Richard walked into the Great Hall with a big smile. The day had been going so well, and he couldn't wait to meet Rachel for dinner. They'd had a lot of fun today and he knew dinner would be no different. Sitting down at one of the long tables, he took a piece of bread and wondered whether he should wait for Rach to arrive before he began eating. Remebering his father's words, he put the bread on his plate and began buttering, but wouldn't eat any. His Dad would be proud, he thought smiling. Richard took a sip of his drink and waited for Rach to arrive.

Rachel sauntered into the Great Hall, scanning the room for Richard. Her eyes lit up when she saw him, and she gave a small wave. Walking over, she felt some excitement. Richard was so much fun to be around, and she really enjoyed his company. It was a good idea of his to have dinner that night. "Hey Richard," she said, grinning as she slid down onto the seat next to him. Giving him a half-hug she took a piece of bread for herself. Noticing that his was untouched, she smiled. "Thanks for waiting for me, Richard," she said thankfully. Then, she turned to him. "Richard, we need to think of a nickname for you. I can't say Richard everytime I want to talk to you. Patrica has Trish, I have Rach, what's your nickname going to be?" Rachel asked, wondering. He could be called Rich, but that sounded too old and boring. And Rachel couldn't stand to be around someone who was old and boring. She wasn't going to call him thingy under any circumstances, and Dard was similarly out of the question. She took a bite out of her bread and chewed thoughtfully. "Got any ideas? And if you say Rich, thingy or Dard then I'm going to be annoyed," she said grinning.

Richard looked up and smiled when Rachel approached, and gave her a half-hug back. "Hey, Rach," he said cheerfully, smiling broadly. He took a bite of his bread and looked back at Rachel as she talked about his nickname. He thought for a minute. "Well, to tell you the truth, I've never really had a nickname before. Izzy, Sky and Liv call be Coco Pops sometimes because a little while ago I poured them all a bowl of it, and then when I was pouring my own I spilt it all over me. Parment was overjoyed. For some reason she likes Coco Pops," he said, grinning at his ramblings. "But that's probably not what you're looking for," he said, pulling a face and then laughing.

Rachel looked at Richard in disbelief for a moment before bursting into laughter. "Coco Pops?" She gasped, "That was what your little sisters called you? I love it! Your official new nickname is Coco Pops!" Rachel cried, still laughing. "That is so good," she managed to say after her laughter subsided. Then she paused. "Do you, Richard Dermont, accept the new nickname, Coco Pops?" She asked officially, and the grinned at Richard. She loved the name, it was just perfect for him. Rachel took a sip of drink while she waited for Richard to respond. She hoped he wanted to be called Coco Pops, because the name had already grown on her.

Richard laughed. "I humbly accept the nickname Coco Pops. You know, my sisters would love you," he said between laughter. Richard ate some of his dinner and then began laughing again, trying not to spit anything out. He was sure Rach wouldn't appreciate having his food all over her. But then again, she was a good sport. She's probably just spit back on him. Actually no, she had too much class. Rach would probably "accidently" spill her drink on him and laugh, he decided with a nod. Richard laughed at the thought.
"Wait, if I have a nickname like Coco Pops, you can't be just plain Rach, can you? That's hardly fair," he said with a grin. "So...what's your nickname going to be? I suppose you could always be Rice Bubbles," he said, flashing a cheeky grin. He laughed. "Yes, if I'm Coco Pops, you're Rich Bubbles whether you like it or not!" Richard said triumphantly. He was having the time of his life.

"Rice Bubbles? Well, I suppose I deserve it for calling you Coco Pops. CP. You can be CP, and I'll be RB," Rachel said, on a roll. She wondered if she had always been this silly, or if it was Richard's influence. "Yes, I wouldn't mind being RB. People will think you're trying to say my initials, but just don't know how to spell," she joked, taking a sip of her drink. As a strand of hair fell into her face, she tied it back impatiently, hoping that it looked alright. Rachel wondered if there was a mirror somewhere, but then decided it didn't really matter. It wasn't like CP cared what her hair looked like. And it probably looked good; she was an expert at hairstyles. "So, CP, did you catch Patrica today?" She asked, grinning.

"CP and RB? I love it!" Richard cried, laughing. He was definately going to call Rachel RB from now on, it was just so them. He watched as she fiddled with her hair, and thought she looked beautiful. Richard smiled at her, and then took a sip of his water and listened to RB. "No, I didn't," he said regrettably, and then smiled, "RB." "Maybe I'll see her tonight after dinner," he said.
Richard glanced around the room. He was having a fantastic time. "So, RB, what are you doing after dinner? Are you busy?" He asked. Richard really hoped she wasn't doing anything, he was having so much fun, and wanted to spend more time with her. "If you aren't, wanna do something else after this?" "If you want,

Rachel bit off a piece of bread and chewed. There was nothing she wanted than to hang out with CP more, but she knew she couldn't. Placing her bread back down, she sighed. "Sorry, CP, I can't. You really have to find Trish," she said regrettably. "But let's do something tomorrow. Maybe breakfast? And then go from there," she said, perking up again.

Richard watched the disappointment on Rachel's face, and felt content. At least RB wanted to spend time with him, and was genuinely disappointed they couldn't hang out together, rather than making up some excuse. He smiled. "That would be really good, RB," he said as a broad smile crossed his face. "We could meet for breakfast and then go to the lake and go for a swim," he joked. Then he looked away. "Yeah, I should find Trish. I want to talk to her sometime today before I go to bed," he chuckled. Looking outside, Richard felt a sense of sadness. "Well, I suppose I should go. I should find Trish and then go to bed. I'll see you tomorrow," he said, trying to smile. He didn't want to leave at all, but doing something the next day was something to look forward to, he reminded himself as he stood and began to leave. "Goodnight, RB," he called out, tossing a playful grin and a wave to Rachel. With a rueful smile, Richard left the Great Hall.

"See ya, CP" Rachel called as she watched Richard stand up and walk out of the room. She sat completely still for a minute, and then took a bite out of her bread. Maybe she should leave as well? Rachel dismissed the idea. She should finish her dinner and then decide what she wanted to do. CP was with Patrica, probably, so she wasn't going to find Trish. And she already missed Richard's company. Sighing, she glanced around the room, hoping someone would come up and talk to her.
