Juliette stood guard at the first car's door with her wand in hand. Security had been set to a maximum due to the events of the past few weeks. Students could only enter the train via a few open doors on the train this year, and each of those doors was guarded by a professor who had to verify that everyone boarding was a student. 1st years were required to show their Hogwart's letters. Dozens of Aurors stood by on the platform as well as on the train making it feel more like a military train rather than a school train.
As the clock struck and the train's engine blew its whistle, Juliette took one last look at the platform and more specifically those who were standing closest to her. With her wand still in hand she closed the door and locked it, then hit the door with a series of magical locking charms. She then began her rounds of the first two cars, a pair of Aurors were assigned with her to the first two cars but she insisted that the Aurors stay in a compartment and not wander too much so as to not make the students any more nervous than need be. The Aurors had reluctantly agreed and had taken the first compartment of the 2nd car.
As Juliette walked through the two cars she checked in on every compartment making sure everything was alright. Last June she'd been attacked from behind by a Death Eater and they'd subsequently went on to attack HER class and although the other professors had told her it wasn't her fault it could have happened to anyone, she was determined to not let her guard down ever again.

With the light of recent events the decision that Hogwarts Express needed more security had been reached. Dumbeldore had assigned a couple of the Hogwarts teachers to be on board. The Order members had other work to do. But a couple of Aurors had been spared by the Ministry to help guard the Express. Minerva directed a nervous looking 2nd year into an empty compartment before continuing her brisk walk down the train. Students seemed anxious. Had every right to be anxious too. Why, professors didn’t come on the train very often. But the security needs had risen.
Raising her hand Minerva checked that her hair had been drawn into a proper bun at the back of her head. She would have to hurry to the school afterwards. The Sorting ceremony had to begin shortly after they had arrived. Traditions were important. Minerva didn’t want to see any lasting Hogwarts tradition broken while she was a professor in the school.
With her lips drawn into a think line Minerva noticed a colleague up near the train. Making her way over Minerva nodded briskly: “Hello, Juliette. I trust everything has been alright over here?”

Something caught Juliette's eye and in a flash she was quickly walking to a compartment door that had just slid shut. Without knocking she slid open the door and looked at the three young students in the compartment. She had no idea who they were as she'd never seen them in her Arithmancy class, though that didn't mean much as only half the students would ever enter her class, and then they'd only be 4th year or above. "You" Juliette said as she held out an open hand at a boy with short brown hair, "hand it over." The boy exchanged a confused look with the other boys in the compartment and shrugged his shoulders. "Don't play innocent, empty your pockets, in fact, all of you empty your pockets."
In about two minutes Juliette had confiscated a small stash of contraband including 4 dung bombs and several other exploding noise makers from the Weasley's shop. "I should hope you'd have the proper sense to not bring such things on board when the entire train is on such high security! I shall have your names now, you'll each be getting an hour of detention for every item I've confiscated." Juliette then slid the door shut and put all the items into a cloth bag and set it in the compartment where the Aurors were waiting. As she returned to her rounds she heard Professor McGonagall approach. "Yes Professor McGonagall, everything's normal, just confiscated about a dozen items from the Weasley's shop, nothing else though. I trust everything has been well in your cars as well?"

The car slowly rolled to a stop in front of Kings Cross Station. Ed who was near the door quickly climbed out, popped open the trunk of the car and quickly got out his trunk and set it on a trolley. His entire family, all Slytherins, he was the only one ever to be sorted into Ravenclaw. After that, they acted like he didn't exist. The only thing they would do was take him to Kings Cross. He could apperate now, but he suspected there were new defenses around the station so apperating wouldn't be a good idea. Ed managed to get away from his family before his sisters became violent. His older sister had graduated, but his younger sister was going in for her sixth year and she was non to happy to have him in the car.
Ed stepped into the station and easily passed the barrier onto platform 9 & 3/4. He wasted no time and headed to the train and found a compartment to stow his trunk. He sat there for a moment, the sudden urge to be doing something came over him. He exited the compartment and walked the halls. A second year bumped into him and out dropped a small pouch from the boys cloak. The boy took off running. "Hey!" Ed called but the boy was gone. He picked up the pouch and noticed quite a few articles from the Weasley shop in it.
He frowned at it. He stood up fully and noticed Professor Vector and McGonagall. He approached them. "Hello Professors. I hope everything is going well?" He handed the bag to Vector. "Here, some kid dropped this and than ran for it. I didn't get his name." He looked around and than a thought came to him. "Do you need any help? I am a 7th year so I think I could help you Professors with anything?"

