Arya wondered through Hogsmeade alone for the first time in the longest time that she could remember. She had gotten so used to having Hester with her that when she awakened this morning and asked Hester to join her she was shocked to hear that Hester had already made plans for the day, none of which involved going to Hogsmeade. Arya was sure that Hester was either worried that they might once again run into Arya's parents or that Hester felt that the two girls just needed time apart after the happenings during dinner one day with that other student. That had been one of many times that the girls had such different opinions about things, but Hester had agreed to help the Gryffindork. How could that have happened was beyond Arya unless Hester was just trying to impress not only a Queen but a Prefect as well.
Hester wondered through the town until she came to a little book store that stood just passed Madame Puddifoot’s. Thinking of how she could use a new book to read, Arya forced herself to enter the seemingly empty store. Arya wasn’t sure what book she would possibly look for, but a new book was a new book. Surely she could find something interesting in the little dusty bookstore. Arya made her way past the register and through the first row of books, as she began to start looking through the second bookshelf; she came along some very interesting books. Arya stopped to browse through the books, and see if they would be things that she would be interested in fully reading but most of them weren’t. Finding a table in the small reading room, Arya found the perfect corner and made herself comfortable with the last book that she had come across. Arya sat reading the book for hours until she heard someone else entering the bookstore. Raising up from her book to see who was entering and if she knew them, she watched as other students from Hogwarts walked through the bookstore door.
