Arya grumbled as she looked at her clock and noticed that she was awake two hours earlier than she wanted to be. It was Saturday, the one day of the weekend that she slept late and then spent most of the day in Hogsmeade. She wasn't always there for torturing the younger students, but it was nice to get out of the castle. Arya hated always being stuck in the castle. She began to feel claustrophobic at times being in the castle all the time. She groaned as she pulled herself out of bed, Shadow squeaked as she did. This meant that the poor little pygmy puff didn't want to be left in the castle today as well. Arya smiled at Shadow, remembering that it was nearing his birthday, and that she needed to be nice to him and get him a present. Arya's smile disappeared as she remembered that she had never discovered who had left Shadow for her as a Valentine's Day present when she was in her fourth year. It was hard for her to believe that she had even had Shadow that long. The poor little purple puff was almost four years old already. Arya put the little puff on his special black heart shaped pillow, so that she could dig through her wardrobe to find the right outfit for the day. Pulling out her favorite black boots, she knew instantly anything would go with them. A simple pair of boots that when on her feet, came up her leg until they reached her knee. The weather outside would be chilly, Arya knew that, so she pulled out a very nice, very nice black leather long coat. Once again, something that would go with anything else that she decided to wear. It was double usage. Function and Fashion in one simple piece of clothing. The boots, the jacket, now she just needed the in betweens. Did she pick the hunter green sweater dress that she loved to wear, or did she pick the black and green striped sweater with a simple pair of jeans? Looking through her other options, Arya came to the realization that she wore way too much green. Almost everything she had was some shade of green. She shook the thought from her mind, and settled on the form fitting hunter green sweater dress. Adding a lilac tinge to a few strands of her hair with her wand. Arya quickly did her make-up and added some bangle bracelets to her right wrist, and a green watch to her left wrist. A simple silver chain with a Slytherin Crest pendant around her neck, and simple ball earrings, and she was ready to go. Grabbing Shadow and placing him gently upon her shoulder where he preferred to ride, Arya grabbed her black purse and headed out of the dorm. The Common Room seemed fairly empty, but she didn't care to stay inside the rest of the day. She was off to start her day in Hogsmeade early.
Arya arrived in Hogsmeade and noticed that the village was already a bit crowded. No Matter she thought to herself, realizing that the village was always a bit crowded. Not everyone enjoyed being in the castle all day anyway. She had even left the castle without Hester, something that she rarely did, but she needed some time by herself. Arya needed some time to think, she thought about who could have possibly ever given her, one of the most snotty Slytherins, such a wonderful present as Shadow. She shook the thoughts from her mind, and made herself determined to enjoy her day. She looked around the town as she walked through it. All the stores were way too crowded for her at the moment, so she simply made her way to her favorite spot. A seat at the fountain in the middle of town was always available when Arya found her way through the crowds. It was as if someone saw her coming and got out of her seat, for she always had the same seat. Sitting carefully down on the cold concrete that created the lovely fountain behind her, Arya looked around her. There seemed to be plenty of empty seats around the fountain today. Was there something happening that she didn't know about? Did she not need to be sitting at the fountain either. Arya shrugged to herself, and continued to sit looking at the other students as they wandered by her realizing most of them were rushing around to buy their special someones something for Valentine's Day. Arya sighed, and pulled Shadow from her shoulder holding him in her lap. She would never be able to find her special someone, she was far too snooty for anyone to ever want to spend more than a few moments at a time with her. Arya gently wiped her cheek as she felt a tear run down it. Suck it up girl, A Slytherin Prefect shouldn't be caught in the middle of Hogsmeade crying she thought to herself.