Aedan had his sister by the hand and was currently trying to keep her focus as they made their way to Platform 9 and 3/4.
"Come on Mira. You will have plenty of time to look at everything once we board the train. I promise." The trolley behind them being pushed by Preston held their trunks, Aedan's owl, and Mirabel's cat. Aedan checked behind him to make sure Preston was still following them before he pulled his sister through the brick wall.
"We'll sit at the front of the train since this is your first year. That's near where the professors sit and I'm sure there will be other first years there as well." While Preston took care of their belongings Aedan helped Mirabel into the train and climbed in after her. He grabbed her had again quickly before she could wander off.
"Look there's Professor McGonagall. She teaches transfiguration. She's strict, but fair. I'm sure you'll do well in her class. And that's Professor Vector. She teaches arithmancy. They must be patrolling these cars." he explained. "Security is very high this year."
He ushered her into an empty compartment and shut the door. He sighed with relief. Hopefully this would be an uneventful trip and he could convince Mirabel to remain in their compartment. He highly doubted this, however.

Mirabel walked along happily doing her best to keep up with Aedan's fast pace. He seemed worried about something. She did not mind having to sit at the front of the train. She was just so excited to be riding the Hogwarts Express at all. She listened as her brother rambled about the two Professors who looked to be having a very serious conversation. She could not wait until her transfiguration class besides charms she knew it should be her favorite. She took a seat in the compartment Aedan just about shoved her into and looked at him expectantly. He looked relieved as he took a seat across from her and looked out the window.
"Aedan," she began uncertainly, "do you think I'll be as good at magic as my mother? I mean I don't want to disappoint grandmother and end up being a complete and utter failure." Mirabel looked around before lowering her voice to a whisper. "I mean it's been suspected that my father was a muggle. Could that impair me?"
The compartment door sliding open prevented the siblings from continuing their conversation.

Filch walked about Platform 9 & 3/4 with a large scowl on his face. He hated being out of the castle. He hated these kids even more. But Dumbledore had asked him to help the Professors in their search for any contraband items. Filch had a long roll of parchment in his pocket, and a large back in another. The parchment had names of all the students he had caught with illegal items and deserved detention. The bag held the illegal items. "Hey you!" Filch yelled and grabbed a boy who looked to be a fourth year. "What are you tryin to sneak in?" Filch shook the boy and searched his pockets, but found nothing on the boy. Filch glared. "Run along." He growled.
Filch climbed onto the train and began to snoop around. Charging into compartments at random times trying to catch the sniveling kids of guard. Filch than saw two kids, a third year by the looks of it and a first year. They looked suspicious. Filch saw the third year point out the two Professors at the end of the hall. No doubt showing the first year who to steer clear off. They clearly had illegal items they were trying to hide. Filch tore open their compartment door. "Alright! Hand it over! If you hand whatever it is you have over willingly, you'll only have detention for a month, but force me to take the items, and I'll have your heads for the entire year!" He barked at them and extended his hand expectantly, glaring down at them.

It was early in the morning, but this was not enough time for Iseo to get used to the idea that she was finally going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry that very day; she was estremaly excited, she have heard about this school from her parents since she was 4, when she went to her first school (a muggle school). Tristan and Psyche told their little girl: “Cute angel!!! when time comes in, around 7 years from now, your eyes will be wide open for the universe that will be revealed to you in the best place for people of our kind, this first school will show you about the ordinary world, but in your future you will be part of an extraordinary world the WIZARDING WORLD. Seven years you must study here and then seven years you will study at Hogwarts – Seven is a very important number – Don’t forget to count backwards Cute angel, seven years from today will be your happiest day”
And so it is, seven years had passed since they told this and now here they are walking little Iseo to her new school. She had being acting extremely happy for the last week.. a week full of new things, can you imagine the excitement on getting new school robes? A wand? A new pet and all that stuff? Well , just imagine your favourite ice cream, with your favourite topping, in the best amusement park in the work and multiply that by 7.000.000 giggled that happy, little Iseo was.!
Time was running very fast and she was dancing, jumping smiling and singing…. She was so emotive that she was kissing good bye everything and everyone in her house, only her parents and her nanny were scorting her to Kings Cross Station. She was caring nothing but her little pet Orus on her shoulder, her stuff were already packed in the car and they left the mansion very fast, cause they were a little bit late. Her driver took them very fast , he knew all the possible shortcuts trough London Streets and they arrive on time….A little crowded for that time but they manage to get to platform Platform Nine and Three Quarters. Tristan met there some of his colleagues –Aurors-… they seem to be guarding the train and scorting it to Hogsmeade station.
It was almost time…everyone was boarding and Iseo stop singing and dancing at last to hug very tight her mom and dad, this was the very first time she was going to study far from home. Her nanny Gave her a little wrapped gift and wish her good luck finding new friends. Her Daddy give her a warm kiss in her forehead and advise her to be a good girl as always and pay attention on classes. Her mom kiss her good bye on both her cheeks and promised her to be sending owls very often, to make her feel close to them. Tristan Put Orus on his cage and scorted Iseo to one pf the few doors open, she show her admission letter to one teacher over there and headed inside the train to find a place to sit.

