"Ouch! Be careful!" Wendi insisted. Carr laughed. "Oh my gosh Wend it's just a temporary tattoo there is no way that this hurts." He laughed pushing the cold rag onto her arm after he had pressed the tattoo down hard enough. She sighed. "I have sensitive skin is all." She said rolling her eyes. "Baby." Carr pestered. Wendi sighed. "Hurry up Carr Carr. So, why did I let you do this again?" She asked plopping a Pumpkin Pasty into her mouth. "Because I'm cool like that and for some odd reason, you trust me." He poked her cheek. Wendi swatted his hand away. "Oh yea. That crazy trust thing." Wendi said running one of her fingers through his blond waves. Carr smiled in response. He eyed his watch. "Okay, I think it's time." He said taking the cold towel from her arm. Wendi smiled seeing the newly formed butterfly on her arm. She laughed as the butterfly flew about her arm. Magical Fake Tattoos. Gotta love em. Wendi smiled and leaned over and playfully kissed Carr on the cheek. "Thank ya." She teased poking his cheek. Carr smiled. "Any time Parson kid." Carr said shaking her curly blond hair with his hand. "Hey watch it!" She shrieked and laughed.
Minutes later, Wendi and Carr were walking about the lake shore. "I wanna go with you." She said in her childish town. He nodded. "I know, but you can't." He shook his head. Wendi sighed. "So, is it all three of them or Henri and Lori too?" She asked. Carr nodded. “Henri and Lori too. They got out of school already.” He said brightly. Wendi nodded. “And Emory?” She asked curiously. Carr sighed. “No such luck.” He said shaking his head. “He’ll come home maybe one time this summer if we’re lucky. He hates living with us, but I don’t know why.” Carr told Wendi. Wendi nodded. “Well, maybe some day you’ll found out why.” She said trying to cheer him up. Carr nodded. “Maybe.” Carr looked at Wendi and then pushed her lightly in the ribs. “Hey!” She protested. Carr laughed as he started to run and Wendi followed after him. “Hey! No fair. You’re good at running.” Wendi said chasing him about. The sun shone brightly as the two ran about the lake without a care or need in the world.
Carr checked his watch as he arrived in Hogsmeade. Pop. Suddenly, Carr turned his head. He smiled seeing Diem and Nick running for him. “Hey guys!” He yelled as the two kids squealed and ran over to him. “Carr Carr!” Diem screamed as Carr hoisted her in the air. She laughed as he put her down. “Hey Nick.” Carr said ruffling his brother’s hair. “Hey watch them I’m getting the others.” The nanny, Cindy, told Carr. “Okay.” He nodded. Within a few more minutes and pops, Tazz, Henri, and Lori all joined the group. “Okay, I’m going. I’ll be back in a couple of hours.” She told him. Carr nodded. “No worries.” He assured her as Tazz and Nick ran around in circles. Cindy rolled her eyes and then with a pop, she was gone. “Hey. Who wants lunch?” He asked. And with that, all of them were raising there hands and jumping up and down. Carr eyed the older girls, Henri and Lori. “Hey, you two.” He pointed at them. “I’ll take De, Lori you’ve got Tazz, and Henri, you’ve got Nick.” He explained to them. They nodded and ran up to the triples. Carr ran over to Diem and hoisted her in the air once again.
About an hour later, Lori and Tazz had gone to a Dress shop, Henri and Nick went into the Quidditch Shop, and Diem and Carr were in Honeydukes. “Hey pick out something good.” Carr told her. Diem giggled a tad and then ran around the store looking for the perfect candy. Diem was the baby of the family and it was no secret that she and Carr had a special bond. It seemed that all of the many McDuff children at one special bond with another sibling and then a bond with the entire family. There was something about being the youngest and oldest in the family that connected Carr and Diem together. Nick and Henri had similar jock like personalities. Tazz and Lori were both obsessed with there horses. Even Emory mainly associated with Henri. Carr sighed. This was just the way they all were. After Diem picked out her candy and Carr purchased it, they headed out. “Hey, De.” Carr said smiling. “Want ice-scream?” He asked. “Yea, yea!” She shouted and started to race in front of him. However, De didn’t notice a person walking and ran into her. Diem hit the ground, Carr rushed over. “De, you okay?” He asked pulling his sister up. “You okay?” He asked the girl. “It seems seven year olds love to run into people, but hey, atleast they have fun. Right, De?” He asked his sister. Diem nodded. “Hey, just be glad she wasn’t carrying ice-scream, that would have been a hit.” He joked. Carr waited for the girl to respond in some way.
