Annabella slowly walked up the stairs that led to the owlery; she could hear the entire ruckus the owls were making. She smiled slightly as she reached the top, and stood in the doorway. She was meeting Xadrian here, before they went down to the lake as, he had a letter to mail to his family before hand. He was just dropping his bag, and stuff in his room before he came. Annabella didn't mind though as this would, give her an opportunity to spend some time, with Calcifer as she hadn't been to see him for a while.
Scanning the room before she stepped in, she looked to see where her snowy owl, would be. Spotting him in one of the compartments, down at the end she smiled and made her way down to where he was. Stepping carefully and slowly so she wouldn't step in, anything. She patted her pocket to make sure; she had lots of treats for him, as he was sure to be a little mad or ornery.
She stopped in front of him and smiled, "Hey Calcifer how are you boy?" she asked as she reached out, to pet him. As she did Calcifer began to hoot, at her in an angry tone, Annabella cringed and sighed "I know I know I've just been busy, that’s all." she said as she reached into her, pocket taking out a treat for him. She held it out to him but Calcifer just looked at it, and turned away. Annabella sighed again and tried once more "Calcifer please, I'm sorry it won't happen again ....take this it’s like a peace offering." she bit her lip and sighed.
