Zane searched his room for the rest of his belongings; he did not want to leave anything behind this year, even though it was almost inevitable that he would. He pushed through the drawers of his long gray dresser before heading over to his closet, limping slightly from his previously injuries that had not yet completely healed, to pack his more valued items. He grabbed his favorite pair of black leather shoes and sat on his bed to put them on. He was wearing a pair of black dress pants and a black t-shirt along with a black belt and now black shoes. His hair was spiked and he smelled of soap and cologne. He wanted to look his absolute best this afternoon, for if everything went as planned he would be sitting with Saski during the train ride to Hogwarts.
After gathering all his belongings he heard a small knock on his bedroom door. He walked to the door slowly, upon opening it he saw a small house elf looking up at him, "Your carriage is waiting for you sir," Zane nodded and pointed towards his bag. The house elf scurried to the bags and began to carry them all out as Zane walked casually down the grand stairs in his castle home. When he reached the bottom he saw his younger sister ordering around a few house elves, he rolled his eyes and headed to the kitchen.
Upon entering the kitchen he saw his mother and gave her a kiss on the cheek, "Do you have what I asked for?" he questioned. She smiled slightly, "I sure do," she handed him a small package, "Goodluck with that," she said proudly. He took it from her and thanked her before heading to the front door and stepping into the carriage alongside his sister. He glared at her prufesely before turning and looking at the window. He could not wait to get to the platform and see Saski, they were supposed to meet there at 10am. He sat silently watching the objects outside the window go by quickly, trying his best to ignore his worthless sister.