Dana slammed into the wall of the very first compartment after having soared through professor McGonagall and professor Vector. Ignoring the light throbbing in her head knowing she’d get a bruise Dana rose to wobbly legs hanging onto the wall for support. Her mind was refusing to accept what had happened. The attack... the Death eaters... Her face was ghostly white as she reviewed the mental picture of the young auror – the one who had a sweet smile – had fell after being hit with the ’Avada Kedavra’ curse. Dana was cold with her eyes seemingly too big in her toopale face as she looked at the professors. „Death Eaters. There are... death eaters... in the back of the train,“ Dana whispered with her voice breaking. Her voice would have been barely audible at most circumstances but her sudden appearance had silenced the hallway so the words carried over the whole hallway. With the deeper meaning of it only now engraving itself into her mind.
„KRIS! He’s hurt,“ Dana shouted bursting forward at the sudden memory only to almost fall unless she had blindly grabbed hold of someone’s arm, „He’s hurt.“ Dana sobbed with unshed tears mistying her view. Her mind was ready to rush back to help. While her body wasn’t. Her legs still weak from the shock Dana trembled as she straightened out bruhsing her dishevelled hair – that had came out of their pony-tail – out of her face. Dana looked around with her eyes wild as she brushed the few tears that had escaped from her eyes away with the back of her hand impatiently.
Kris would manage. He would pull through. It hadn’t been the killing curse. Kris was in the best shape possible. He had a will to live and a strong body. He’d pull through. But only with help. And to assure that help she’d have to pull herself together for now. She’d have time to panic and cry later. Throwing her head up Dan breathed in deeply looking at the professors: „Death Eaters attacked the last carriage. They already killed one of the aurors. My cousin was hurt too. We have to do something,“ Dana said with her voice not breaking this time even and having more strength in it. She had gained hold of herself for now. For some time. Letting go of whoever’s arm she had been gripping Dana stepped forward with her voice growing stronger: „We have to go help. Now!“

Ed had stepped up to the teachers, but they seemed to be having a conversation so Ed stood at the side quietly and waited for his answer. Ed looked past the two professors and saw another familiar face. The caretaker of Hogwarts, Argus Filch. Ed watched as Filch walked down the hallways with his shifty eyes and than suddenly burst into a compartment that Ed saw some younger student's step into earlier. Ed groaned, Filch was no doubt intimidating the two students thinking they had contraband. Ed was just about to excuse himself from the two Professors when the door behind him suddenly burst open.
Ed was so shocked and scarred he spun around and raised his wand hand so fast that his wand nearly slipped and flew out of his hand. Ed recognized Dana just in time. What was that in her eyes? Ed looked closer and saw the frantic panic stricken look on her face. She blindly grabbed his arm and hung on and began to rant about Death Eaters attacking and her cousin Kris getting hurt. "Dana! Whoa! Dana! Calm down. Talk slower." Ed said trying to sooth her and get her to calm down.
She actually seemed to mellow out and Ed managed to get a complete sentence out of her. Death Eaters were attacking the last car of the train. Immediately Ed flashed his eyes over to the door as if expecting them to burst in any minute. Dana seemed to let go of his arm and Ed looked at her. "It's ok Dana. I've met Kris, I'm sure he'll be alright." He said with a warm smile. "Stay here. Alert others." He said and turned back to the door and approached it cautiously with his wand raised. How well were the Aurors holding off the Death Eaters? Ed didn't know, but he wouldn't take the chance. Death Eaters could have apperated to the middle car also.

Iseo look the people who were already on the train. there were very few students. and about 3 teachers The only student that seem to be on her first year like her was a girl that was accompanied by an elder boy. Iseo thought she was a first year student because she was young and also not very tall.
Iseo Approached to them with her mind on making a very new friend and say : Good Morning, My name is Iseo Ingersoll and this is going to be my first year in Hogwarts. I was wondering if you mind on letting me sit with you and talk for a little while?
After saying this words...
a very loud noise interrupted the beginning of this conversation. A very tall girl had just slam the door and was talking in panic to the teachers. other student said some words to the girl and bring out his wand and headed to the door... something was happening, and for sure that was not something good.
Iseo felt scared, because she was on her own for the very first time, and she was not able to listen what was going on outside to make the girl came in such a hurry...
She talked again to the two students she first approached to: Hey guys... something weird is going on... have you seen the look on the professor after they spoke with that tall student? I think we must asked what is going on so we can be prepared, don't you think so? what should we do?

