dreams all she saw was a blinding white light. It wasn't the light that scared her so bad though. It was what she heard. She heard her mom scream, a car horn, and the sound of crashing metal. Even though she was only 5 or 6 when it happened she could still remember it like it was yesterday. Jessica decided the best thing to do was to try and forget about the dream.As she got out of bed she realized it wasn't even seven thirty yet. so she decided to take a nice long hot shower. She quickly ran to the bathroom and jumped into the shower. By the time she got out it was almost eight. She decided to were a pair of light faded jeans and a pink hoodie. When she finally was dressed she quickly applied some brown eye liner and a little lip gloss. When she was finally happy about the way she looked she quickly brushed all the notes out of her Cherry blonde hair and as quietly as possible ran down the stairs to the common room. When she entered the common room she was surprised to see a girl a little older then her wearing a cute red shirt staring at a letter. She decided to go and talk to her. as she walked up to her the girl did not seem to notice her presence so she said in her politest tone mind if i join you?
