Anishi sits down by the fireplace, exhausted.
“Just when I thought that being fresh meat in a new (muggle) school was tougher...”
It’s not that she had a hard time finding friends, she just has a hard time getting used to all of this magical stuff that only existed through the fantasy manga books she read. Everything came too fast for her the moment her father told her that he was a full-blooded warlock in hiding from....well....
“What was his name again? Holewart? Volvo-heart? Oh, who cares? He’s probably a loser.” ;D
She leans against the chair in pain after dropping her heavy knapp sack and wand on the floor. She had a couple of bruises and small scars on her arms and face and her uniform, smeared with dirt lines and sand smudges. Anishi takes off her scarf, fully loosens her neck tie and unbuttons her collar to better her breathing.
“My goodness, this would have been a good time to listen to my CD player.”
Well, her CD player along with a stack of CDs and her small laptop is bolted shut on her bed-chest in the Ravenclaw common room, but after hearing that any form of muggle technologies won’t work in this world due to interference of magic, she felt like she was a girl from the future visiting the middle ages.
Despite the adjusting, the bratty and self-centered “full-bloods” and some 2nd year idiots who think first-years are little things to tease, she loved Hogwarts. The headmaster is a kind man, she can always look up to him for any questions. Even though she was having a rough time adapting, she is also doing something that her heart most desired intellectually; Exploring and discovering. Igniting the magical powers she never knew she can posses or investigating her ancestral lines.
But right now, tired and in pain, she needs to focus her immediate attention on how she can survive for the next day without being found paralyzed in pain on her bed.
