How are you? I will assume you're just splendid and that you've never been better, because that's all I ever get from anyone I write letters to anymore. It's as if no one has anything exciting going on in their lives. Of course, I can't talk really, my days at Hogwarts are always dull and routine; but that's who I've always been, "Little Miss Routine." Well, regardless of my habits or of my hobbies, I am about to tell you something that might make your days a little less routine, if they are. How odd it is that the moment I decide to help someone out, she seems to be heading your way. You take all my glory and I'm left with nothing. Only kidding, CJ, don't get your brain in a knot. But in complete seriousness, it only figures that you'd get stuck with her.

Anyway, do you remember a girl by the name of Dixie Holden? She's in my year, and if you do remember her - good for you. She's the Slytherin nutcase and... well.. she's not as nutty as we all thought she was. She's gotten herself in this predicament where she doesn't think she wants to stay at Hogwarts any longer. Of course, I lent a listening ear because it's the least I could do. She told me (all in one meeting, mind you) that she wants to move to Paris and she has wanted to for quite some time apparently. Well, when I heard the word "Paris" the name immediately to come to mind was yours dear brother! So I told her, that if she did end up leaving school and moving to that wonderful little city of yours, to look you up and then perhaps you could help her.

Now, I'm not quite certain that she's leaving and I'm pretty positive that even if she did she mightn't go to Paris. But just in case she does, I didn't want you to get spooked when/if she shows up looking for you. I don't know if she even would, because a girl like that has to know people in high places... but still... just in case.

Well, write back and tell me how splendidly routine your life has gotten and I'll reply with my usual remarks.

Hey 3D!
It was good to hear from you. Unfortunately though, for you, my life is still rather mundane. I get up, go to work, and then come back home. But it's all good. I am happy at least, although I can say that I do sometimes get a little homesick.

I can say that Dapper has grown quite a bit. I am still looking forward for you coming to visit so that you two can meet. I daresay it should be interesting watching the both of you quarrel to see who is in control. He really does have a stubborn demeanor, not to imply anything of you of course. (Only kidding)

But I do thank you for telling me about this before letting me just be shocked to see the girl show up if she does. The name does ring a bell, but I can't say I remember her specifically. I will be prepared though in case she does happen to show up. I suppose that if she needs a place to stay, the small spare bedroom I have will have to do. Of course, that's where you'd be staying if you ever decide to visit. But I think I see how it works now. My little sister, too good to come visit, just ships off her friends to me instead. I guess that's what I get though for picking on you, right?

Well, if you see mom and dad anytime soon, send them my best. And tell mom that just because I don't write every day that I am not dead. With my job, I am pretty occupied without having much time for other things. Hopefully though, I will get a promotion soon so that I can have a little more time off.

Take care yourself, and let me know when you ever decide what you are doing with your life after good old Hogwarts. As long as this Dixie character is not bunking at my house forever, there is always an open room if you need it.
