A New Broom ((Open to Anyone))

Aurora walked around the gleaming streets of Diagon Alley with a bit more sparkle in her attitude than usual. Aurora was getting her very first broom that day. Aurora was a pureblood, but seeing as she grew up in a muggle town, her mother would not let her purchase a broom until she was mature enough to handle the responsibility of flying a broom in a muggle infested area. The muggle loving freaks! Aurora always used to say. She couldn't stand not having a broom even when she was a pureblood, but now all her waiting would pay off when she bought the best broom ever! Aurora's parents had a decent amount of money, so the type of broom Aurora could purchase wasn't exactly a problem.

Aurora ran into the broom shop like a five year old running to get candy. She couldn't wait to fly a broom better than those horrible slow brooms that they gave you at Hogwarts during flying lessons. When Aurora arrived inside, her eyes immediately spotted the Nimbus 2001. It was beautiful! Not to mention it was perfect for the Slytherin team, as most of the team already had these brooms. Aurora was lucky, she had spotted the last one. Hoping nobody would claim the broom before her, Aurora walked over toward the shelf where the broom was displayed.

Ender walked down the streets of Diagon Alley with a hop in his step. He had a bag full of money and had plenty to spend it on. His parents had given Ender the money for his excellent grades at Hogwarts the year before and ender was in a hurry to buy something nice.

As Ender walked down the alley he spotted something in a window he couldn't take his eyes off. A Nimbus 2001. It was amazing and he had enough money to buy it. He went up to the glass window and gazed at it.

Well why didn't he just go buy it? Ender kept staring at it deciding if it was really what he wanted to spend the majority of his money on. Ender had never been on a broom except during flying lessons with Madame Hooch. He could imagine soaring around so fast. Passing everybody up. Nobody would be able to keep up with him he had the Nimbus 2001.

Ender excitedly entered the store skipping to the shelf but then he abruptly stopped. He noticed a 3rd year Slytherin girl standing in from of it looking at it with the same lust he had. He frowned and walked over to the shelf. "I'm guessing you want that don't you?" Ender asked the Slytherin girl. He knew what the response would be but still hoped with all his might she was just admiring the broom and was not planning on buying it.

Aurora didn't know what to say. She wanted the broom so badly, but could not stand to be mean to the Ravenclaw boy. This was like a horrible ethics class she took back in her muggle school. She looked around for a moment and acted as if she hadn't heard the boy, but then a ray of hope shined through. A man was loading in a box filled with what seemed to be the exact Nimbus 2000 on display. Yes! She thought. What luck I have!

"No, that's okay...I was just looking at it..you can have it if you want." Aurora had found the perfect solution. She would be polite to the boy and let him have the broom on display, and as soon as he left, she would buy one of the brooms just being loaded in. Aurora waited for the boy's shocked and excited reaction.