Mirabel looked from Filch to Aedan wondering what he could possibly be talking about. While he continued to demand they hand over something a loud bang came from somewhere in the back of the train.
"Aedan," she said looking up at him fearfully, "was that supposed to happen?"
A girl about her age entered the compartment at that time. Mirabel clung to Aedan's side and shook her head at the girls comments.
"I don't know what we're supposed to do. You don't think it'll be like last time in Diagon Alley do you Aedan? I don't want to go to Hogwarts anymore. I want to go home to grandmother." she sobbed burying her face into Aedan's robes.

Aedan was explaining to Filch that no niether of them had any contraband when another girl entered the train shortly after there was some sort of commotion at the far end of the train.
"Calm down Mira. Everything will be fine. I'm sure the teachers are handling everything. Aurors should be here shortly if they're Death Eaters." he sat down on the bench and pulled Mirabel down with him as she continued to cry.
"I'm Aedan Meletti and this my little sister Mirabel. This is her first year at Hogwarts as well." he looked down at his sister and gave her shoulder a light squeeze.
"Come now Mira here's another first year you can talk with, get your mind off of things." When Mirabeldidn't move he looked back at Iseo. "I'm sorry why don't you sit down. We'll wait here for a teacher. If there is an attack going on we shouldn't be wandering the train. We're safe in here. Why don't you tell us about yourself Iseo?" Aedan asked.

Iseo was very glad, the older student had talked with her, the little girl seem to be scared too, because she was sobbing on the shoulder of the boy, so she said: "-Well, nice to meet you Aedan, Mirabel I’m so glad to meet you too.. specially because we are both first years". And Iseo show a big smile!
"-Aedan you are very nice on letting me sit down here with you, I can tell you something bad must have happened and I’m scared to be alone."
"Mirabel. Don’t worry, as your brother said if they are Death Eaters nothing will harm us. We are in good hands,The train is full with teachers an aurors". Iseo said this but she was scared to the bones, but Iseo Thought little Mirabel was in need of some support.
Iseo Continued in a very calm and sweet voice: "You know? My Daddy is an Auror and there were lost of his co-workers here when we arrived this morning at King Cross Station. I saw him saying hello to them, they were here on duty. So lets wait here for any further news from the professors and meanwhile let us talk about ourselves like your brother suggested, ok?"
"I’m the single child of my parents, I’m Eleven years old and I was studying in a muggle Scholl for the past years. My parents always told me about the wizarding world so I felt a little bit odd in the other school, I was counting the days to come to Hogwarts and make new friends. Like I told you, daddy in an Auror and my mom is a curse braker. They bought me a little owl when I got accepted in Hogwarts, I will show it to you when we get to the school, his name is Orus."
"What can you tell me about you guys? "

Minerva looked at a 7th year boy who had approached them. A Ravenclaw asking to be of assistance. Minerva was about to tell him to make sure younger students weren’t nervous because of the aurors when something passed through between her and Juliette. Her hand moving towards her wand just in case Minerva recognized the girl who had been doing the flying. Dana Coran was a prefect. She shouldn’t be flying around on the train. It was bad example for the younger students! All reprimanding words however were forgotten at ms. Coran’s words. Could it really be true that Death Eaters were on the train. This was preposterous! Unheard of! The aurors that had been following her around all day turned and moved towards the door with their wands drawn as ms. Coran seemed to pull herself together and give some more information.
“Mr. Summers! Kindly take a step away from the doors. I do not want you rushing in there and getting hurt!” Minerva admonished taking charge, “Mr. Summers, there is a few cages with owls in the first compartment. Go and notify madam Pomfrey and the Headmaster of what has happened. Ms. Coran, please come with me. I need more information about what has happened. We will contact the Ministry immediately requesting for help.” Minerva looked at Juliette, with a no, knowing the professor would stay and calm the students as she briskly started walking while starting to demand answers from ms. Coran.

It seemed like young students were not going to be notified on the events happening in the back of the train. So Iseo kept talking with Mirabel & Aedan. Then they put on their new robes.. still without the proper house colors ties. The train stop and the sign outside read Hogsmeade Station, they were very close to Hogwarts now.
(Mirabel: Go and look the post on the great hall for first year students)

Ed had reached the door. He looked through the window and noticed that the middle car was clear. He was just about to open the door when he heard the sharp voice of Professor McGonagall behind him. Ed winced slightly. In all the excitement of Dana's crashing entrance and the tale she told made him forget that there were Professors right there. Ed turned and faced McGonagall and stepped away from the door. "Sorry Professor." He said and than listened to her instructions.
Ed nodded and than took off and soon found the compartment that McGonagall had been talking about. Ed pointed his wand at the cage and it popped open. He than pointed his wand at some parchment that quickly attached itself to the owls and the owls than took off. Just as the owl left the train gave a lurch nearly throwing Ed off his feet. "What was that?" Ed stuck his head out of the compartment he was in.
