"Sure." Danielle said still not looking up. "We can play Go Fish...or something" After putting the presents under the tree she looked up. Smiling she looked at Kitty and Suspicious. "They look so sweet. Don't they?" She started thinking about her house. Warm, cozy and her mom and dad were there! That was the best part. Shaking her head she looked up again.
She listened to Mikaylas question. 'How did you find out you were a witch?' That's easy, she thought, after. "After. My parents were suprised. Even though my brother was excepted they didn't think I was a witch! But they we're happy anyway. So what about you? Before or after?"

"Yes, they do." Mikayla replied looking at their cute little kitties. Mikayla loved Suspicious more than anything. Her mom took her to get it. It was one of the most memorable times with her mother. Her mom was always busy as well as her dad, but for some reason her mom wasn't working that day it was quite odd. Mikayla remembered crying alot that day because that was the first time she had seen her mother in years. Mikayla and her mom had a great time that day, but after that day she hasn't been off work yet. Mikayla had remembered telling her mom how she really would like something to love and be loved by, something to take care of and her mom thought of an animal. So they went off to the pet store and found the cutest kitten you had ever seen.
The kitten was all black with one white spot on her belly and a little around her eye. And the kitten had a little chubby belly that was so precious. She had the goofiest alien eyes and the most awkward walk. And she had a lazy eye. Mikayla stopped right in her tracks when she saw the kitten she thought it was the cutest little kitten she had ever seen. Mikayla told her mom how much she adored the little kitten and her mom bought it for her. A few months later the kitten was fully adjusted to her house and she knew how to get from one wing to the other. Suspicious got that name because she would disappear for hours at a time.
Mikayla came out of her flashback just in time to hear Danielle's question. "I knew before the letter." "My parents took the time to tell me that they saw the resemblance in me and they knew I was bound to be a witch." "My parents only took the time to tell me because they knew I would receive the letter and they knew I would not understand.." "So they told me..." Mikayla looked over to the window longingly.

"Oh." Danielle said. She watched Mikayla, she looked sad. That's not good. Danielle thought. My friends should be happy! What if it's my fault! "Hey, Mikayla are you o.k.? 'Cause if it's my fault you don't have to come to my house." she said quietly. Keeping her head down she continued to talk. "Did I say something wrong?" she was worried. What if she had made her angry. Then she would've lost one of the only friends she had at Hogwarts. She started to cry,silently wiping the tears away.

Mikayla listened to Danielle. "No!" Mikayla said crying. "You dddidn't ddo annnything.." Mikayla said stuttering. Mikayla was crying because that was the nicest thing anyone has ever told her. "Did yoou mmmean tttthat?" Mikayla said trying to suck up her tears. "I'm just sad because the only reason my parents told me was because they wanted me to be ready for it, so that they wouldn't have to take the time out of their busy schedules to explain things to me!" "They wanted me to leave as soon as possible!" Mikayla said still sobbing, and shouting a little bit. This was unusual for Mikayla she never shouted she was always sweet and calm and polite. Mikayla never liked to fully point out how much neglect she had from her parents. The only friends she had before coming to Hogwarts were Maryn, and Caitlyn. Caitlyn lived near Mikayla. Mikayla usually went to her house for Christmas.
Mikayla looked back at Danielle she was whipping a tear from her eye. "It's defiantly not your fault." Mikayla finally calmed her tears. "I would never get mad at you, your the only good friend I have here." Mikayla said starting to smile a little remembering the random stuff that Danielle does to make her crack up.

Danielle calmed down and wiped her face. "Good." She said, "And of course I ment it! Why else would I say it?" she laughed softly. "Well, now that tha's over we can have fun! Do you think the food trolly, thing will come anytime soon? I'm really hungry!" She looked at Mikayla. "Oh do you know what foods are the best? I didn't eat on the way here at the begining of the year. That's why I ate so much at the feast." Laughing she looked out the window. "Wow. This thing goes really fast!"

"Hummmm.." Mikayla said thinking I don't know?" "I think the chocolate frogs were good." "I honestly forgot what all ate on the way over." Mikayla said trying to remember. "You know I think I just picked out stuff and ate it actually.." Mikayla really did like the little chocolate frog thing she had eaten. Mikayla's mouth started to water just thinking about the sweet chocolate melting on her tongue. "Oh.. Uhhh sorry..." Mikayla said to Danielle. Mikayla had been drooling a little.
"I eat alot I remember eating all the way there and then eating all the time at the feast and then I had a big breakfast the next morning.." Mikayla said remembering all the heartburn.. "Ouch!" Mikayla thought to herself.

"Yeah I ate a lot too. When I got sorted and everything." She laughed as she remembered. "But I had a horrible stomach ache." Wriggling her nose she looked out the window. It was still early but she was tired! Yawning she looked at Kitty. "Kitty stop that right now!" Kitty was biting Supicious's tail. "She is evil. Does your cat ever do that?" she asked Mikayla looking up at her.

"Ha!" Mikayla laughed. "I can picture it." Mikayla continued to giggle. "Yeah, I remember my stomach cramping up after the feast to. Mikayla looked down at her precious Suspicious. She laughed her kitty was so funny. She was laying on her back while the little Kitty was biting her tail. It was funny. Mikayla looked up at Danielle as she heard her say something. "No, my cat bites my feet." "I know, I taught her well.." "No I'm playing." Mikayla busted out laughing. Imagining herself biting someone's feet. "Eeew!" Mikayla said while laughing but realizing how sick that would be. "But seriously.. She really does bite my feet." "I'll be sitting my feet trying to wake up in the morning." "And then.." "Chomp!" "She'll pierce my foot with her teeth." "It doesn't hurt or anything.. And she isn't vicious its just how she plays sometimes, when I haven't taken her out to stretch her legs outside." Mikayla said in defense of Suspicious. She watched Suspicious walk under Danielle's feet and start attacking her. "Uh oh!" Mikayla said giggling. "She's up to her old tricks again. She watched Danielle waiting for her response.
