Elisabeth smiled. Leave it to Thomas to crack a joke to make her feel better. He joked about him not being a good bodyguard. He told her not to talk, he wanted her to save her energy. She was dissapointed, she wanted to tell him so badly but she couldn't. He placed one of his hands on her face; it was cool and calming, but Elisabeth could feel it shaking slightly. She could imagaine that he was very scared, she knew the feeling. But now that she was with Thomas, she felt totally safe. She decided she was going to tell him, even if it killed her. She coughed for a moment, and felt pain sear through her ribcage. hmm, must have broken something there. She thought. Then she began to talk, but her voice was so faint she was afraid he wouldn't hear. "Thomas, in case I don't make it there's something I need to tell you." She coughed some more, and paused to catch her breath. "I...I love you. I just wanted you to know that." She looked into his eyes, tried so hard to replicate the fire and passion she felt for him inside.

Thomas blushed after she was done talking but then his face returned to normal quick after hearing people outside again. "Don't talk like that, your going to be just fine as soon as we get you to school or somewhere safe." Thomas said Looking at her trying to seem calm which didn't seem to be working very well. Thomas leaded closer to her face and gave her a quick kiss. Then moved his head away. "Trust me your going to be just fine." Thomas said looking at her trying to smile which that didn't work well also. Thomas looking into her face trying to believe what he was saying. Thomas put his other arm around her and pulled her a little closer. "We got some of the best people on this train we'll be fine." Thomas just finally sounding like was really calm when he really wasn't.

Elisabeth saw him blush after what she said. He seemed so confident that she would be okay, but he looked so scared. She could tell that he was trying to comfort her and make her feel safe. Thomas gave her a quick kiss, but she didn't have the strength to kiss him back. He put his other arm around her and pulled her closer to him. Even though it hurt she moved so she could look him right in the eyes. "I'm serious. I really do love you. Words can't even describe how you make me feel." She held onto his hand, afraid to let go. "And I know everything's going to be okay, you're here and that's all that matters."

"And I know everything's going to be okay, you're here and that's all that matters." Thomas heard her say. "I wish I believed in myself that much." He thought to himself still smiling and holding on to her. "Don't move if it's going to hurt you." He said he could tell when she moved she was in pain. "I don't want madam yelling at me because I caused her more work." Thomas had met her a few times and the last time was when Diagon Alley got attacked. "She's a little scary when she's mad." He said trying to get her mind off the pain again, He held on to her hand to.

Elisabeth saw a flicker of uncertainty cross Thomas' face when she mention she felt safe because he was here. He told her not to move, he could see how much pain she was in. She smiled and tried to laugh at his all too true comment about the 'school nurse' but it hurt too much. She had met madam halfway through her first year after a celebration party got out of hand.
Elisabeth felt a bit disappointed. She had told Thomas that she loved him, but he never said anything back. She just rested her head on his chest, and closed her eyes, listening to the steady beat of his heart.

Thomas turned his head to the wall so his ear was right next to it. It had quieted down but you could still hear yelling and some people still screaming about death eaters. Thomas turned his head back to Elisabeth thinking about what she had said. Thomas didn't know if it was love he was feeling or not he didn't really know what love felt like to tell the truth. Thomas just leaded to her ear and whispered. "I don't know if it's love but I know I care for you more then anyone else." Thomas pulled back away with an embarrassed smile. "To tell the truth I don't know what love really feels like." He said looking a little embarrassed feeling like he was saying something wrong.

She saw Thomas lean against the wall, she assumed he was trying to head what was going on. Then he leaned in and whispered in Elisabeth's ear, "I don't know if it's love but I know I care for you more then anyone else." She smiled, and let out a small sigh of relief. "To tell the truth I don't know what love really feels like." He seemed kind of embarassed. "It's simple. When I'm with you I feel safe and when you kiss me I feel like I would do anything to just have more. And when you hold me I never want you to let me go. That what loves feels like for me." She just wanted to tell him how she felt.

Thomas listened to what she said and that was how he felt right now. Well besides the safe part but that was to expected. Thomas just smiled and blushed a little. " That’s now I feel to." He said he would have added the safe part but he didn't want to worry her or anything. Thomas could here people right out the window again but they passed. Every time someone passed he almost stopped breathing like it was going to help them hide from any death eaters. Then people stopped passing by for awhile and Thomas started to calm down. ” I just wish this was over already." Thomas thought to himself.

Before Maryn could answer Elisabeth's question kids began running the halls yelling that Death Eaters were on the train. Elisabeth suddenly soared through the air and Thomas rushed to help her.
"No." Maryn cried at the thought of Death Eaters. Maryn then felt cold air form around her and she just froze not knowing what was going to happen to her.
Maryn was usually a brave person, but the thought of Death Eaters made her feel sick. She hated them killing innocent people and the thought of her being one of those people made her feel worse.

Amaryllis tried to open the door of the first compartment she came to, but it wouldn't budge. She realised someone must have put a lock on it. She should probably have done that at the first sign of trouble. Maybe then that poor girl would still be alive. But there was absolutely no time to think about it now. She muttered a spell and the door unlocked, sliding open as she put her weight on it. Inside were three people, two girls and a boy who looked just a little older than the other two. The boy seemed to be looking after one of the girls.
Shattered glass was all around the carriage, and the two girls looked to be the worst hurt, although by the looks of it the boy was in shock. "All of you, get out of here now!" Amaryllis said urgently, hoping they would not ask her questions since time was so limited. "You need to get out of the compartment and off the train." Amaryllis could feel panic coursing through her, and fought down the bile she felt rising in her throat, instead going over to the girl who was on her own and hurrying her out of the compartment, before hastening off to another compartment.
