Luke ruffled his wet blonde hair while looking through the closet for something to wear. Bryce was going on about what he and Weetzie were going to do for the Hogsmeade weekend. Luke remembered earlier on when the younger girl had wrapped her arm around his friend’s neck asking him to visit her house. Since Bryce was going, that had ruined their plans of just hanging out. Luke didn’t care that much. He wanted to go around the village in hopes of finding Caitlin. She probably wouldn’t be there. Either that or she would be so nearly impossible to find. He didn’t even understand why he was even trying to find her. If she was avoiding him, then there must be a good reason behind it. Somehow, Luke just wanted to spend time with her. Find out everything possible about her. Did he have a crush? Shaking his head as Bryce just continued talking Luke pulled out a white long sleeved dress shirt, and a red tee shirt. It was hard to distinguish Bryce and Luke’s clothes. They were both the same height, they could wear the same clothes, but Luke was just a little bit skinnier than Bryce was. Pulling the red shirt on, Luke slipped his arms through the sleeves of the white one. Buttoning the front up he then took out a pair of jeans nodding as Bryce said he was going to head down. Luke pulled on the pants as he followed his friend down the stairs of the common room. They soon drifted paths as Bryce went to wait at the Entrance Hall, Luke headed to where the carriages were to take the students to Hogsmeade. He climbed into an empty carriage waiting as it rolled silently down the road.
It stopped abruptly, sending Luke forward slightly. Pushing open the door, he exited the carriage. The first place he was going to stop by was The Three Broomsticks. Caitlin seemed to be the kind of person who would just like to sit down in a crowded place and read or write. Luke smiled as he headed down the busy street hoping that the pub wasn’t too crowded. Entering the small pub he stepped to the side, leaning up against the wall. His blue eyes searched the room, looking for that familiar face. Caitlin had this look to her that looked almost fragile and broken. He sighed seeing no sign of his friend. This could only mean she just stayed at the castle for the day. How did she know he would come to Hogsmeade? Shrugging that aside, Luke left the small pub heading down the streets looking for someplace to go. He could go to Honeydukes and stock back up on candy. Nodding, Luke made his way to the candy store. He went inside filling a bag with random candy that could last anybody a year. Luke paid for it then left for the Quidditch store.
Luke smiled as he looked around the small Quidditch shop. There were at least a thousand things he wanted, but already had. He had gloves, boots, arm pads, everything known in the sport of Quidditch. Yes Luke was a bit obsessed, but so was his whole family of men. Noticing that there was a new broom out on display, he made his way over toward. There were other sides looking through the window at the broom, like always when something new came out. Noticing that there was another boy his age looking at it as well, Luke smiled as he dug his hands into his pocket. “Nice broom huh?”
