Solaro dashed out of the library, her arms full of books. Scandalizing Madam Pince. Solaro HAD to be somewhere. She promised. She broke through a group of Ravenclaw first years leaving them muttering among themselves. Into the student lounge. "'scuse me... ehm can I get through, thanks" she made her was through the tightly packed crowds. The seat in the corner caught her eye, that was where she could usually be seen. By herself, reading. But not today she thought no today she had a friend. She passed a group of 4th year slytherins, there was the one who had broken her wand earlier. She through him an evil glare before moving on.

She spotted in a chair by the fire, Ash. Solaro scurried over and sat herself down in the chair next to Ash. She dumped down her books and looked at Ash. Ash was staring at the pile of about twenty books. "Hey Ash" Solaro said in a rush. "now before you say anything I just want to say I'm sorry about the way I acted earlier, you can have your Galleon back and that all these books are books I just got from the library about friendship, if in doubt Read, thats my motto." Solaro laughed nervously and looked over at Ash's face expecting to see it beaming with joy and happiness but instead she looked over to see a girl who looked as if she had just been slapped in the face with a wet kipper. "Ash are you OK...
you seem a bit shocked" Ash's was staring at her wide eyed with an expresion that simply said why.

"you went to all that trouble?"Ash asked in amazment, "for a friendship?Wow, I'm impressed Solaro, anyway"her whole atmosphere changing to her usual cool, calm atmosphere the moment she said anyway, "well, i don't really know what to talk about, um, what's in those books?"

Solaro looked at her books then up again... " oh I haven't actually looked at them yet, I just grabed the whole section about friends."...She rifeled through them... muggle friendships, no, In love with another speicies, definatly not, friends despite all chances, YES. "this one looks OK" she said passing the book over to ash "and why wouldn't I go to all this trouble... you are afterall... my first... friend" oh what a hopeless thing to say, but Ash wouldn't mind, they knew each other better than that, she hoped anyway. "so" She said coming down from her thought cloud, "good book?"

"friends despite all chances," Ash murmered, "despite all chances," Ash looked up, "what's that supposed to mean? Oh and can you lend me the book on In Love With Other Speicies, that has a large section on friendship with other speicies i think, I looked" realising what she was saying and what her train of thought would sound like to an outsider she hastily added"I um, know a um, other speicies umm, one that i have a friend that is one that i want to be friends with, umm? Hmmm, I,ll refraise that, I know someone of another speicies that i want to be friends with, there" that was easy to understand wasn't it? "anyway, the other books, do you want to read them or something?" oh great, now she felt stupid, she HATED feeling stupid, really HATED it, really. Ah well, she'd try to fix up as best she could,
"oh look you can't read can you?" Sneering was easier.

Solaro was baffeled, what in earth was she on about. Friends with other speicies. "Ash... what are you talking about" She gave Ash a quizical look and hoped that she hadn't offended. She picked up one of the books and pretended to read... hoping that if she had some how managed to offend she would be able to use the book as some sort of sheild, it was an old habit, as she said, if in doubt read.

Whoops! Wasn't meant to disclose that to Solaro, though what was done was done, she might as well explain,
"There's this Manor/Mansion thing and it's called The Dark House,
it's home to dark creatures, I don't really know why people call most of them dark, actually yes I do, because they're misunderstood, and with magical people and muggles alike, anything misunderstood is classified as Evil or Dark" stopping her outloud train of train of thought she went back to the main topic, "anyway, yeah home to dark creatures and basicly i want to be closer to them, as in friends," she looked up even though she hadn't realised her head had been slowly going down, "don't be like the rest of the world combined with your tendecies and start calling ME dark, though if you're that sort of person I don't really want to be friends with you."

Secretly Solaro already thought Ash was dark but she wouldn't say that. Solaro tried to wipe the guilty looke off her face before looking up and saying, "nah... I don't think you're dark, just intrested in different things." She smiled up at Ash, trying to give the right impression.

Ash rolled her eyes,
"you're SO not Slytherin, I can tell everything about you, it's good though, being able to read you, because then I can tell if you really mean an insult," pity YOU can't do that, "but yes, I can tell you secretly think I'm dark, though not so secretly anymore i suppose. Oh and I can tell you don't want to give the impression that its because i hang out with dark creatures even though it's because you" she stopped short for a moment then continued in her stride, "nope can't read that.
You know I quite like my image to be, beautiful but dark and deadly, work better if i was white though, you know add Gothic to it." Thinking quickly she hinted not-so-subtly "I'm sure you like it that I don't take offense and think I'm backstabbing." Grinning to herself Ashakiran Gandhi leaned back satisfied.
