Flo loved chocolate cake. It was one of those simple things that she could make. But it couldn't be just any chocolate. It had to be Milk chocolate. Flo hated the slight bitterness of dark chocolate, and milk chocolate wasn't chocolat-ey enough. But seeing as the kitchen elfs rarely let students cook in their kitchen, Flo doesn't get to cook her own chocolate cake. But just because she was nice, some elfs(not all. Some of them are really picky about who to give food to) give her a slice of chocolate cake to eat later. Flo was grateful for that. She hardly ever got to get a slice during desert in the Great Hall. Some of her fellow housemates loved chocolate cake just as much as Flo did. But Flo was happy with getting a slice later from the kitchens.
Flo walked out of the kitchen, paper bag in hand. She planned to eat it outside, just before the sun went down and they had to go inside. Flo walked down the path that led to the courtyard. Spotting an empty bench she walked over and sat down. Flo looked around to see a few familiar faces, and then opened the bag and took out the slice of cake. One problem. Flo's stomach was almost full. She hadn't really realised until she had gotten outside. In fact, she only had enough room for a few small bites. What a waste of food that would be. Sighing, Flo put the cake back in the paper bag. Maybe she could eat it in the morning for breakfast. But then it would be hard and crumbly. Flo frowned. She hated that. The only choice was to eat it now. But Flo wasn't hungry.
Oh what to do..Flo looked around again. Most of the other students were walking back inside, seeing as it was getting darker by the minute. Maybe she could crumble it up for the birds to eat. Do birds like chocolate? Were they even allowed to have chocolate. Flo was stuck. She sat there thinking and thinking of what to do, the sun still going down as she thought.
