Books aren't enough((anyone))

[Solaro Beam G3]

Solaro dashed around Hogsmeade. She wanted to do everything... go to all the shops, see the shrieking shack and hopefully pop into the three broomsticks. She stepped out of honeydukes into the bitterly cold. Yes that was another reson to be rushing, it was freezing. Maby she should go to the three broomsticks sooner rather than later. The cold wind smacked her around the face as she ran over to the three broomstick. She ran through a wall of hot air when she opened the door and baisicly fell inside. The noise in there was deafening, so much chatting, so many people. She went up to the bar, Madam Rosmerta was hurrying around trying to get to everyone..."ehm.. excuse me" Solaro said in nearly a whisper. "excuse me" she said a little louder. Rosmerta turned to see where the voice came from. "Hi ehm... can I get a butterbeer" Rosmerta handed her the drink without uttering a word then bussied away to the next customer... "what about the mone..y....." Solaro's words drifted of into the din without being heard by anyone. She turned and looked at all the tables, looking for a free one. She was in luck, she spotted the spot she always sat in any room... the spot in the corner. There she could drift away from everyone else and read her book. She wandered over, sat down, and retreived her book from her bag. She smacked it down on the table and looked around the room. No-one was sitting alone, exept her. She had one friend but she was in Slytherin, and they were untrustworthy and backstabing. It would be nice to have a friend in her own house, or Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw... just anything but Slytherin. She left the real world with this thought as she opened up her book and dived into another world.

Ash sighed, she should probably go patch things up with Solaro, Solaro's nature was to think she was backstabbing EVERY SINGLE TIME she did something, well, lets just say she went off in a huff because she thought Ash was backstabbing a lot.
It did get tiring having to explain things ALL THE TIME to Solaro, it'd be nice having more friends in Slytherin, like Pyro. Little did she know Solaro was thinking pretty much the same thing.........

Deciding to go to the Three Broomsticks, Ash pulled her cloak tighter around her and moved quickly but smoothly striding toward the pub.

Arriving in the pub and unwrapping her cloak while blessing the toasty warmth, (she suspected a good deal of the toastiness came from peoples body warmth) she ordered a butterbeer and moved to sit down.
"Where to sit, where to sit," Ash murmured , spotting Solaro and unable to avoid the inevitable, Ash sat down next to her and sighed, "how many things will I have to explain, how much pride will i have to get rid of, how much dignity will i have to through away? Before you realize I'll never backstab you. How long will it be? How much more open can I possibly go?" Getting a bit desperate and knowing she definitely sounded desperate she sighed, "when will it be?"

Solaro noticed Ash but refused to look up. She went on with this babble of words and when she finnaly stopped for breath Solaro took the chance to get a few words in. "I am not in a huff with you but I would like to point out that you were horrible to me." she thought she may as well add it in while she had the chance. "but no my 'problem' is that OK I have one friend... from Slytherin. No offence or anything but I want some new friends." few she got it off her chest "oh and by the way I'm not in a huff with you it's just that my brother is in Azkaban." Now all Solaro wanted was for Ash to go away and leave her alone. Hopefully if she now just ignored her then she would go away, she opened her book and read on.

oh, so Solaro wasn't in a huff, that was good. Ash'd go now.

Walking down the street to hogwarts again Ash reflected they'd probably always be friends and it would be good for Solaro to have other friends.
